I rooted my HTC Hero and then installed cyanogen 6.1,now i have no access to the android market. Is there a workaround or a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Maybe sounds stupid but your phone is logging to google talk ??
If not solve this problem than market will work. At me at least that was the problem after I rooted my Huawei Ideos
Cyanogen roms dont have Google apps, if thats what your asking, try installing Gapps, you could google that or look in the thread, otherwise just follow the post above me's advice
I installed the google app pack for cyanogen, got the market back, but its the old interface. Had the new one before root, will it come back? Or am i stuck with the old one? Either way,its better than no market! lol

Hello all
I was wondering if anyone could provide me a copy of Google Search apk for Gingerbread (Last updated version). If you are active user, you know Google Search on Play Store is now only for Jelly Bean.
I was on a Jelly Bean ROM but I came back to stock since I'll be switching my phone in a few months anyway..
Thanks in advance!
I just updated to the 4.2 firmware and now I noticed that browser2ram has stopped working. I tried reinstalling it etc...but it just wouldn't work anymore. I'm guessing it has to do with the infrastructure on the new 4.2. Has anyone gotten browser2ram to work on 4.2? if so please help. Thanks in advance!
We already have a thread on this - use the search function.
Apologies if this has already been covered, search is currently offline/disabled, so I could only search XDA using Google and didn't find anything.
I'm running the stock Jelly Bean ROM (4.1.2) DeODEX'd with a few little tweaks, nothing big.
I was checking out the Xposed Framework project ( read here ) and wondering if anyone knows if it's compatible with the stock'ish Photon Q 4G ROM?
If someone is able to confirm/deny it would save the time of backing up, flashing/installing, then having to restore back if it isn't.
Thanks in advance.:good:
I haven't tried it myself, but it should work on any device.
Just be sure you take that backup so you can restore...

Looks like it in all likelihood works fine, so I'll probably give it a shot this evening after work.
As an update, the framework installs fine, no issues at all. Some of the modules available work, some are exclusive to HTC or Samsung devices, so unfortunately those are a no go.
