When I saw that, I was kind of outraged. In my head, I was thinking 'Why the hell would they release their main (& popular) browser for only ICS?'. The lack of easy upgrades on different phones really annoy the **** out of me about Android.

Did you think that a browser WOULDN'T need access to the internet, your web history, or what you are typing in?

Well Chrome for mac or pc always has their own build of flash, so maybe they're still developing it to be built in also.
When I open Google Currents and use it in landscape mode it lags like nothing I've ever seen. In portrait mode everything is fine.
Does this happen to someone else?
It just happens on my Transformer on my Nexus it's fine.
I already cleared cache and data.

Flipboard is good, however I prefer viewing in landscape mode. That is the only reason why I still use Currents.

Yeah, I tried to download Flipboard from the Play Store and it said not available. I'm not seeing much lag at all on Currents. It's quite a bit smoother than on my phone.
Nebucatnetzer, I have the same problem and I'm using the Asus Tranformer Infinity. Did you ever find a solution?

And the award for the fastest hijacking goes to......... "Google Currents lags" Thread. haha
I suggest that someone start a thread for what news app do you use (and please put up a poll, unlike the launchers thread, otherwise you get 100 responses that say "feedly" or "Flipboard"
Ok, back to the point of this thread I have used Google Currents on a couple different devices and its a terrible application. Its slow, clunky and difficult to navigate. Also, it takes up a TON of space over a short time. So yes, Google Currents lags.

Goes to ian1 he didn't even bother with the question.
I have no problems with currents beside the lag. Which is IMO not because of cached rubbish. I can take a video of what I mean.
The only other thing which I would like to have, is the option to hide read articles.

The best feature is that it saves your place when returning to the search list, what a PIA it was constantly scrolling back down a few hundred results. Now they just need to let you filter search results by 'free' like on the website.
I had this on my mind since last year.
I'm on GB (FB's VB) and multi select doesn't work, I have to delete one by one or I'm doing it wrong.
Thanks for the announcement.

The way multi select worked for me is you long press your first item till it selects, then you can select other items.
Hope it helps.

I want to share with you my new app.
It's called App Dock and is a side panel for all you favorite apps a lot like the new Samsung Galaxy Note 2 features. Running it shows a tab at the side of the screen, when clicked it displays links to all the apps you've set. Works on any phone with any app.
Please go to the app store and search "App Docker". It's one of the first results and the developer name is HyperMobile.
Check it out and report any bugs

Well I donwloaded the file just to see the content and it seems to have two versions of augmented which I believe are paid apps. So posting this file (or link) is clearly against the xda policies. The other files are appwidget.apk, whatsappalerts.apk, watchnotifier, writer-email-1.apk, SMS-composer, Toggles, whereami.apk etc. I am not sure whether any of these are paid apps.
But I suggest the OP should remove the link. We are not pirates here Also to newcomers to the android world, I would not install any app from an unknown source. Only install apps which comes from a source you trust.
Yeah, I only d/l them from Play store (or some from amazon store). Posts like this one looks always more or less as a spam and suspicious.
