First of all , I'm a noob and dont know much about rooting . I need someone to guide me for doing it (from the basics) !!
I searched alot here but i'm really confused.
These all are my phone specifications
Model - GT i9003
Firmware - 2.3.6
Baseband ver- i9003DDKP4
Build no. - GINGERBREAD.DDKP2
Please Help me !!
Download Kies and install also download ODIN. Download bagaria.tar here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056 . after installing kies and odin, turn off your phone, go to download mode. to do this while off hold power + home + volume down. You can see "DOWNLAOD MODE" with a logo once in DL mode, connect to pc, open odin. Phone must be recognized by odin you must see "ADDED!" and color yellow box. Then click PDA then browse bagaria.tar then wait. Then phone will restart itself. Your now rooted. Please hit thanks
Hi pal dont be shy to ask in here. So about your problem, ODIN is installed in PC not in your phone.
Edit- i guess you downloaded MOBILE ODIN in Play Store? No. Download Odin and install it in PC.

Lucky patcher is warez app. Dont talk about it on this forum. Anyway it can be depend on ur kernel u flashed to root kernel or it can be warez app that u are using with help of lucky patcher.
any solution

OOps !! I got that app from my friend , i was unaware about it threat . I have already uninstalled the apps (were only very few)
Can u give me any solution to resolve ,please
dont know about that lucky patcher. Maybe you just root again your phone. Just repeat flashing the kernel.
if the problem still persists, better do a clean flash of a stock rom and then root it again

Rooted using the above thread..
After installing clock work mod , when trying to install superuser i got some error and it said installation aborted...but after rebooting i found superuser was installed..
while trying to acces market i.e Google play it is not connecting to internet whereas all other applications are connecting to internet which i connected through wifi..
Also the yellow triangle still not gone..Please help me fix guys..?..This is my first post in xda..hope experts are there to help
Sorry guys fixed google play..It was problem with the date..
Now please anyone say how to remove the yellow triangle at start?...
And also i want to know whether superuser is installed perfectly because during the installation it aborted saying an error
Dude do your homework, there are already few threads about removing yellow triangle. You must flash VIA ODIN a stock kernel, or reflash (VIA ODIN) your fw. And then root your phone according to the guide above.
There are also two threads about erasing the download counter, I assume you're gonna be interested in that too.
Error with flashing su.zip means nothing if you find your device rooted anyway. None knows why it is like that.
Sent from my GT-I9103 using xda premium
Kochan ok leave that...
Now i did something and i am stuck in the samsung galxy r with yellow triangle boot screen nothin works..Please help..
Grr this is with warranty
Now what should i do..
I tried to restore and nothing happened after again booting
same place stuck..
waiting for your reply
Yellow triangle is just an additional information that you have flashed an insecure kernel, it's not a problem.
Have you tried to reflash your FW/stock kernel via Odin? that MUST remove your triangle, and that's always does it. Reflashing FW is not equal with factory reset.
Can you please provide me the link for the stock rom...because the link in xda stock rom thread is not working/?
what fw do you use?
Here you have all available firmwares (registrations is needed):
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=1&m=GT-I9103&r=-1#modelsa
Password is: sammobile.com i guess
I9103XWKI5 (2.3.5)
i guess this one...but i am not sure..is it possible to check now..?
Can you please provide your gmail id to my pm so that i can chat directly till i get my mobile to my original state..As am a new user i am not able to post continously after every poost..
And can i restore all the contents from cwm which i backed up after flashing?
U check it this way:
on your dialpad press: *#1234#
Your PDA is your FW.
Here is the link to I9103XWKI5 (INU): http://hotfile.com/dl/138280077/f8390cd/GT-I9103_INU_I9103XWKI5_I9103ODDKH4_I9103DDKH4.rar.html

here is the guide step by step:

I am sorry but this is everything I can do for you now. I've got some work to do here.
But how doi chk the fw now since it is stuck at boot..Anyways i guess it must be this because i am from india everythin matches which i saif
a sorry I guess I misunderstood you are you able to enter the download mode?
yes i am able to enter the download mode...Now let me...
I am currently downloading the fw from sam mobile and the file size is 336 mb and the one you gave is 301mb..what is the difference? both are for I9103XWKI5?
I guess no difference. Probably just a compression. Anyway, download, extract rar and flash the .tar or .tar.md5 via odin, according to a guide.
Okay after flashing can i restore the backed up contents?..wil i get back the original state with apps and all data??
if you did a backup, then yes

Sureoneclick works for Any GB or Froyo ROM
You can try it out
Hi!
I don't think that Superoneclick works with every GB firmware. Actually, i'm using I9003XWKPK firmware and superoneclick did not work. I tried it several times.
amit.bagarias universal root worked like a charm !
Oh ya?
Because, I am on XXKPQ and used Superoneclick..The older version.
And, If it is so, You can try out the Universal CF-ROOT which is irrespective of your Firmware!
You can find them here-> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1351056

