There's really only way to find out.
A lot of times you can get a exteneded battery that is a little bigger than stock that is the same size. The One X battery might fit, it's only 150mAh bigger.

I would guess it doesn't fit/work.
Why would HTC bother using 2 different batteries if they could use 1. Having to source more different parts is never a Good Thing in manufacturing.

Why? The same reason they left out NFC in the One S, Also the One X has a bigger screen so it needs a little more juice to get the same battery life.

I know this thread is a few days old now, but thought I might have a little insight. Back when the Evo and Incredible came out (very similar relationship to One X / One S) the Evo standard battery WAS the Incredible extended battery. Same part number and everything, and they were exactly the same physical size! So I'm not promising the One X battery will work, but there's definitely a good shot.

The current 1650mAh battery looks pretty big, so that 1800mAh may actually fit. The work needed to open the case seems to much to replace a battery.

is it 1650MAH?

theres nobody who can tell if the HTC One X battery fits into the One S?
If that is the case, the battery of the One X+ should also fit and has 2100mAh!!

honestly, for just a 1800 mAh it's not even worth the disassemble, I'd do it for the one x+ battery though

i would say it's not possible. the connector for the One X is on the left side the One S is right. altough the battery seems a bit bigger (what I've seen in videos)

you are right about the connector

the battery in the pictures on the site (see OP) does not look like it has any notches or cutouts indicating direction of installation (it looks like a square more or less) and could probably be installed upside down, allowing for the fact that the connector of the X and S are on different sides, but you would have to twist the wires over so that the connection could be made, and I am not sure that they have that much give...

honestly, getting a portable charger isn't that bad.. they hold at least one charge and are pretty small in size.
even if ONE S has a bigger battery, it certainly wont hold more then 2000mAh, and probably cause the same as a 3000-4000mAh portable charger.

bought a 1800mah from eBay.took me 15mins to install it and its working no problem. Just have to flip the battery around so the side with the logo and writing is facing the inside. All the wires match up exactly.
Took this pics with my tablet,, sorry for the quality.

The nexus extended will work. It may bulge a bit, though. I trimmed a tiny bit of the plastic off and it fits fine. Some work with no modification.

Battery
I just got the Nexus battery about three weeks ago. The cover is tight going on and needs to be maneuvered on properly, but for me, there is no bulge. It works great and you can tell it is a higher capacity battery just from the additional length of time it takes to recharge over the stock battery.
I am attached to a charger most of the day, but will be giving it a good, hard work out when on vacation next month.
Looks like i'm going to buying this then, thanks guys. For those of you that have bought it, what were the time differences between battery length? I'm currently on SKYICS rom and with heavy use and lot of things frozen i get to 10pm with about 10%. I'm hoping i'll have 25% with this new battery.
Also being that this is an NFC battery, would that functionality still work when its finally launched??

Do you think this would work with an Otterbox Commuter Case?

I have an OtterBox, currently replaced tho with a Case Mate. I also have the extended battery. I haven't even used the extended battery, however I will be this weekend. Anyways, to answer your question, I briefly popped the battery in right after I bought it. As others said, there may be a slight bulge, however i'm fairly certain a case would work just fine with it.

Thanks for the info.
I'm using the Nexus battery with the commuter case and it fits just fine
Is the increase in battery life enough to justify the cost of the battery?

Do you really think this company has found a way to fit more mah in a battery than Samsung who earns billions of dollars in profit. I got the andida battery and don't notice much of a difference. I think any difference you may see is just the placebo affect.

Yeah, it doesn't get any better even if those junk ass generic batteries say they have more mah. They really don't, and they don't last as long as OEM.
OEM is better, don't waste your time and money on ****ty generic batteries.

[Q] Htc One X battery for sensation

Hi
Does anybody know whether Htc One X 1800 Mah battery fits to sensation.
If it works, taht would be good
Thanks
I think the One X is connected differently.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio Z715e using Tapatalk 2
It can easily work, in theory, but you'd probably have to run wires to it, so your phone would look frankensteined.
I have done the oposite. HTC sensation battery is thicker but one X battery is bigger
Do you want to buy a complete One X and break it?
The One X battery is integrated and cannot be remove. This is why you cannot buy it from HTC.
Take an Anker 1900mAh and you´ll be cheaper

Takes less than 15min to replace a battery from sensation, one from sony xperia fits perfect only has 3 pins instead of 4 and didnt checked voltage yet. HTC is 3.7v

I'd advise caution when using batteries that were not made for the sensation. In fact, I just wouldnt do it...

