[Tool] Aroma File Manager [Recovery] - Calibrated for SGR - Samsung Galaxy R i9103

Hello Friends,
With MaZel using much of the services from Aroma Installer, here you go with one more great work from the developer of Aroma - amarullz.
I have provided the link for Aroma File Manager developed by amarullz. This is a file manager that can be used in recovery boot menu. While being in recovery if you want to modify some files, or move some files, no need to boot the phone again. You can do all the operations with the help of Aroma File manager while being in the recovery menu itself.
Along with the file manager, i have attached a configuration file which has the touch calibration done for our device. So you can directly start using it insead of calibrating it again.
How to Use :
Download the attached Aroma File manager and Configuration file to your sdcard.
Put the both the files in the same folder.
Reboot to CWM
Select the Aroma file manager zip via "Install zip from sdcard"
Bingo....You got your file manager opened. You can change the themes and fonts in settings.
Currently the configuration file has calibration done for SGR and themes set to ICS with Roboto font.
Download link for Aroma File manager - Link
Original Source - Aroma File Manager
P.S : I have zipped the config file and uploaded it as .cfg extension is not a valid one for uploading. So please unzip the config file and put it in the same folder where you copy the Aroma File manager zip file.

Great effort and tool buddy...
the day is not far when selva would be called as a RECOGNIZED CONTRIBUTOR

yup buddy. I agree with you. Now we have list of buddies like MJ, ADAM & SELVA..these three are RC & RD as well..
thanks buddy

[ROMcustomizer]PIMP MY ROM FOR O3D by "androidguide.fr"

PIMP MY ROM V2.0 FOR O3D:fingers-crossed:
Hey guys I have just tried the ROM customizer PIMP MY ROM by Androguide.fr for all android devices, and I found that V2.0 of this CWM flashable Aroma Installer works fine on O3D.However extra apps like sony ericsson walkman suite and and DSP manager from this installer doesn't install, except this everything works cool.
First download V2.0 HDPI version for O3D then do as follows:
Open the zip of the rom you are running with winrar or 7zip or whatever (the .zip file that you flash in recovery)
Inside this zip, navigate to : META-INF/com/google/android
Extract the file called "update-binary" and rename it to "update-binary-installer" then close your rom's zip
Open Pimp my Rom's zip (i.e : PIMP_MY_ROM-v1.5.3-by-Androguide.fr.zip)
Do not unzip it, inside this zip, navigate to : META-INF/com/google/android and delete "updater-binary-installer"
Now copy the "update-binary-installer" file you extracted & renamed from your rom to Pimp My Rom's zip (still in META-INF/com/google/android). Simply drag and drop it into PmR's zip to add it.
Close the zip and flash it
How to Flash PMR installer:
You can flash this on top of any custom rom with init.d support(like DNA_GB3.33)
- Download the version of Pimp My Rom that corresponds to your device's screen resolution (Not sure what res your device is ? Here "http://blog.blundell-apps.com/list-of-android-devices-with-pixel-density-buckets/" is a well-furnished list of android devices with their screen-res)O3D'S SCREEN RESOLUTION IS HDPI.
- Make sure you are running a custom recovery (CWM or TWRP)
- Make a nandroid backup of your current ROM, just in case
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache in recovery
- Flash PmR in recovery
- A wonderful touchscreen interface will pop-up
(devices need different touchscreen calibration, if the touchscreen doesn't work, use the menu button of your device, select "Calibration Tools" and follow the instructions)
- Follow the on-screen instructions, make your choices between all the different features to Pimp your Rom
- Select "Reboot my device" on last screen (or reboot from recovery) and enjoy.

Do the following to fix most errors you might get on some devices :

How do I do to reverse the pimping? I'm sure that, because of it, my phone got bugged: became slower, less responsive, often it freezes on simple tasks like activating WiFi. So how do I uninstall it?

