Q: Flashed rom but does boot or get past the HTC splash screen.
A: make sure you pushed the boot.img in fastboot or use flash image gui before flashing the rom.
Q: My paid application (ex Swype, Swiftkey, Beautiful Widgets) is not there/set by default after a reboot.
A: This is a known Jellybean problem.
Q: Got wakelocks?
A: Stop using Facebook and Google Maps. Facebook especially sucks
Q: No LTE?
A: Go to network Settings and make sure LTE is on.
Q: My signal strength says 4G. Why is there no LTE?
A: E=Edge, 3G = UMTS, H = HSPA/HSPA+, 4G = LTE.
Q: I can't access ADB / USB Mass Storage / etc!
A: AOSP roms require a different driver. Read here.

No way dude, trying this right away! Great to see you here on the AOSP side.
EDIT:
As far as "known issues" go, are we to assume that they'd be aligned with CM10?
Also, purely out of curiosity and cause of experiencing your other ROMs, will you be using AROMA to make components of this one customizable? Or does that become a bit*h with CM?

i was going to do aroma, im still thinking about it and it shouldn't have any affect on Cm10 or any other aosp rom for that matter. I just dont know what options to add besides launchers for now.
I can't keep up with CM10 and AOKP as it is with my theme. Now you've gone and done it! LOL. Great to see an aosp rom of yours. I switched to CM and haven't gone back to Sense since. <----Never thought I'd say that. =)
Great Job!

I NEVER liked the stock Android look and ALWAYS preferred the custom manufacturer skins, but that was before I tried JB. I don't know what it is about it. It's pretty much the same (look) as it was in ICS.
And the developer of the year goes to!
Man you've been pooping out some AWESOME roms. And quite a bit too. Thank you for your efforts!
But on to this ROM, its fantastic. Super smooth, esp with lotion.. I love aosp, but the camera quality sucked too much so I kept going back to sense roms. For some reason, camera on this rom is crisp and clear. And I'm sure its the same as on aokp and cm10. I dunno but I can tell a big difference. This will definitely be my daily. Awesome work bro

Great! Thank you for your hard work!
Yessssss! Finally an aosp ROM with sound mods I can implement! Thanks X!
Sent from my One X using xda app-developers app
Great looking ROM can't wait to try!
Just curious....I saw you mentioned a possible Sense 4.5 port in another thread....is that still in the works?
Great ROM Xs. Glad to see it show up on XDA! I've been enjoying it since release.

Boom!! First run on antutu with this rom, using on demand! Not too shabby

The major work has been done by LorD ClockaN, dh.harald, Twistedumbrella and Shaky153, m-deejay. Although this build is still in Beta stage but in my opinion it’s good enough to use as a daily driver, as it’s pretty fast. My builds include tinny audio fix for inspire 4G as well !

I think you should just start from scratch with another build and not use what sharky started. Then he has no say in it.

well for what, i would just fell into system ui erros cause shaky dont want to tell us how to fix it and it would take again weeks to figure all things out. i in the moment i am just frustrated what happend to this community.
however i will continue working on it when the source code come or the first htc device with ics....
Wouldn't it better to help each other than start a new thread with shakys work?

I agree that getting past the system UI errors would be a major hurdle to overcome but with talented devs working together instead against each other, the ICS project would not be quite as difficult.

Capy, not sure if you read other thread, I'm going to assume you did since you refer to shakys work but there were shades of recent problems you experienced with one side v other and accusations being thrown. All I'll say. Damm shame to see. Guess I'll be spending more time on Twitter and acs... Really wasn't very pretty from a group that's supposed to be helping each other.

Yup, but Shaky didn't want to work together. He put up a build for others to work on, but when asked HOW he fixed things so that people could go about it themselves, he couldn't/didn't answer. Him just doing things and posting builds isn't really helping, without documentation. Especially for people with other devices, who could use a clue about what he did for their own devices. It's just frustrating. That, and his thread is locked at his request, lol.

well the other 2 posts after yours will answer your - my feeling...
yes, i saw the last pages in the other thread. and i must say i am no way surprised.
when i read on this forums people talking about "their work" and talking about "permissions to use" i am undecided if to lough or cry. i wonder if any of those has asked google, htc etc. for their permission to hack their "work".
on xda are some "devs" and many peeps that only want to show off. can't speak for the other device subforums but the two fractions here are quite visible
oh and not to forget the ones that only pretend being "open" to even impress by their false openness.
I have a base build that isn't his, but rather the one I posted a while back. I can fix it for this phone and if he claims any responsibility he will have to go against someone who can document every change made and every file swapped. I will post shortly.

Tablet ui is pretty awesome in this ROM only thing is that the grid on the home screen is off a bit and the apps are proportioned slightly off the grid causing apps to be in 2 screens at once. Otherwise great ROM man!

