Phooooooooooo... buddy ur thread is going to fly away to Q/A portion....I don't know how a senior member made a mistake of posting in wrong section.
btw use zip signer (available in market) to sign the zips u have made, if that's what u meant. u could be more clear on which recovery is that.

Zip creator
u can use aroma app package creator to create packages and use zip signer from play store to sign zips

No its a potatoe
This app is very useful.
But you forgot to add the procedure to add 'PATH' environment variable for newbies in the Readme.
And the Zipalign function is not working for the people like me, who use portable version of Android SDK. It should also be mentioned in Readme.
Hope that you'll definitely fix it in next version.
Good Job !

Mostly for 'signing' apps i.e after editing. Every app has to be 'signed' to be useful. If you editing app (i.e for localisation) you have to signing it afterwards. So one of this app function is signing app's. Custom ROM's has to be signed either.
For signing you have to use 'key'. There you can generate your own key for signing your own apps. Bear in mind - you can seamlessly upgrade app to new version only if it is signed with the same key as older version. Otherwise you have to uninstall older version and then install new one. This app can generate keys too.

Don't know if you figured it out yet, but if you read the syntax on the script you will see that the bat file changed directory to New Folder which is where you need to have the 7za file at. Now you need to create a new folder named "New Folder" and place the "New Folder (3)" inside in order for this program to work. Just read the syntax after you get an error and you will see the error and hopefully you can fix it. it's basically a directory shuffle and you just need to find out the logic. Good luck!!!

[APP][2.0+][SHARE] ZIPme - creating a flashable ZIP of anything!

Hello, guys. I'm sharing with you the app ZIPme, it allows you to create a flashable backup ZIP of anything! Build.prop, boot animation, system fonts, accounts, messages, wallpaper, Wi-Fi, apks, apks+data, only data etc.
It's really easy, I added some screenshots to you.
Tested in:
Galaxy S Advance (GT-I9070)
Galaxy S III (GT-9300)
Atrix 4G
Note: if you test tell me to add in list
Hope you like!
Words of developer (JRummy Apps):
ZIPme is in beta. This means there will be bugs and some hiccups.
ZIPme is a powerful tool to create update ZIP packages to install in recovery. Whether you are a ROM developer or just getting into "root" and "ROMs" ZIPme can simplify your life.
Who should use ZIPme?
If you install custom ROMs on your rooted Android device then ZIPme can be a powerful tool. ZIPme requires root access.
What does ZIPme do?
ZIPme creates ZIP packages to install in recovery mode. When you install a new ROM your system is wiped and many times you clear your data. ZIPme can create a package of your apps, data and files you want to install right after a ROM or as a ROM addon. ZIPme programs and signs the update ZIP package so your recovery can install it.

Well, when you are building an AROMA installer you select what files do you want, so you can backup with ZIPme, extract and put then in AROMA.

It's not necessary to flash.
Copy the apk, go to /system/app, mount r/w, paste the apk, confirm the replacement, set permissions to rw-r--r and reboot!

You can backup just what you want and it not backup all system (ROM), you can only backup important files to prevent anything.
Eg, I backup build.prop,
and boot animation in case of anything go wrong and the phone doesn't boot (making flash ROM again unnecessary).

[MOD][HOW TO] Enable 'hide application' option in SecLauncher4 NF4

Hi Guys.
it seems Samsung removed the option to hide applications in the app draw for the new NF4 Update.
I use this feature a lot so decided to bring it back.
its a really simple mod and shouldn't cause any problems.
ill assumed you know how to decompile etc.
OK Lets get started.
Decompile secLauncher4.apk
Navigate to SecLauncher4\smali\com\android\launcher2\Launcher.smali
Search for "sput-boolean v3, Lcom/android/launcher2/Launcher;->isSystemAppDisable:Z"
Change to "sput-boolean v2, Lcom/android/launcher2/Launcher;->isSystemAppDisable:Z"
done.
Recompile and push to phone.
feel fry to add this into your roms, but please give credit
Thanks for sharing mate.

A flashable zip would work only on deodexed roms, and hence why I attached a non flashable modded one in my post.

In odex roms you have 2 files
Something.apk
Somerhing.odex
If you put the modded seclauncher4.apk (deodexed) in a flashable zip, that would only replace the apk keeping the old odex file (which has to be deleted someway).
So since one has to go to system priv-app to delete the odex file, why not just replace the seclauncher4.apk too to get mod.
Unless you want to odex the file again after modding it and put both apk and odex in a flashable zip ).
Yeah i get that mate. If i was to make an odex version i would do it properly. But ill only be making a deodexed one and stating that its done for a deodexed seclauncher
Or add a line to updater script that will delete the odex file first