Just restore a previous backup from before the pimping or if you don't have a backup refresh your Rom but try the zip again first most of the options you can reverse
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
First time I used it, I got stuck when it changed the dns & ppp0 settings.
Took the battery out, did everything again and unselected the dns & ppp0 thing and it worked.
Everything is way more smooth and it's faster.
This keeps breaking video recording.
Anybody tried this on our new ics?
Could somebody post what are they tweaking to make our device work better?
I tried it on sanmo prometheus and kernel, sadly it just make things worse. It lagged and sometimes its freeze and bootloop.
I wanted to try it again with the new ics from xbsall. I will report how my device runs after the tweak.
Thanks

[THEME] [GT-S7500]TWRP Materialised/Dark & AROMA File Manager-TWRP 2.5.0.0 & 2.7.0.0

[THEME] [GT-S7500]TWRP Materialised/Dark & AROMA File Manager-TWRP 2.5.0.0 & 2.7.0.0
I am sure currently most of us are using TWRP 2.5.0.0 or 2.7.0.0 and so i would like to share new feature of TWRP Materialised theme, so that we can experience Android - 5.0 Lollipop Materialised design look from our TWRP recovery
Here I would like to share 2 TWRP Materialised theme with 320 x 480 screen resolutions working for both TWRP 2.5.0.0 & 2.7.0.0. Others then that can change different style look in twrp recovery, center clock option, different navbar button layouts, AROMA File Manager & many more setting.
TWRP Materialised/Dark theme installation method:
The theme zips are not flashable. First installation has to be done manually:
1. Download the theme of your choice and rename it to "ui.zip".
2. On SD card (if device has internal and external storage, use the internal) open TWRP folder and create a folder called "theme", without capital letters.
3. Copy ui.zip to theme folder.
4. Restart to recovery.
AROMA File Manager in our TWRP 2.5.0.0 & 2.7.0.0
AROMA File Manager is not part of the theme.
The theme just contains a "shortcut" for directly starting AROMA FM, rather than going through the "install > flash zip" procedure.
1. Download this flashable zip.
2. Flash the zip in recovery.
3.This will copy the Aroma FM package to \TWRP\aromafm.
4. In Materialised settings, tick the option to use Aroma FM.
From the main menu, the theme will now start Aroma FM instead of the TWRP file manager. The file manager will starting, and you are ready to managing your filesystem (copy, cut, delete, make new folder, etc) while you are in recovery
Guys hope you like it & enjoy :fingers-crossed:

[FIX] Layers Manager not working on SOKP 5.1.1 R10 [FIX]

Layers Manager found to be not working on SOKP 5.1.1 R10 rom for Yu Yuphoria (Lettuce). Can't update, shows Error (-505) when updated. There is an easy fix:
First download the files:
1. Layers Manager (v4.3.2)
2. ES File Explorer (Or any other file manager which supports Root access; mounting R/W).
Procedure:
1. Put the file "com.lovejoy777.rroandlayersmanager-12.apk" anywhere on SD.
2. Get root access to mount R/W through file manager.
2a. Slide the toolbar from the left, go to “Tools” section and tap “Root Explorer.”
2b. Select “Mount R/W” to mount your system files as R/W.
3. Go to /system/app/LayersManager
4. Delete the apk file in it (it is the old version installed)
5. Replace it with the new version file downloaded from the above.
6. Reboot device.
7. Now install the same apk file copied in the SD.
8. Done, now you have a working layers manager.
There can be a much easier fix if someone could build a flashable file. I am an amateur at building flashable files. If anybody can, please make a flashable file for the updated Layers Manager.
Themes Tested and Working:
Blackish Layers Theme
Milos - Layers Theme
Please test the fix and if working please post more working themes on Yuphoria.
Thank You

Inazuma ROM for T-Mobile users

So I want to start off by saying that I'm not stealing the developers work. He just seems to not fix the issue related in the t-mobile aroma installer for his 2.8 version rom.
So the error is "Syntax error aroma-config on line 143 col 8"
Go here to download his rom > Thread
Download the one for tmobile 2.8.
After you have downloaded it, extract the zip file and go to "\Inzuma 2.8 tmobile\META-INF\com\google\android"
You are going to replace the file "aroma-config"
Download the fixed aroma installer.zip file from the attachements
Unzip the .zip file, copy and replace the aroma-installer file to the "META-INF\com\google\android" directory
Lastly once you have replaced the file, simply zip all the folders and flash it using your recovery
and that's it. easy fix, the error was caused by a simple code error (which I fixed real quick)