That is because the launcher needs to worked on for portrait mode, flip it sideways and it fits just right but in portrait it acts as if its still in landscape

Thanks ! It is also why it is in a beta stage
It is pretty hard to fix because in 'Portrait', we need more rows then column and in landscape it needs more column then rows. So yeah when we rotate, unless the grid is the same for both, the icon wont be at the same place :/ It might even be out of the screen. And also, if I set the grid to be the same in landscape then portrait, the grid can't be really big and it makes huge space between icon witch is ugly
I've much work to do on the launcher, I need to figure out something
Was hoping there was something new to flash thanks!

Seems to me we would need something like horizontal padding in portrait and switching to vertical padding in landscape. It might keep thing in perspective? The trick is to keep the work area square so widgets and such don't get stretched or cut off. Just an observation.
Testing for stability is definitely required

Yeah but it would looks bad if it would be a square no ? If you wanna test out things easily, download any launcher like Apex Launcher, Holo Launcher HD or Nova Launcher and have fun playing the grid size If you find anything perfect, tell me wich launcher and what size and I will take a look

I can confirm Bluetooth is working. HDMI is not, but my TV can recognize that something is connected unlike the other CM10 roms, it just never mirrors to the display.
Love it anyway. Phablet UI is amazing.

I love this rom!
I install the pimpmyrom tweaks and install oc of mm and I use the cpu max in 850 and min in 300 with interactivex and change de vsel (with motomizer) to 40 for 850mhz and 18 for 300mhz and the baterry during 24hs or more.
Great Job and really like this rom, mm, cm10, but i need a good camera, is very important, so I back to ics ever.
I hope us make a stable rom soon. I support us and when need a tester call me.
Sorry for my english

Thanks a lot for creating this ROM. I've been monitoring this forum to see new versions and there is a brand new one. My only concern from your list of things that need to be fixed is battery life. I've been on Wang's CM10 till now and battery life is great. I hope to see updates with fixes :cyclops:

Tips
For status bar transparency to work you have to have a default launcher selected. This is what I experinced using Nova and the Stock Launcher.
Tablet UI Mode: If you want the Nav Bar/Status Bar to have vertically centered notification icons DO NOT adjust the Height of the Nav Bar.
When you enter Tablet UI(and select it) you should have not changed the Nav Bar Height. That is the only way it will look and stay vertically centered.
You may be able to changed it in Phablet UI, put it back to 48 dpi, then select Tablet UI, and reboot to enter Tablet UI. This may work I have not tried it yet.

I would do a full wipe, but you can try with just a caches wiped and see how it goes. Don't forget to backup before the full wipe.
I do recommend a full wipe though.
Nice ROM. I like the aroma installer. But....still no true Tablet UI....meaning the docked icons stay in vertical mode on the right hand of the screen rather than moving to the bottom. I also miss the dual pane.
Now, if I could talk you into porting this to the i717

The nav bar starts at 48 dpi(largest) and then can only be made smaller. Do you really think yours needs to be made bigger, 48 dpi nav bar is pretty tall? I use 36 dpi on phablet, and 40-44 on tablet, but the nav bar buttons are not resizing in tablet mode, this is an AOKP bug. So I recommend leaving it at 48 dpi in tablet mode if you choose to use it.

I can live with it, was used to seeing it bigger. I tried installing the theme that come with and didnt work said system ui stopped working. I always clean flash when installing roms. But im loving the kingbeatz sounds awesome with my beats headphones. Also which kernel do you recommend for maximum battery life? Installed franco's and seems pretty good so far. Thanks again for an amazing rom.

Onc again I ran into spinning page while holding down an icon. Have had happen before with this class of ROM. Really wish I could see it work, sounds like it has some great features. Also, I have found some ROMs and kernel combos just do not play with my grouper very well.

The AlloyUI theme DOES NOT WORK in Tablet UI. I just found out about this bug, not sure why it is happening though. Added to OP.
As for a kernel with good battery life either LeanKernel v1.2, it is an aroma option, flash with only the caches wiped, choose options wanted, and flash. Or I hear Franco has good battery life also. Sorry I couldn't be more help, I don't test battery life on my tablet too much, if ever.
EDIT: 100 Downloads in 10 hours! Thanks for all the support!
Releases will come every 1-2 days.
Enjoy Dirty AOKP!
Awesome work. BTW..for 4.2.1, the integer for af.resampler.quality should be 34 not 3. Its different from 4.1.2.

Does this have the "popping" coming from the speakers as the other GEs? I can manage not having a keyboard on first boot, but those random popping\clicking sounds drove me mad.

I've got the popping also. Happens after EVERY single sound. It happens 3 seconds after every click sound I make with the keyboard etc. I've mentioned it on the original GE thread twice. Nothing. IM NOT ALONE! YAY

before you install this rom, download the keyboard apk on your phone and install it when you are done flashing this rom.
Does this ROM still suffer from the video recording issue where the front mic is the only one that picks up audio?
