Thought this was the lwps not just some Reggie wallpapers

Judging by Football's video, 4.5 looks unfortunately too much like 4.1. Really hoped Sense would adopt some sexy stock Android features; but maybe that's just the hate I have against Sense. Because really, I hate Sense. Oh well.

Sense leads the way and everything follows

AH When it comes to anything android GOOGLE leads the way

Nice find, but it looks pretty slow compared to the current sense.
I'm looking forward to the final release.

[Question] Pink ROM

I was thinking about making a all hot pink and black ROM. Around the same themed like HoneySense. So what you guys think? Do you guys and gals want one?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
I say give it a shot. Too many roms (I'm not complaining ), but not enough themes. Are these going to be for froyo, gingerbread, or aosp?

Which one should I do?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Well that depends , are you going to incorperate different mods then honeysense, or are you wanting it to be just like honey sense but in hot pink ?
Grr I really don't know. I want it to be extraordinary
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Since you asked....I say froyo lol
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA Premium App
So Froyo?
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA Premium App
Im thinking of a honeycomb looking Froyo ROM with Sense 3. Yes?
I'd prefer asop theme rather than rom ;-}
But as long as it is totally rad ill probably tear your framework up and move it around myself.
So point is, do it up, froyo with sense 3,0 is probably best choice.

Touchwiz rom possible?

I know this will probably inspire a lot of flaming, but I really don't care about others opinions. I'm interested in porting a touchwiz rom and need some good advice as which phone to port from, and blah blah blah onwards. Anyone have some pointers?
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
Sadly even though I would love this I don't think it'll be able to be done
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
Well it's not a rom

I'll give the launcher a try if I can get my phone to agree with aosp radios.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Yeah, this is the same launcher I've tried before and it's way too buggy for me to use. It won't add widgets or remove shortcuts without crashing. That was why I'd rather just build a touchwiz rom that way the launcher isn't really much of an issue
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA App
I don't think getting a TW rom is possible or if it is would take a god to get it up and going.
Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using xda premium
Well some devs have sense on the captivate, its just buggy. I would think touchwiz would be easier because its basically aosp

touchwiz is FAR from AOSP.....
it is as intertwined with framework, drivers, and dependencies as sense is.
i just dont see it happening on this device.
Lovely..... Touchwiz launchers hate me and we can't port it. Looks like I'm stuck with sense.

Sell your inspire on ebay/craigslist and buy a galaxy s 2 if you like touchwiz so much.
Yeah right. XD couldn't get enough to buy a gs2 to save my life. Too many low ballers. I'll just wait on the nexus prime I suppose.

Hi,
Have you tried ARHD and use the non-sense script?
The very best non sense ROM I've ever ran is aokp eye candy. I'm running it now. It is so different and fabulous! So much customization! I love it! It truly lives up to its name! I can't say enough about it! I fell in love with aokp! I highly recommend it! Its really different! A totally different experience!
I don't miss sense at all. It has extras like ROM control. You can set your cpu and other things. Its really nice. Only thing I didn't like was the keyboard so I changed it to a swipe keyboard from playstore, problem solved. You really should give it a try. Its awesome!

The Sense launcher relies too much on the framework from HTC phones. You'll never see them on CM9/10. The best you can do is use launchers that offer a sense-like feel.

Ok, but no one is gonna make that. Sense isn't gonna happen for you. Some launchers are similar but you're not gonna get the whole sense feel

Sense keyboard aweful

Does anyone else notice how bad the sense keyboard is? The key detection is awful, there is delay on almost everything and it's plain ugly . Anybody have any recomendations?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I've actually always liked the Sense keyboard on this phone. To me, they got it right with Sense 4, where previous versions had awful keyboards. I don't have any problem with detection or lag.
I quite liked Swype on older Sense versions on my old Desire Z. Swiftkey seems pretty popular with XDA folks, also.
Sense keyboard got even better with jellybean. I find it faster than swiftkey. For some reason there is a slight lag to bring up swiftkey.
The thing that I hated most was the arrow keys, which they have fixed by giving us an option to have them on or not.

It works well, but I like the look of AOSP better, and the fact that it has quick reply
Lol, I stick with a sense based Rom mostly because I love the sense keyboard and arrows.. lol.. call me crazy I guess but for me there's a lot to like about sense.

Sent from my HTC One XL using xda app-developers app
They added the arrows in sense 4 so that when that stupid black menu bar pops up it covers up the arrows and doesn't move the keyboard up, that way we don't have to change the way we hold the phone when a menu button is required (that is, before they released the button remapping fix)

I was using thumb keyboard for months but got sick of some of its glitches. I used the HTC keyboard for a while and I really enjoyed it..first sense keyboard in 4 years that I've liked. Then I just installed the stock ICS keyboard and I'm super happy now
I was going to attach it to this post but I guess I can't from within the xda app...
