[APP][2.3+] Panels - A New Way To Share Apps - Android Apps and Games

Ever been asked to recommend apps?
Anyone still recommending apps by providing a long long list of app names or links?
Anyone want to remember apps they like without writing it down onto a list?
Panels
A New Way To Share Apps!
Its extremely simple to use.
To Share Apps
1. Download and install Panels from this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.varience.panels
2. Go to the Add Apps Section and check the apps you want to add then press the + button. (You can also add apps directly from Play Store app)
3. Then go back to the Panel that you've added your apps
4. Press the export button to export out the panel as a file and then distribute it as you wish. There's a share button you can tap too.
To View Apps
1. Download and install Panels from this link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.varience.panels
2. Download any Panel files that had been previously exported by other people and place it onto your device. Here's mine: http://goo.gl/O5eix
3. Open up Panels and press the Import button. If the file isn't found, press the refresh button to run a system-wide scan.
4. Browse through all the apps that is now shown.
5. Look at some screenshots, read the descriptions, read notes that other people wrote... and press Install if you want to download.
Extremely simple to use!
With Panels, you're able to quickly share apps of any amount and also have the benefit of keeping them as files to import back at any moment in time.
Another way to use Panels and that's to remember apps!
Ever had an app you really like, but seldomly use?
You feel like uninstalling it because it takes up space, but you don't want to forget about it.
So rather than writing down all these names and hoping you'll remember them in the future... you can just add the app to a Panel and then uninstall!
Apps that are on a panel remain on a panel even if the app isn't installed on your device.
So you can use Panels as a way to remember apps you like and as a quick way to always be able to install them back.

Warning
This is NOT a data backup app like Titanium Backup! It will not backup your data.
Its purpose is just to remember the app and be a better way to share apps.
Just imagine if this was also a data backup app and you've backed up like 12gb of data. Imagine what it would be like to send a 12gb file to share apps. Imagine their surprise when they install the app and say, "Why am I level 86??"
So yes, this is not a data backup app.

Detailed user guide is available here.
nice app to add to your portfolio. i've downloaded it and giving it a try. i like the ignore apps feature with MRU, keeps my handy apps even handier. i might just have to get rid of my folders now, i'll be sure to leave an appropriate rating in about a week.
just for my sake, LRU is only based on last use; MRU is based on the number of uses; and Pro gets an additional ordering based on total time used. is this correct?
edit: sorry, missed the link to your blog, which covers that question clearly.. thanks
HI Muzikant,

Sometimes, you download an application because you find it interesting and then finally, it don't need or like it or more (it arrives very often), or you have just changed of rom, of version of Android. I've got a lot of apps, between my changes of terminal, the articles of test for a French blog etc...It's really easy and fast to download some free apps.
In brief, for the most ancient, you must have an important download history :silly:
For awhile now there’s been a way to delete the free crapware from your download history, but not many users are aware of the feature. For your benefit we’ve provided a handy step-by-step guide to getting rid of the apps from your download history that you’re confident you won’t be revisiting in the future.
On first you need the last update of Google Play Store apk, which is 3.10.9, Especially don't say “why I do not have do it earlier ????”. For the simple one and good reason which this functionality is very recent.
=> Open the Play Store App on your device.
=> You’re going to be presented with a list of all your currently installed apps, and below that you may see a list of apps ready for update.
=> Tap the options button in the top-right corner of the screen and select ‘My Apps’ from the drop down menu.
=> Swipe from right-to-left to bring up the ‘All’ screen.
=> From here you can delete the history of any free app you have downloaded. Simply tap the circle with a line through it above the word “Free” in the app list.
=> If you want to select multiple history entries just hold down on the app until you feel the short vibration. Then go through the list and select the other free apps you want to remove.
=> Tap the circle with a line through it in the top right corner if you have multiple items selected and you will be prompted to select ‘OK’ or ‘Cancel’ to confirm your removal.
You’re done! The app list should now refresh, and it should be missing whatever you selected for removal.
Maybe it will be long for some download history. Mine was new and fresh after 2 hrs :victory:

Just for remember that you can cleaned up your Google download history
Bonjour cher compatriote,
Thanks for this tutorial.
I still don't understand why we can't do this directly from the Google Play website. It would be so easy: tick or untick what we want to keep .

