I realy don`t know what to do...
I have a Treo 750v, it was spanish version, I wanted the english version, so I did everything that I found here to do it right, but, wen i try to flash any WM6rom even the original from Palm.
I`m stuck in the bootloader, when flashing it just doesn`t pass the extrom(with sdcard), or blocks in the midle of OS, so I did it with the KaiserCustomRUU.exe and it blocks in 17% "ERROR [226]:FLASH WRITE".
i have the latest radio update, and the SPL-1.40.oliNex...
so what should I do...
please post any ideas...
it is recognised on my computer, but doesn`t sincronise with activsync...
try the palm recovery rom, available for dl from palm site
mb
thanks, but I`ve done it already...
It said it`s complete, but my treo stays stuck.
If you have any other ideas please post.
Have you tried to flash using the SD method?
Clear the temp directory. (to find out which one go Start\Run and type cmd. At the prompt type set and look in the list for the temp directory.)
Launch the installer. When you are presented with the program window go to the temp directory. This is where you will find the place where the installer created it's files; this is where you will find files named .NBH
Take the largest .nbh file maybe around 50-80mb and copy to a formated (fat32) sd card.
Rename the file to CHEEIMG.nbh.
After you put the card back in the phone, reset it and it will start the installation process.
Post back with any issues.
thanks, but yes...
it stuks in extrom, or if the CHEEIMG.nbh only does have the OS, it get stuck in the midle and an error is showed on screen...

can you get mtty to connect over USB?
after the load from SD, the screen shows:
" 00018003
CHEEIMG.nbh - FAIL
SPLASH1 - OK
BOOTLOADER - OK
GSM - OK
MicroP - OK
EXTROM - Fail
OS -
Update Terminate
UPDATE FAIL"
This with extracted CHEEIMG_FW.nbg, renamed to CHEEIMG.nbh from the treo750_2_23_ROW_en_desktopupdater.exe
any ideas left to solution?
thanks in advance
I`m sorry (for my ignorance) but i don`t know what "mtty" means...
but if you are asking if I can conect my treo over usb, the answer is, Yes i can

try this;
1) disconnect usb cable
2) in activesync deselect usb connection (see pic as1.png)
3) connect usb cable
4) reset while holding left media button
5) start mtty (attached) and select USB (see pic as2.png)
6) select ok and press enter a couple of times, you should get a console prompt like pic as3.png)
does this work? do you get a console prompt? if so let me know then we can move on to the next and last step
mb
yes i get a console prompt...

mb
ps. between set and 14 and 0 = 1 space
Cmd>task 28
Storage format start

any other ideas?
task 0 is just reboot, so you can reset now, see if you can succesfull flash a new rom now, can recommend the SD procedure
btw i added you in msn messenger
greetz

Cmd>task 28
Storage format start
Write Nand Success
dwBlockToWrite = 13
Storage start block: 407
Storage Total block: 537
Total Bad Block in CE: 0
NeedToEraseBlockStart: 420
NeedToEraseBlockEnd: 944
Storage format success
so I suspect your DOC (Disk on Chip)is defect
I will try it again, and leave it alone for some hours, to see what happens...
let`s see...
I still have some hope

I have a Motorola Moto X 2nd Generation. I had purchased it from another person and I was unaware that it had a screenlock on it. So in order to get into the phone I tried to preform a hard reset on the phone. However, the phone had been rooted and had a custom ROM installed onto it as well as the fact that the bootloader is unlocked. When I tried to hard reset it it was giving me trouble so I went into the recovery option which took me to TEAM WIN RECOVERY OPTION and I mistakenly wiped the entire contents of the phone. Litteraly every file. So I am trying to get my phone to work again by trying to reinstall the files on the phone. My laptop will recogonize the device however whenever we try to get the phone to accept the files according to the instructions on the MOTOROLA website this is the message we are getting in the command prompt screen

i cannot get past this step. I think i may have deleted a vital piece that makes it possible to for the phone to accept the zip files and install them.
Is there a way to get my phone working again and what are the steps to make it possible.. I am just begining to learn how to do all this and am not quite sure of what I was and am doing. PLease help I was unaware of what I was actually doing when i wiped the phone.

