I installed Link2sd. With Link2sd system working better then with S2E. Basically everything works fine except the camera, video recorder, QQPlayer and MX Player.

go for NOVA Launcher, much better and smaller than Trebuchet.
The free version has all the basic features and then some, but if you want advanced options and (awesome) gesture settings, NOVA Prime will be perfect.

Hi!
When i wanna use LiveWallPapers - The option is gone under wallpapers.. I think i removed something i shouldn't have removed..
Any suggestions on what program to reinstall, so that i get the option for Live Wallpapers back...
Thanks in advance
Did you nandroid before doing modifications? If not, you can probably re-flash a ROM and it should correct the issue. Otherwise look for the live wallpaper apk file and put it in the system folder with the launcher.

Which stock apps can we remove safely? I have removed following apk's and there is no problem.
aldiko-standard-1.2.6.1-samsung-s1.apk - Aldikoebook
BuddiesNow.apk
Days.apk
InfoAlarm.apk - Daily Breifing
DualClock.apk
GoogleBackupTransport.apk
HTMLViewer.apk
MyFiles - Make sure to instal another file manager first.
preconfig.apk
SamsungWidget_CalendarClock.apk - Calendar Clock
SamsungWidget_FeedAndUpdate.apk - Feeds and updates
Protips.apk - Home screen tips
SamsungWidget_StockClock,apk - Y!Finanace Clock
wssyncmlnps.apk
vpnservices.apk
wipeoutreceiver.apk
wssomacp.apk - OMACP
SamsungApps.apk
If you feel some app should not have been removed please let me know.
I think all the apps you removed does not affect. But the
HTMLViewer.apk
MyFiles
vpnservices.apk
wipeoutreceiver.apk
would be useful!
Sorry if it is a noob question.
How can we remove the apps 'safely'? Is it by uninstalling or can we delete it from the /system/app folder?
Thanks in advance.

Both ways its okay. Problem is that some apps have a different name than the filename, which is why I have given both where different. I use titanium backup, wipe data and then uninstall.

K, thanks,
Hi, this is a clean, untouched, stock Settings.apk with odex from KK .233. Its not laggy.
Unpack and copy apk+odex to settings/app with rw-r-r- permission.
Awesome, thanks for the upload, trying it out now on SGP311
Edit: worked perfectly
After rebooting I did have to install as normal app again and then when hitting home it showed up as a launcher. Select as launcher then it disappears from there and you can use your old launcher again.
If we deoxed using. 230 to use the settings lag fix can we use this one or not?

LG Stock Apps
Since some Users had not found my post from the LG Apps in hoangnova's thread, I'm doing a completely new thread so that it is clearer.
I do not know if these apps running on other LG Smartphone or other manufacturers.
Installation:
Aroma installer is coming soon (Today or tomorrow).
Method 1:
1. Install like a normal APK.
Method 2:
1. Download a Folder (for example LGBrowser ) from the Mega Link
2.Move the Folder on yor phone to /system/priv-app ( for example with Es File explorer or Root explorer )
3. Set permissions to drwxr-xr-x(like the other files/ folders in that folder)
4. Reboot !
-4.1 Otherwise you could reboot to custom recovery (TWRP) and fix the permissions, this should work too.
Only tested on LG G3 D855 , think most of these Apps are not supported by AOSP.
Apps who are already uploaded:
-LG Backup (Doesn't work on AOSP roms)
-LG Browser
-LG Calendar
-LG Camera (Doesn't work on AOSP roms)
-LG EasyHome (Doesn't work on AOSP roms)
-LG Email
-LG FileManager
-LG Gallery
-LG Home (Doesn't work on AOSP roms)
-LG Message (Doesn't work on AOSP roms)
-LG Music
-LG Video
Link:
Mega (20D Apps)
AndroidFileHost ( 20D Apps and only APK Files)
Google Drive (20F Apps)
More apps are coming soon , please write to me what apps are still missing.
Please pm me if some Apps are out of date.
:good: if it was helpful.

Alright then!! Thanks anyway !!
do you can make the camera lg g3 to AOSP (CM12) ? Please
any way we can get a copy of the lollipop version of the "LG Health" app and launcher (LG Wellness APK and LG Wellness Launcher APK)?
Can you make an apk of LG Themer app ?
Most of OEM's apps won't work on AOSP/CM roms. They need the OEM's framework and the AOSP/CM roms are completely stock (GOOGLE) they don't have anny OEM framework in it so stop asking for "can you make XXXX.apk work on AOSP?". It is useless. Some of them will never work.
