Im using rom with cm9 and my music player is apolo and google music and i want to put on it beats audio.

i have snsation xe and i use opensensation rom but there is not beats audio
there is something like orginal beats

I downloaded it and in the aroma install i dont have the option to choose Beats audio I have only dolby srs and one more thing, why? how can i fix it ?

I press download bassmod and when i flash it i dont have the option Beats audio. so i marked only SRS how i activate the beats ?

ok guys here is a gift from me to you..
I made improvments in beats quality, many people already tested and confirmed that there is better sound quality and louder! this mode includes all sound options in htc music app (dolby,srs,equilazer) + crt animation is on, I attached here mode to remove crt animation for those of you who doesnt want it

flash it via recovery or ROM manager..and for now Dolby mobile is not working but the rest are working.
Will this work on a rom that doesn't have sense? I use the superlite rom on my XE but I have lost the beats audio functions.

No sound again in v2. Please put the prefix [S4] because this obviously does not work on the S3 version.

So I tried this on the new cm10 nightly and it works great, except it also stops my mic from working, meaning others can't hear me during phone calls and I cant use google voice. Is this because your mod only works on sense? Is there a way to use this on cm10 without sense?

This is an audio mod that i find as impresseive as acid audio and works on our devices 100%

Updated as of 4/20: now viper audio mod come with auto installation so no more worries about changing audioeffects.conf file or moving libs.
Installation isntructions for our gs3 phones:
1.download the preferred version of audio mod : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223
2. unzip file and copy mod apk to phone
3.install the apk and choose cortex A8 for fx and cortex for xhifi
This audio mod is safe to use and will not cause any kind of damage to our phones.
Those having trouble running this mod on synergy pm me so I can tell you the instructions.
Now this mod comes with convolver emulation!
This is not the same as audio manager dsp or beats emulation. This is far better!

Yes and I only tried with stock touchwiz rom. Its working on my gs3 with cleanrom 6r2 and viperfx is more for speakers because it has more setings for speakers like sorround sound and all that and xhifi has settings like song clarity and bass level but both can be used for speakers and headset

Wow, quite impressive! I just did a manual install over CleanROM 6R2 (with the Anthrax kernel) and the sound is fantastic. I only have the stock headphones to use, but the bass is deep and everything is clean, clear and not distorted.
One thing I noticed with AC!D and Beats is the bass gets completely blown out, at least with my setup. This makes it sound amazing!

Sorry, I should have clarified. This was installed over a stock CleanROM setup. I've had previous ROMs installed with various audio mods (like AC!D and Beats), but I didn't have those installed when I put on this Mod.

Oh ok and for those who have acid already installed and don't want to do a fresh install of a ROM to install this mod then I'm going to test and see if this mod is compatible with acid without the addons but so far only the acid clear audio+ add on is compatible with this mod and it gives an even more clean sound!
Update: it doesn't work with acid v7 but a new update is up and has convolver!

I use viper fx with the fire equializer all the toggles up and with the convolver on urei impulse hard and i can hear the mids and lows perfectly
I just switch to the viperfx I like that one better with the acid mod clearaudio+ add on. I will just toy with the settings to find good fit for me.

I exclusively use IEMs, so I am trying to install XHiFi.
Do I still follow the installation instructions in the OP of this thread?
The documentation that comes with XHiFi says that because I am on Android 4.2 that I may need to do the "Compatibility Setup," which is way more complicated than what the OP instructs.

That's what I thought. The read me file for the manual installation for 4.2 roms is a bit complicated. Requires a PC, which I won't have access to for the rest of the day.
Was hoping I wouldn't have to wait until tomorrow to try this out. Wanted it on my phone for a long flight tonight.

clearaudio+ dont work with v4a.
EDIT: pica, clearaudio+ dont work with any V4A, because we either use sound enhancement(clearaudio+ etc) or v4a.

the clear audio from acid from this zip http://d-h.st/ZKX does work and all i did was extract the apk from it and install it as a regular apk and it does work and it gives a little bit more clarity with viper fx and there is no need for sound enchantment.
Anyone know of a good app to boost the audio output of CM10.1? I've searched for Sony's XLoud, but with no luck.

Beats Audio have a crystal clear sound and good bass and DSP manager is good too but its just that DSP manager audio still have some bugs such as the compression which have a very loud,irritating noise whenever i switched to another song so far Beats Audio is quite stable here

So far it works on cm 10 but you can try installing it.Remove DSP manager and other equalizer then only install beats audio.
Importanto a backup first!!
Otherwise you might brick if you haven't remove dsp manager and other equalizer
