[Q] TrickDroidTweaks Installation Problem on [S3] device - HTC One S

Hey guys,
I found this ROM for HTC One S [S3] device from this link(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1637102), and it said that also working on S3 processor! After I flashed the ROM and boot.img, then reboot, I found the software information of this ROM on the cellphone is TrickDroid v1.1. It's not v8.0.0! And then I flashed the TrickDroidTweaks, I found there was nothing change! I don't know why. The tweaks doesn't work on S3 or what? Does anyone could give me any answer? Thanks a lot in advance!!

Tweaks are only for S4 and not for S3.
For S3 we are still wanting for tweaks - I hope they will be done soon!

Yes, no tweaks for s3. And the guy who made the package is now working on the Viper ROM, so he has no time for old stuff. If there ever will be a android 4.0.4 update for s3 we could get the Viper ROM with all it tweaks, but at the moment no tweaks

here is a 1% battery mod --> [S3] VilleC2 1% Battery Mod

[Q] APM for Sensation XE

Hi all, I just switched from Samsung Galaxy S2 to HTC Sensation XE and I have seen custom ROMS with APM. I wonder if there is a mod availavble to flash a more extended APM than the stock one? I am on rooted stock ROM.
Pretty sure there's one in the Android Revolution HD thread but not sure which build it's compatible for

Yes, I have seen that one. But his ROM is deodexed and I would like to stick to stock odexed as long as possible. Your ROM does not have APM?
Edit: I just saw that you have updated your XE ROM today and it contains a APM as well. Is it possible four you to add Blutooth on/off to this menu?

It does indeed, no deodex = no APM

[POLL] Which kernel are you using ?

Please answer!
I made a mistake.
Please add Bricked /Trinity/RCMixSensationICS/PYD-X/
Hi I'm using pydx2.5 It's a great new kernel use with mod. The mod is from pachaxxx tuner pack. It's really fast yet you will get a super battery life. You have the ability to change the settings in Aroma for CPU etc. I've been using it for about a week and I love it! Just upgraded from stable 2 to 2.5 today. You use terminal emulator to flush system when/if your system seems laggy. It works wonderfully and I'm very happy with it. I've had no problems whatsoever with it. You definitely need to give it a try and see what you think! Best wishes
sent from HTC sensation, soff, 3.33 firmware, viper Rom, sense 4.1, mugen battery. please press thanks if I helped in anyway.
i'm recently using sebastianFM kernel and i am happy so far

Same here, no problems with that. I had Bricked kernel before, it was good too, but pydx2.5 gives me more poinst in antutu plus very nice battery life.

[Q] Best ROM + kernel for battery

What do you think? What's the best choice?
Thanks for all answers.
EDIT:
No sense rom plz ;p
hi i 've try the miui last version(official kernel), paranoidandroid v20 (official kernel) and the vipers 1.4.1 (sebastian kernel), and the winner is ......
:good::good::good: VIPER ROM !!!!!!!
U could use kernel tuner to change ur governor to a more battery saving setting. Like conservative for example.
Heres the link if u dont have it: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1719934

+1 on Paranoid v.20
Seems like a pretty good ROM - better experience than bruce's november-builds.
I wonder if v.21 is worth the update. No issues so far, just slow until I changed the governor from ondemand to badass.
*edit*
Actually, turns out v.20 was still painfully slow after running a few apps. Just upgraded to v.21 - it has been running perfectly so far.

Hi,
It may be that the previous ROM had a tweak to make 4G appear.
Was it a Sense ROM?
AOSP,AOKP,CM do not tend to have these tweaks.
You might want to look in the theme/app section to see if there is such a tweak for your ROM.

I didnt see anything in the theme/app section. And I don't think its a sense rom.
There arent any apps that could help me though.

[Q] HTC Sensation 4.1 ROM

Which is the most stable 4.1 for our HTC Sensation up to this date? Thanks
I'm not allowed to post links to other forums but I found out that the Mikhei777 sense 4.1 rom is the fastest and stabliest one with all features working. You can find it on DroiDevs forums
Most stable is Elegancia
But stop with these threads please
Try yourself all sense 4.1 rom and find which is the best for you !!!

Thanks for the response. Is Mikhei777 sense 4.1 retains it's original 4.1 looks? I have tried Elegancia ROMs but it seems like it's fully themed and integrated all those special tweaks. Yes, Elegancia has the original-look ROM but still, it's fully tweaked. I was hoping it was like ARHD ROM. Sorry, I am not against themed ROM, but I think not that very obvious.

Mikhei777 sense 4.1 is original sense 4.1 look
How is the camera on mikhai compare sense 3.6 camera?

Do you guys really think mikhei777 Rom is that good? I'm on it now an it seems to offer barely any more stability, and definitely seems a little slower.
My favorite has been Elegancia v5.0.0. It seems the fastest, and all the new versions did was make stuff unstable and add stupid features.

Try viper s ROM. Viper s ICS and jellybean ROMs have sense 4.x

So.... did you try any of the ones that were recommended? I am really looking for a good 4.1 Rom. I bought a sensation from a friend and it came with Cyanogenmod (10.1 I think )... way too laggy, stuff kept shutting down, took forever to go back to the homescreen when pressing HOME... so I tried one called SuperXE... supposed to be super basic, and it is... maybe a bit too basic... it did improve performance a lot compared to CM but still feel the phone should run better. I came from a stock Gingerbread Inspire 4G (with bloatware and all)... and the sensation seems way slower in comparison. I've been considering going to ICS on ARHD, reading tutorials and how to do it but to be honest I'm 1)too much of a noob to tell if that can be done without any problems since I'm already on jellybean 2)afraid I might brick the phone.

flashing a rom won't brick your device
just put the rom.zip in your sdcard and flash it from recovery
and before flashing a rom
1)make a nandroid backup just in case
2)full wipe from recovery

I recommend that you try ViperS 1.6.3 or Elegancia 7.0.0 since they both the best sense 4.1 rom which provides great battery life and specs. But like always, please make an backup in recovery
In my opinion elegancia 7.0.0 is the best rom based on sense 4.1. It looks like stock sense in every way and it has got very good performance and battery life
