I ordered a galaxy s3 Verizon from Philadelphia. I live in Greece and I activate my galaxy with a Verizon's sim that my seller send it to me. I rooted the phone and then I installed the old version of ez-unlock . When I entered my SIM card it says that there is a non-Verizon SIM card. Do I need to restore it and do the process with a different order? Any solutions?
pls help mee with this problem... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1899806

Click to collapse
1. Yes
2. You would insert a SIM card of a different carrier and see if it works (and is detected).
3. It will support any GSM carrier which supports its frequencies
i inserted a sim card with international roaming but a triangle is coming and in my notifications it said
Lost data connectivity
what does this mean?

So I recently purchased a Samsung S3 i535 from someone and found out that it was flashed to cricket. When i tried top activate it, the phone initiates a call to cricket and informs me to contact cricket. I have a new sim from Verizon.
I used odin to flash verizon stock rom for i535 and then tried to reactivate it ... no luck. I am still a noob at flashing and everything so if there is anyone that can help ....
Hi,
I'd like to have some help. I bought a Verizon Samsung galaxy S3 ( SCH-I535 ) unlocked for Verizon, Rogers and Chatr. Since I have it, I'm reading and trying some things (root, flash rom, etc.), but I can't get it working on Koodo(Canada) with the SIM card I had. I readed stuff about GSM network on global mode but it didn't work for me ( Maybe I did something wrong..)
I would need help for this
Hello all! I believe what I am trying to do is possible, but I am having trouble figuring out exactly where I should start.
I just bought a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 model SCH-I535 with a clear ESN on Ebay and am hoping to get it working with my Straight Talk service. It is running 4.0.4. Will I need to update? Is rooting required? I have tried updating manually but it failed. Is there a universal android 4.1.2 (or other) firmware file I need or do I need a file specifically for my phone?
The phone came with a Verizon sim card, and the phone I am currently using on ST does not have a sim card, so I am assuming that I will need to buy an AT&T sim card, right? Then I can activate that sim onto my ST account? Then the rest is a matter of the proper settings?
Thank you all for your expertise.
