There is a link some where for that. I haven't tied it myself. Since I'm rooted with cm10. I'll see if I can find it and report back.

Looks like you'll need root for this.

You should extract it from the ROM or RUU you're currently running.

If you have an Xperia, why do you think you should post in a One S forum?

Yes. You have to be running a custom Rom, not stock. Using my phone and don't have the link, but just do a Google search for Google Now on ICS. There is a zip you download and flash I believe. I'm using it on Trickdroid with no problems.

I was trying to get out of flashing a rom. If I have to flash I'll just grab jb. I appreciate the answer though.
I have been a big fan of Swype for quite some time, however the pre-installed version just does not seem the same. Has anyone tried to uninstall the version that came on the phone and reinstalled Swype beta?

Yes I am rooted. Any issue with future ota upgrades as this is pre-installed. I didn't know if I needed to do this a certain way.

No I issues, I just deleted the baked in version again. Do a nand backup of your current system for piece of mind!