Long as it's about the same voltage and it's connected right, it'll work fine.
There's also a small issue of thermal sensors which should keep the battery from exploding. If your battery gets heat up and you did manage only the voltage part you might just melt your precocious sensation. And you ear.
Jonny's right. It's not worth it.

Why combine? Buy Anker 1900mA, it will be better choise.

3500mAh Backup Pack Battery

Hi guys . What can you say this device ? Does anyone else bought ? What can I say? Is it worth taking ?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/3500mAh-Bac...438472?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item416744d508
Like how to approach a ONE X.
It can't fit both the X and XL since their dimensions are not the same.
I don't see anywhere they ask you to specify which model, which suggests to me that it's for the International version and the seller isn't aware they're not the same size.
holy cow that thing is fugly. Even the on/off switch on the bottom. I'd rather carry around a microusb power pack if I needed power that bad.

And at least with a microusb pack, you might actually get a true 3500mAh out of it.

I ordered this one, should be receiving it in a week or so. Wanted it for when I travel/snowboard.
I also ordered this external battery:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054U6CEE/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
since I wanted something small to carry around in my back pocket.
Man, I really miss having removable batteries in my Evo 3D. Super small, full charge, 10 second swap.
I'll post results eventually.

Don't buy it, I have confirmed that it is incompatible with S4 One X (One XL)
since the pogo pins location of Tegra 3 One X is different from S4 One X (One XL)!

Installed One X Battery

My phone has been having random reboots for a while now, I narrowed it down to a faulty battery but because id unlocked it don't think I can use the warranty.
After a bit of research I bought a One X battery from eBay, (1800 instead of 1650). Installation was quite easy with a small torx and small phillips and a case opener. Everything seems well so far, hoping the One X+ 2100ma battery is the same size
Sent from my HTC One S using Tapatalk 2
did it improve battery life? the battery is replacement or original?
did you have to adjustments to the battery since its different side connector?
Yeah, a little more detail, and some impressions would be nice. Links to what you bought, too.

theres a whole thread dedicated to the battery of the one x and onex+ fit in the one s.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888741&page=4
Its an HTC stamped battery from ebay, no idea if its genuine or not. No modification required, it just fits right in. As for performance, no idea as I never monitored it that closely, presumably I can expect a ~10% increase.

*Not worth it to relace the battery unless your battery is dying. You would get about 15% increase, I guess that's a matter of personal choice.
*Never seen anyone swap the front camera, not sure if you'd run into issues.
*The glass with HTC branding on it is part of the digitizer which cannot be removed while leaving the screen in tact so you would need to buy a whole new LCD.

Alright thanks for the info ill think about this all, i thought the Super lcd doesnt have the glass intact with lcd
Depends if you think it's worth the risk. Personally I wouldn't bother unless your battery is shot pretty much.
Unless you feel really comfortable opening up this phone & working on it
& from what I've read the glass & digitizer are attached and it's super sketch to try to separate them

Are there any other mods that can be done? I don't know about you, but I'd love a larger battery in the Evita, even if it is just a "15%" increase (I'm pretty sure others have reported higher gains than that). What about antenna mods or other camera mods or anything?
I doubt it. Trying to find a camera or antenna that's compatible will be virtually impossible.

Since the battery itself only has just shy of 15% extra capacity, I don't see how much more than that can be achieved... 15% is a realistic number. Anyone reporting more than 15% increase in battery life would be embellishing or not measuring accurately. IE: You would have to measure over a certain time with the exact same usage patterns over a week or so let's say. Since that is impossible, stating an exact percentage increase is also impossible. Hence.. 15%.
Front camera should be swappable... looks like it would be anyway.

Ok if u have the HTC One+ battery change it. 15% isn't very much but when u get without battery u wish to have that 15%. If u have the original digitizer and LCD don't even think to change it the digitizer(the glass part) it's suppose to be glue just in the corners but the factory one it's all glue toghether with the LCD if u try to separate them u will break your LCD BELIEVE ME I broke some of those ending on eBay buying new ones . The camera u can change don't know if anyone had try it but in your case I won't change it u won't tell the difference it's just .3mp just give a good clean with a swap to your actual 1.3 and u will work cristal clear. Good Luck
