Can a bt keyboard + a bt mouse work at the same time? - Galaxy Tab 8.9 Accessories

I was planning to buy the original Samsung cover with the bluetooth keyboard integrated and since the optimal usage is to pair a bluetootht mouse I was wondering whether they can connect and work at the same time with the tab...

Yes of course.
I use the BT keyboard and BT mouse build by Motorola for his tablet and the both works fine at the same time.
But, I think the device need the BT protocol >2.0

I have a dinovo mini that has a touch pad and keyboard and both works like a charm, you get a mouse pointer and the keyboard works without any apps or stuff. Perfect for using your tab as a computer or media station

[Q] BT mouse deactivates the Xoom keyboard

I've updated to 3.1 and tried using my MoGo X54 BT mouse which I was able to pair with my Xoom but once activated it apparently deactivates the keyboard. Has anyone figured out how to use the keyboard without having to turn off the mouse.

pretty sure the current BT stack doesnt support external hardware yet...wiimotes and ps3 controllers dont work either, but the m100 (or something) gamepad does work, but its optimized for mobile phones

Are you sure? I've seen some video with the Sensation being paired with a Bluetooth keyboard to play N64 games.
Here it is.

Just tested my HTC Sensation with my Logitech M555b Bluetooth mouse and it worked as I expected, I found that I had to un-pair it and re-connect it a second time before it would connect, you can move left or right when view the home screen, however once in Opera you get the pointer icon which lets you click links, zoom in but wont let you choose Opera menus at the bottom of the screen, all you get any where else is the selected item highlighted in green.
any news ??

Any bluetooth (NOT Wireless but Bluetooth) mouse or keyboard will work with the Sensation as long as its not Cyanogen or MIUI ROM.
I have MHL adapter, Logitech mouse and keyboard and work this way via remote desktop app. Its just as good as any desktop but its in my pocket!
Hi A4ol,
Which remote desktop application are you using?
I'm planning to setup my phone the same as you.
Brgds
Would this also work with 2 Bluetooth controllers at the same time? Playing a 2 player game?

[Q] Bluetooth + Wifi

Is anyone successfully using a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and Wifi simultaneously?
If I have a keyboard and mouse paired and a WiFi connection, the keyboard starts repeating keys and the mouse gets laggy. If I disconnect the WiFi, the keyboard and mouse start behaving. If I only pair one Bluetooth device, and connect the WiFi, it works fine.
I've tried the Logitech and Belkin keyboards and MS and HP mice. Similar results for all combinations, but the Logitech + MS are the least bad.
Help!

My note is on stock firmware and not rooted. I have no problems using 4 BT devices (keyboard, mouse, speaker and Samsung HM 5000 thin stick headset) simultaneously while maintaining my WIFI connection. I do have the WIFI settings on mr router fixed to channel 6 rather than auto. The issue could be with your router. I'd suggest you do some Google searches on BT interference on the make and model of your router. If that router has known issues, you may also find some suggested work arounds. Good luck.

Bluetooth Keyboard & Mouse makes Fire 7 a small android touchscreen notebook

I paired a bluetooth keyboard and bluetooth mouse with my Fire 7 (rooted with Nexus ROM loaded). It now works like a small android touchscreen notebook.
I am using a Logitech Bluetooth Multi-Device Keyboard (K480) and a Microsoft Bluetooth Sculpt Touch Mouse.
You don't need to touch the screen, unless you want to. The mouse performs all touch and drag functions. All of the screen touch functions still work (except the on-screen keyboard does not appear as the bluetooth keyboard takes over).
When using a bluetooth mouse alone, the on-screen keyboard no longer appears. So you should use a bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard in combination.
This turns the Fire 7 into a touchscreen android laptop. It works in portrait or landscape mode.
When you turn off bluetooth on either the tablet or the mouse and keyboard, the tablet returns to normal operation.
I have also used other brands of bluetooth mice and bluetooth keyboards on the Fire 7, bluetooth 3.0 & 4.0. They all seemed to work well.
If you have a bluetooth mouse and bluetooth keyboard laying around, pair it up with the Fire 7 and you will have a $50 notebook.
Rooted mine and running CM 12. Bluetooth headphones and 8bitdo controller and I have a super Nintendo.
