I was reading that there are additional files that need to be incorporated with polaris. If I use titanium to backup w/ data, will these files be preserved?

I would like to add Splashtop to the question? I tried to restore the Splashtop app in titanium on my other device and it didn't work.

Isn't splashtop available in the Play Store. I know mine didn't come with it...

Polaris requires addition .so files. I'll grab the ones you need later when I get home and let you know. You can just push them. I added them to AOKP.
Supernote can just be pushed it doesn't have any extra requirements. For Splashtop you need to put the MyCloud.apk and another APK but I forget which one. I'll look when I'm near a computer.

I downloaded this zip file. It has all of the programs except for Supernote in it. Does any one have the .apk file for Supernote?

Hey guys, just got home with my tab this evening and had a few questions for some of you guru's out there.....
Is anyone else having an issue with the asus email widget connecting to the msn/hotmail server?
Is there a fix for it?
sent from my DROID BIONIC via XDA App
Yeah I had an issue. Try changing your server to debug-m.hotmail.com
If that doesn't work, see here:

Thanks for the help, i couldnt get any of it to work. It seems the answer in the link you providd is working for everone else. I just cant seem to get it to work. Im curious if its because my email is a @MSN instead of a @HOTMAIL one

Try asking in the thread I linked you to.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T using xda app-developers app
yeah i will... im about to unlock/root and flash a rom... and i dont think any of the roms have the asus widgets, but if i can find the .apk for just the widgets, and get them on the new rom, i will see if it works that way.
EDIT: Unlocked, Rooted and running CleanROM... still no msn email for me i guess i will have to ask around in the linked thread above.
It's a long time since the lawt thread about dpi change. Last time it was not working anymore after a stock rom update. But since that time we have got 1 or 2 other updates. Does somebody know if it's possible again ? Thanks in advance
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using xda app-developers app
I tested it on latest stock. It's not working You will need to flash a custom kernel or ROM.
thanks for your answer, at least now i know

I figured some people might be interested in running the PlayStation Mobile Store on the tf700 so here it goes.
1. Download and install the Store apk from http://www.playstation.com/psm/store/en.html
2. Download and flash the zip file via twrp or clockworkmod for the certification files from http://beta.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390113915771290047
3. Login to the store with your PSN account.
P.S. I did not create any of the files, just sharing the love.

The second link is not the certification zip. It looks like an old version of the apk. I used http://beta.androidfilehost.com/?fid=9390113915771290047 to obtain the flashable zip. Everything is running smoothly. I just got done playing some lemmings
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using XDA Premium HD app
one last question before I start flashing it... how about updating the app... I know sony is touchy about hacking in their services, so I don't know how long we can keep using the ps mobile app.

Why are we not getting service? I read this article on tabletnews dot com last fall.

You have to have a custom recovery.
So just root can't do it.

Hi there! I have a stock TF300. I have had it since Feb. Lately its been running really slow and sluggish. I have tried turning it off when not using it and whatnot. Its to the point where I don't even want to use it because I can get things done faster on my phone.
I have rooted and rommed phones in the past, a Samsung gtab7, and a kindle fire.
My tablet literally has maybe 12 games for my 4 year old and maybe 10 apps that I have put on it. Pretty sad.
Is rooting the asus tf300 just as easy? I know that would help my situation, it sucks that we have to hack our devices just to get them to run the way we want.
I have read through some of the guides. Some seem pretty simple... I guess its just a matter of me doing it.
Thanks for the advice.

yes rooting is very easy, just use motochopper
Rooting is suuuuper easy. If you decide to put a custom recovery on it and ROM it, make sure you know exactly what your doing, which files and recoveries are correct, etc.

we need more info to help mate are you on stock? rooted? how many apps you got installed (just a rough number lol), if your on stock what version and if your using a custom rom which one?, then we will be able to make your tab fly
Its stock android 4.2.1 with 76 apps include asus apps and aps pre installed.
And not rooted.

Well rooting and getting rid of or freezing the bloatware would help mate but if your not bothered about your warrenty then custom Roms are the best way to really make this a great tablet