[APP][4.1+] Toddo - the convenient task list manager

Hi folks,
So I have been in search for a good-looking yet simple task list manager and to my surprise found none. Some require cloud sync, some integrate with calendars, maps and whatnot, some need crazy permissions and some just look horrible.

}
I am a proud Note 4 user and I've made an app for myself. Its core distinctive features:
Stores lists in plain text format that is convenient to read and edit and can be easily pulled and pushed to the device
Has just one screen - list of tasks with a small one-line form on top that lets you filter new task or add a new one (it filters as soon as you press on priority buttons or start typing the title)
Supports several task states: high-priority, low-priority, current/active (i.e. "doing now"), dropped, completed
Each task can be given extended multiline description by pressing on the list item
Sorts tasks in a complex way according to their states (e.g. high priority goes before regular, yet high priority with "current" goes before other high priority tasks)
Toggle "done" state with a checkbox near each task. Bulk-change states by long pressing an item to bring actionbar's into selection mode
The list file is saved after each change automatically; it also makes backup before every file write (pull them with adb) because I am paranoid when it comes to losing my tasks
Supports Samsung's MultiWindow SDK
Generally, the core principle is usability - similar to iOS' Reminders but less buggy (it crashed on me every other day) and more feature-rich. Still, I didn't want to make another S Planner, it's already good.
It's very much in beta state - I can easily add remaining stuff with the feedback of others (hard to convince myself to finish it ).
Stuff to-do:
Copy Menu
Share Menu
Edit task details
Dependent tasks support
Drag to reorder
Home screen widget
Photo support
Due date support
Alert device when due
File list support (open list from FS, save, copy, create)
Go to file list when click on appbar app title
Swap refresh and clean AB btns
Confirm delete or add undo
Don't just ignore on-save exceptions
Retain state on rotate
mod edit - closed as per OP request
Could you add a Google Keep sync feature?

Like I said in the first post, I don't want to load it with features you can find in other tasks. Besides, there seems to be no Google Keep API. Why don't you use Keep app itself? It's supposedly good.

Question Apps associated with camera functions

So I used as app control to debloat my s23 plus. Everything works good no issues except for one I just found this morning
So I need help figuring this out. I think I might have removed something that works with camera pics and text aka: an app that is associated with camera.
I remember at one time in my rooting days if you deleted a file (I forget which one it was off hand) but if you deleted that app the camera stoped working.
This seems to be a similar thing.
When I highlight text on a picture I took, I go to the 3 dots and click save to clipboard, so I can paste it in a text file. Problem I'm having is paste doesn't work at all, it's like there is nothing saved to clipboard even though it says "saved to clipboard"
Again, my guess is it's an app associated with the camera app, and I deleted it and this is the adverse reaction to removing said app.
So anyone have any ideas what app would be attached to the camera app, aside from gallery of course. I'm at a loss as to what it can be.
You probably did more damage than just this.
There hundreds of small Samsung system apps that modify the UI for appearance... and functionality. Most use little resources and should be left alone. Target the power hogs and complete trashware like Digital Wellbeing.
A list of the disabled items would be helpful.

Well maybe I'm confused.
I've restored everything back except samsung browser. Don't ask, I'm just not a fan of it.
That given this is what I'm doing or trying to do:
I'm openin samsung gallery. I go to the picture I took. I hit the T with the box around it which is text. I hit the 3 dots at the bottom and click on copy to clipboard. When I go to my notes app and hit paste, nothing comes up. Is it possible that the text copy from pics feature is limited to only samsung apps, and not other apps? I'm lost as hell right now.
Ok I'm an old idiot LOL.......I simply highlighted the text and copied and pasted it, it works fine.
So i'm curious, what does the T with a square around it at the bottom right do exactly? I thought that was like covert to text
The Samsung browser with some add on ad blockers is great for vids.
Try clearing the system cache.
Use the Samsung Edge app for copy/paste.

I'm guessing bixby vision. Give the list of apps you've uninstalled so we can help you better.
Do you mean Smart Select with the spen?
That's this app. If disable it disappears from the spen menu. Verified on my N10+/Pie.