Sir what do you mean by irrespective? You mean any firmware will do? One more thing, in the link provided, there are 2 downloadable links. One is "bagara.tar something like that" and the one is "cf-root.apk" What should i use sir? And how do i use those files? I am very sorry for my innocence. I hitted the thanks button.
Try this

I had used the above DoomLords Toolkit one click root for my GB 2.3.6. it worked fine for me. SuperOneClick wasn't working for me

in this thread, he says this "Attached you will find the CWM ... just flash with ODIN selecting in the PDA source the CWM file. Also you can find the version to flash from CWM Manager app."
Im kinda confused cause i tried downloading odin, then clicked PDA. then cant see that CWM thing he mentioned. I just noticed that the "bagaria-09.GT-I9003_PDA.tar" is there. So should i do this,
1. Put in download mode.
2. Second Plug my phone. (USB debugging ON)
3. Click PDA then select bagaria-09.GT-I9003_PDA.tar
4. Click Start
5. Clear Cache from Recovery mode.
Done? Am i right?
Please clear me up about those CWM thing cause cant understand. Thanks a lot sir.
Yes you are right !
If you already had the CWM app running on your phone you could have used the second file.
I did it like you describe. I always select "reset" before selecting the PDA file.
Good luck
Thanks. I got confidence now. Maybe root it later. But i need more guidance. Ive read a lot of comments, some says after rooting. Their Wi-fi is not working anymore? So say, this happen to me. How do i unroot if i used the amit bagarias.tar through odin?

i am using HCL me G1 Tab (Android 4.0.4 ), Kernel: 3.0.8+.Recovery System 4[3e]. this is my 1st android device, bought it 1 week ago. I am new in Android World.....
I installed Superuser.apk (v3.1.3) [using normal apk installation method]..... Then I got root access in FX File explorer and Titanium backup... Today I found another SUPERUSER.zip (v3.2 signed)..
I tried to flash it from recovery but didn't work... So I just extracted zip files in following folders and replaced the previous ones:
1st mistake, i just copied superuser.apk to /system/app folder [using FX explorer]
2nd, replaced 'su' in /system/bin with the new one.
3rd, copied contents from xbin folder to /system/xbin
Done! and now Superuser not working......
Now u guys can feel what i've done.... just messed up every thing.. Superuser.apk has become a system app, so i can't remove it.. can't delete it because I lost root access in FX explorer. su command not working, because doesn't have permissions... Titanium backup not working... etc.. :crying:
i have some other problems [before all these happened]... after installing andriod sdk and adb drivers, adb commands don't find my device. so i can,t push 'su' again into device.. SuperOneClick stop responding after *daemon started successfully*....
can't install SuperUser in recovery mode.. coz i always get the error:
-- Install /mnt/external_sd ...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.
Can anybody please help me??? I know its my mistake but still i hope for some help from u guys... Please tell me what to do now [when nothing is working]....
thanks in advance..

Can you just re-flash your ROM ? I can't promise you it will work, but if you just clear caches and /system, then you shouldn't lose anything on the internal memory and can start over.

Its pretty simple, just reflash ur phone or simply try to restore it, every android device has an emergency downlod mode, if u can figure out urs, u can simply connect your phone to the pc in edm and input ur imei code or serial number, and abt 45 mins on a 150kB/s speed you will have your device back to normal

this problem occured because u selected a different Exploit... u may ask help to the developer of Framaroot application, Indeed he is on XDA
and yes, u have to flash stock ROM, if u cant find stock ROM so flash a custom ROM, but ROM must be compatible to ur device, or else it will cause further damage!!

google odin like bro brian said. afterward it's all straight forward process, and yes,you don't need to be rooted.
off ur phone>press power+home+vol down, then when download mode comes, press vol up to confirm.
then open your odin, makes sure repartition untick(default shoud be unticked),select your firmware via PDA,connect your phone(make sure u installed samsung driver to be detected),see the blue light, then can click start and wait till it's green light and reboot itself.
don't take all my word for it,search some info in general section before you flash it,if you done everything properly,it shouldn't be any problem.

dude no offence but...just believe in us
3.04 is working flawlessly
a firmware for a specific country means the default language is set that way, and English is definitely included.
if you follow the outside link, i'm not saying there'd definitely be errors, but it's better to follow instructions given by us
download odin 3.04
download the firmware
put your phone into download mode
kill all KIES process (your computer)
Run odin as admin
connect phone to PC
choose your firmware on the tab: PDA
click start
wait until it reboots
DONE
be brave and simply click start. don't even touch your computer while the process is still going (just in case)
thanks!!

Connect your phone when it's still turned on. Drivers should install now automatically. Which you don't have to click anything and it'd install something. Then when it says it's fully done. Boot to download mode.
Connect it but don't open Odin first. It will install some drivers again. Also automatically. When it's done. Right click on the Odin icon. Choose run as admin (window 7 or up).
If it says connected.
Choose your firmware and click start.
Before you click anything relating to starting the process in Odin. Even if you were in the download mode. If you weren't flashing anything yet, it's gonna be okay

Hope I helped.

No need to debugging at all, just make sure you have >70% battery and you're good to go. Happy flashing and good luck.