Doogee dg310 failed attempt of bypassing PIE
Hello people
So here's the situation -
A week ago I got a new Doogee dg310 with 8GB of internal storage, as I learned very quickly it was acctually 4GB of storage from which only 2 were for apps. naturally i've started to look foe a way of forcing the apps to the SD card and even succeeded after rooting with 'KingRoot' and using 'Link2SD'.
When I tried to make partitions on the SD card in order to not only move apps to SD but to link them too, I've learned to know that I need first to bypass PIE. Unfortunately at that stage someone took my brains out, I haven't really followed the guide and changed the name of the file 'Linker' (under /system/bin) to 'Linker.old' without the ability of replacing it with another file. A few moments after the phone shut down and booted into recovery mode.
Here's some of the things i've tried:
- Factory reset: hasn't changed a thing.
- Removing cache: hasn't changed a thing.
- ADB: the comp is recognizing the device but other then 'ADB Devices' every command I try ('adb usb', 'adb kill-server' act. included) are returning 'error: closed'.
- Fastboot:
* Both 'TWRP' and 'CWM' flushed into the device but it didn't boot them up.
* When I tried to update Android I got an 'data.sig, recovery.sig are missing' error (it didn't stuck for a few minutes and the continued as described in few forums, it finished the process after the error) - this happened with few versions of the update.
- When I try to update from the SD card with a file from the manufacturers site it started a process but ended after few seconds without any explanation.
I don't have any backup as you understand, and after spending so much time on trying to fix it it would be a shame to go to a store to fix it. Doe's anyone has a clue??
THX anyway
In addition
I've tried downloading MTK and update its ADB in order to downgrade mt device but the MTK didn't recognize the device eve though 'adb devices' command has/
Hello guys,
I wiped my internal storage yesterday and I've lost all my images and files (I don't have any cloud of any type google drive etc)
I Still have a TWRP on my phone ...I don't want to install anything in it but to recover the files. f I install anything ....the files will be totally wiped because new files will be on their space.
a) Is there anyway that I can connect my phone to a PC (Windows/Linux) as a Mass Storage Device and do a low level scan on the internal memory (Because the phone connects only as MTP )
b) Is there a way to create a bit by bit image of what's inside the memory into an image file (Bin,ISO) and then check the file with recovering software on my pc
I've already tried Diskdigger and Dr.phone who didn't find a lot of photos (10 of 1000 that I used to have)
Please if anyone know a way... pleeeeeeease give me a clue/hand!
I know that the thing that I did was totally idiotic/silly ...so there is replying about that.
Thank you !

Mabye give that a try when you are familliar with the command line. Sounds quite well
https://dflund.se/~jokke/androidfilerecovery/
If you have root access or at least a recovery installed you can also try this:
I assume you use linux
1) you need adb installed on your pc. Using ubuntu 16.04 simply type in terminal
Code:
sudo apt install adb
or on an older version
Code:
sudo apt install android-tools-adb
2) Identify the partition where "your internal storage is"
Use
Code:
adb shell cat /proc/partitions
You will see a long list of partitions. In the third column you see the size of the partitions, the biggest one should be the internal storage. (in my case mmcblk0p28, but can be different)
3) Backup the partition to pc using the dd tool
Now run
Code:
adb shell su -c "dd if=/dev/block/<your-partition-name>" > storage.img
You won't see any progress bar, just wait until it's finished.
Now you should see a file called storage.img in your current working directory.
4) Simply mount the image on pc and use any recovery tool you want. (e.g. foremost or testdisk)

Hi there just show the reply...
Thank you very much for the reply....and that is the thing I did by the way...but apparently it wiped a lot of things in my phone (not only the initial sectors where all the names are kept) and I couldn't recover anything
Thank you though...
i have huawei g6 u00 locked bootloader with stock rom , rooted with busybox and the phone shows the famous "user data partition has crashed" this is the result of corrupt partitions /data and /cache....
what have i tried so far:
i managed to install busybox with parted but when i touch the cache partition the system went lockdown and become read only system....
i manged to make calls with adb but every time i use mmi code there is an error...
almost every change revert back excpet installed busybox..
i can temporally with root genius and tried e2fsck partitions but due to bad magic block failed to repair.
update with hisuite cannot be done becuase i have the last firmware
update with external sdcard dload or adb also failed
format factory trough recovery failed mount /cache and /data
bootloader locked so right now fastboot out of question
i even tried mount external partition as /data and /cache just to make phone reboot...
have a look at this http://www.dotandroid.com/android-root-guides/unbrick-qualcomm-mobiles/
it's looks good but my phone isn't realy hard breaked so i can't go "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008" mode should i make it break?
other than that i have searched soulotion Thoroughly in xda, google and even facebook group but no results.
right now i search for:
1)open the bootloader (for free without charge).
i have tried the offical way but it got the message "Log in your Huawei ID for continuously 14 days on your phone which you need to
unlock" but obviously i cant do that because the phone almost dead...
Furthermore even to get the product id i was forced to use id generator because when i use something like{ adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.CALL -d tel:*#*#1357946#*#*} give me mmi error
i have even tried this https://forum.xda-developers.com/ascend-g6/general/huawei-ascend-g4-4g-l-11-instant-t3190617 but maybe because i can't dial *#*#2846579#*#* i cant do it...
so if you know free unoffical way to open the bootloader which doesn't require dialing it will be big help.
btw if my details are(from the back of the phone):
serial number:H2QDU14902006527
imei:357485036189548
maybe someone know how to magically extract the code from hauwei?
2)temporarily fix
because i need the bootloader code maybe i can copy somefiles to the temp system and make the phone at least browse to hauewi website?
3)last resort-run the system from external sd card
like https://forum.xda-developers.com/transformer-tf701/help/dead-mmc-ideas-t2830332/page2 {look for post #17 by lexelby}
lexelby managed to extract macallan.fstab from boot.img i have used ife134.exe and ext4 unpacker and got nothin... but even if i did get somethi ng i don't know how to modify macallan.fstab so please explain how to do this.i also suspect that with stock rom and locked bootloader this option is also blocked...
thanks
