Can I install any MT 6582 based stock/custom ROM on Videocon A55QHD or any other android device which has Mtk6582?
How to upgrade Videocon A55qhd jellybean 4.2.2 to Kitkat 4.4 ?
Is there any custom rom available for any MTK6582 based android phones?

Hey buddies, I'm from PAKISTAN and have bought QMobile i5i having following specifications.
RAM= 1GB
Internal Storage=4GB
OS Installed = Android KitKat 4.4.2
Chipset = MT6582 (MediaTech)
Processor:= 1.2 GHz QuadCore
Recovery = CWM by Rua1 (ported with MTKDroid Tools)
Rooted = Yes
Kerenel = 3.4.67
[Problem]
When I flash a new rom for MT6582 Only it using SP FlashTools it comes up with an error saying PMT for this ROM has changed. Kindly help me trying a new rom for my phone. you can give me a link to new rom and help me guiding....

I'm new to XDA. Before registering I've been reading articles on how to root my Karbonn A52 plus.. I've tried the following methods:
Root_with_Restore by Bin4ry
Baidu Root
Framaroot
and probably some other chinese root from PC software..
But unfortunately nonw of them seem to work for me.. Could you please help me in rooting my device?
Device details:
Karbonn
A52 plus
512 MB RAM
1.2 GHz dual core MTk CPU
Android 4.2.2 jellybean

Hlo,i m using karbonn a52+ more than 1year.
I tried many custom rom...
Many hacks on it
Rooting is so simple
For karboon a52+ running jb os try root master (search it on 9apps.com)
For karbonn a52+ running kitkat try king root mobile version or kingo root pc version...works both or su binary cwm flashing zip also working

That's a very old thread Sorry for not closing it.. I had rooted my device ages back
