Decided to just impulse buy it.
The low activity is very inappropriate. People are sleepin on a GREAT platformer that's smooth, charming and addictive! I think I may give this some spotlight in my Featured Game area on XperiaPlayGamer.

Ok Xperia Play XDA, any must haves from these games?
All Kemco games are similar and they seem to be made with RPG Maker in a record time.
Just because an RPG isn't in 3D doesn't mean it's made in RPG Maker - or even in that quality tier. In fact, every one of these KEMCO games have more detail and depth than anything that could be made in RPG Maker.
At any rate, I own all of them, and this is what I think of them:
• Symphony of Eternity = Excellent game with a deep class system and quite a lot of polish, well deserving of it's high status.
• Alphadia = This game reminds me a lot of FF7 in the sense that it's only real flaw is being too damn easy. The music's nice, the storyline and graphics aren't bad...but up until the (freaking cheap as sin) final boss, this game's insultingly easy.
• Eve of the Genesis = It's got imbalance, insane dungeons and broken-ness at every corner. Something I can't quite understand though is that, despite being a broken game, this was actually very fun.
• Grinsia = Battle system needs to be a lot less static. Looks archaic even by the standards of a classic JRPG enthusiast. I personally haven't finished this one, but this is actually regarded as Kemco's best :\
• Aeon Avenger = Extremely linear, but that's seriously the only thing wrong with this game. The music, combat, cast and everything else was awesome. I was especially into the time traveling aspect and having a hero who's focused on murder and revenge was a nice change from all the whiny pretty-boys we usually get in RPGs.
• Dark Gate = I'll admit, I highly underestimated this game just because it doesn't "look" as good as other KEMCO games, but it's actually very deep, manages to topple Symphony of Eternity in it's class system, and offers a great challenge.
• Knight of Earthend = I don't think this one's on sale yet because it was just released... but I can say from just two hours of progress that this could very easily be better than Eternity, Alphadia, Grinsia, Aeon Avenger and Dark Gate.
Are these games turn-based or time-based? Turn based JRPG's are far too easy for my liking

Re: Gun Commando out now on Playstation Mobile!
I will be writing up my thoughts and adding them here later this morning. Trust me.....its good. Both the game and my review of it.

OK, here are some of my thoughts on this game. In the 90s I was in my teens. And have many fond memories of fragfests of Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Duke Nukem, Star Wars Dark Forces, and many others.
Now playing Gun Commando reminds me of many of these games. Graphically it reminiscent of the early FPS shooters in the mid 90s. But there are some 3D elements to it, if you see the video Legion showcased you will see that mostly in the vehicles it has a psuedo 3D effect which I must say is done very well.
Controls are too sensitive for me off the bat so I lowered it to three and it played very well, smooth and fast.
The story is pretty basic and generic, but lets face it unless your thinking Halo or any modern FPS the story is always just there to give you something. But then again its like an action movie. No one sees an action movie for the story, its the action.
So to narrow it down to Pros/Cons:
Cons (Just to get this out of the way first)
* Controls initally way too sensitive (lowered to 3 for me resolved this)
* Story is pretty basic, but we knew that
* Levels are a little too short ( I played to level 4 so perhaps they get bigger)
Pro's
* Really like the comic book style opening, done very well
* Found the dialog in the comic sequences to be funny at times
* Graphics are lush, vibrant and look great with the light 3D touch up
* Controls, once adjusted, were great
To add to this, I have been thus far greatly disappointed in the PSM. I found the payment system to be highway robbery. Paying $5 at a time is assinine in my opinion. And after about 2-3 weeks since its release, PSM, I removed the app entirely from my phone. But with the release of Gun Commando I reinstalled and bought the game. And I must add that I am glad I did. First game I have bought (Ive purchased 5 games prior to Gun Commando) where I didnt wish I could get a refund.
So if you like classic FPS, and want to add one more to the Xperia PLAY with short quick levels, for that get up and go... Gun Commando could be yours, for a small fee. So enjoy it as I do.
And thank you Legion for making the video, it was very well done and I felt showcased the game nicely.
Side note - In an attempt to locate the Playstation Mobile Reviews that BrianChase was mentioning I came across this YouTube channel, have not watched them yet so dont know how good the makers reviews are.

I just realized 12 hours after posting my thoughts... the sound. Yes... the sound in this game.... excellent in my opinion. Pretty standard fare but it plays nicely with the fast game. As stated you owe it to your self to pay the $3 and buy this game.....
On a side not... I played 4 levels just now.... and wow..... me gots a headache.. but in a good way. The comic scenes.. love all the wife jokes....funny.. BUY THIS GAME...
The soundtrack is surprisingly good for a mobile game, and the duke nukem esque quotes are good for a chuckle. This game is a definite buy, you are right about that!

Space Shooter X is a game originally made for Windows Phone and then I ported it to Android. It was just published today at Google Play Store and let me know what you think.
Here's some more details:
Inspired by old school Japanese shooters, the game has HD graphics, an edgy pace and plenty of bosses to battle. Ships can be upgraded with a vast assortment of weapons and you have full power and bombing options to help you obliterate your enemies. Speaking of which, while some space shooters have your enemies approach you head on, Space Shooter X has them coming from all directions.
Notable features include:
• No shields, limited to three lives making the game play even more challenging
• Supports individual country leaderboards besides a global one.
• Gain one full-power module for every 50000 points earned
• Bonus items appear at random as you destroy enemy ships to increase your firepower.
• It's not a game to play when you are feeling lazy!
Space Shooter X is a free, ad supported game with an option to remove it via in-app purchase and buy power-ups, bombs and lives that range in price from $0.99 to $9.99. It's available for download now at Google Play Store
Nice graphics, challenging game play and addictive. The leaderboards include world and country rankings so you can compete with anyone and your friends!

Which sound effect? Do you mean the player's ship bullet sound?
Nice game! Cool graphics and effects
What makes the game very hard is that you always die when you are hit once (no matter how small the bullet is) but even worse, you loose all your weapon upgrades. This makes it very frustrating sometimes because you will, due to the randomness in the nature of the game, always come into a situation where you just cannot avoid your death. In this situation, a player will always blame the game for his/her death - instead of his/himself.

Thanks for checking out the game!
To compensate the fact that you die with one hit, 70% of the previously collected weapon upgrades will be released back where you can pick them up again immediately. I guess I just want people to have the feeling that they have when playing games like Flappy Bird. It's probably a bit frustrating but, they may be able to do better only if they try again... and again
Nice bullet hell you have here! The backgrounds are pretty cool and I like the bullet animations. I get what you're saying about the game's difficulty. It's a bullet hell! It should be hardcore

And what is the gamemaker engine?
They took your son, now go get him back.
But first, load up your shotgun, and make a cheap suit of armour for yourself, then go in and shoot to kill!
Play our side on 2D shooter, with feelings of Hotline Miami (you die alot, so have to learn the rooms), pixelated bleeding and death.
We're looking for useful feedback on improving the controls, or and bugs you find in the game.
Have fun, good scumbag hunting!
