When I mount my phone, it gives me only my external SD card. But I want to mount my internet SD card. Because I want to flash cm9.
Anyone know how to mount internal SD?

Oh...Well My external SD card 1 was a FAT32 system. Couldnt mount on Clockworkmod, I used my SD card2 with FAT system and it worked(But ran out of space when backing up..). Tried using my SDcard1 and it couldnt create a path for nandroid. So basically my SDcard1 is corrupted :\

I'm new to Android and I cant seem to find anything specifically matching the issue I'm having.
I have a Captivate I897 and on the stock software I was able to browse to the external SD card within /sdcard (/sdcard/sd-ext). /sdcard is my internal storage.
After installing CM7 I'm no longer able to see the external sd card from within /sdcard. I'm able to browse to the root and get to my external card here /emmc or here /mnt/emmc.
It doesn't look like I'm able to create a link and I'd really like to access the external card from within the internal storage mount /sdcard. Any help would be most appreciated!
Just create a softlink there.

Has anyone else experienced problems copying files from the SD card to internal SD or MicroSD? I receive an "insufficeint space" error, even though there is plenty of space available. I can copy the same file from MicroSD to internal SD with no problems, I can copy the same file from MicroSD to SD with no problems. Running Revolver 311 now, had same issue on Krackd 142. Thanks in advance for your help...
I think I'm a little lost with the description... If the internal SD is the internal storage of the TF and the MicroSD is the external storage, how do you connect the other SD?
If its via dock, do you know where does it mount it?

Yes, it's the sd card that goees into the dock. This is my understanding of the mounts:
/mnt/sdcard = internal storage
/Removable/MicroSD = micro sd card in the tablet itself
/Removable/SD = Full size sd card in the dock (this is the one I have trouble copying from)
Thanks for you help, I'm going to assume it was a corrupt file or files. I was able to copy a different file successfully as well as move a folder off the SD card. I'm going to reformat card and copy files from PC to card and then try and copy again and see if I get any issues. I didn't think about corrupt files before because thay were video files and they played just fine.
OK, so today I decide to root my LG G2X and install cynanogenmod 7 nightly build.
After, it install, I decide to restore my back up data but when I open Linda File manager, it only mount external sd card. So, I went to cynanogenmod setting and use internal storage. When I reboot the phone, now it only mounting the internal sd card not external sd card.
So, my question is it is possible to mount both internal and external sd card in cynanogenmod 7 nightly build? For example, use internal card as a location for apps installation and use external as media storage.
I'm using the rom in the link below called Synergry ROM for my Verizon Galaxy S3 and I can't seem to format my 64gig micro SD card I purchased for Christmas. The only option I have is to mount the drive but every time I mount the drive, it just says that the card is safe to remove. Any suggestions?
My actions are settings>storage>mount SD card. There is no option to format SD card or to unmount the SD card.

Need to Google guiformat and format it to Fat32 on PC. Phone and recoveries will be able to see it. Only drawback is file size is limited to 4GB so movies must be compressed or loaded on Internal.
Hello, I got the app called Link2SD app which allows you to move apps to your external sd card. However, when I tried to move apps to SD card, it says that there was no second partitionn in my sd card and my external storage is emulated by the internal storage. What that means? Also, I went to recovery mode to try to partition the external sd card, it shows me ext size (128M, 256M, 512M, 1024M, 2048M, 4096M). What that sizes actually mean? Thanks.
