I am using ungaze script to increase memory right now. Just download the zip files and place them accordingly from the link below. It makes your ext partition your internal memory.

Download ungaze.zip
Download root explorer
Extract both files using root explorer, they will go to sd card/extracted
copy files and paste them like this
02ungaze_init -> /system/etc/init.d ,
busybox_d2sd -> /system/xbin,
and e2fsck -> /system/bin
Hold each after pasting to see the options
Go to permissions and change as shown in the link in previous post.
Do this after a clean flashof rom and backup all your data too.
thanx
i will try this.

If not give links to custom kernels for stock rom.

Stock kernel won't work. You can try Cranium (I'd suggest rel #2, #3 has a bug in it which prevents native apps2SD working; not much of an issue when using an unofficial a2sd script like ungaze, but still, it's a bug and #2 has no such bug): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632895 or the 800MHz kernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427307 or Titanium: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28422244 or AteeqKernel: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28422244
I have yet to try any of them, but Cranium seems to be held in high regard by many on stock or stock-based ROMs. I intend on installing it soon for the purpose of an apps2SD script.
I used the ungaze script on nextget v1_3 but strict in boot loop .
So can anyone tell me run the script without any errors.

Hi, can someone help me please. M2SD cannot link sd-ext/dalvik cache to data/dalvik-cache. What seems to be the problem?
Specs:
HTC Explorer
JaggyRom4.1
Probably no space in /data
Use diskusage app to determine whether you have enough space.
There should be log in /data /m2sd...
Post it here.
If you're using mount2SD app, enable debug in app and post log screenshots Good bye :thumbup:

Mention what ROM are you using? And check if its supports memory script.. i.e. busybox & init.d??
And in case, it doesn't support then you cannot use any mem script...
So, tell what ROM it is. Then we may find the actual reason... and then the solution..
Press THANKS if it helped!!:good:

Sorry for the late reply.. but I think jaggy Rom already has a mount2SD script.. so you may not be able to use mount2SD again
After fresh install, delete all file's in /etc /init.d.. and then install mount2SD. May help
Also simple wiping cache and dalvik cache from recovery will help

I think just flashing the m2sd(no config needed ) solve the problem because it clears all other scripts before it setting the memory script

What problem?
Hey guys, I managed to port a ROM, but the issue is that the ROM's too large and gives a status 7 error when I flash it in recovery. I deleted all the extra apks and audio files, even the bootanimation, but the ROM is a bit larger than our system partition. I would like to ask how I can embed the memory script that I can install system apps to the SD-ext.

and just compress the folders
or just open the .zip file and drag the script in folder
and copy it to sd card and flash the rom

no
no need to do that
just put it in init.d folder and flash the rom
as i know this script makes sd-ext to behave as system partition and system as sd-ext partition
so your internal memory=memory of sd-ext partition

THIS IS A OTA UPDATE ZIP FOR Pico_hTC_Asia_India_1.10.720.1 to 1.31.720.3-1.13.720.4_release_230853
I got this update while downloading an upgrade for hTC pico stock rom link given in @immortal_yash thread Stock Rom with EXT2/3/4 file system support
When I tried to upgrade it failed and stuck on CWM recovery menu and I reinstalled fresh ROM.
My purpose of posting this thread with upgrade package is a request to DEVELOPERS if it is possible please modify this update zip so we can flash it on a rooted rom like Immortal_yash bro provided in his thread.
Download link google drive
This update pack has some interesting new feature including system wide hindi and other local language support.
It will also upgrade firmware to 1.13.720.4.
And also an optimize storage option under storage menu
AFAI remember, i was the one who posted this OTA!

Actually I have used link2sd in my previous stock rom. some times it causes linking problems and also large number of files remain in system despite using link2sd that cause instbility in apps and also low memory.
So I want init.d support in the stock rom. mount2sd or int2ext works great on CM roms that I am using in my phone. I tried many tricks available here and in market to bring init.d support in stock but failed.
I request you and other developers.....make init.d support...it would be grateful to me and many other users.
