The ICS leak #2 is the same as the SOAK ICS, which to my understanding is also the same as the official ICS OTA. And yes, you can run SCv7 and other ROMs that were made from the ICSL2 build on the ICS OTA...

[Q] Stuck on 4.0.4! Not receiving OTA JB!

Hello!
I sent my i9020a Nexus S to Samsung because it was bricked for some odd reason and when I received it today, it was on Ice cream Sandwich so when I got home I decided to check for updates hoping to get onto JellyBean, but it said that I was on the latest version. How do I get the OTA update to 4.1.1? I also have tried clearing and stopping the Google Services FrameWork and it doesn't work
My build is IMM76D by the way, if it helps!
Thank you!

Well you are not alone... I was stuck there as well, and then I said WTH..and tried CM10. It cannot be better.
for i9020a ... It might come soon though but you cant be sure on that.
Either try CM10 or SLim JB 2.7 .. if you want Stock ROM then download it factory ROM .. I think we do have 4.1.1
and for 4.1.2 look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1854366
Yeah, I couldn't stand being on stock anymore so I decided to root and flash a custom rom. Hopefully it won't randomly brick like last time. :$
My friend is having the same problem with his at&t nexus s, is the update officially out for jb via ota, or is there some setback

JB Update

Hi,
some one have notice about the release date of JB 4.1.4 for N8000 Italy version?
Is there a rollout list?
:crying::crying::crying:
Never seen 4.1.4, only 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.2 and 4.2.1. So my guess is never.

I use it for my S2. You just need your userid and intranet password

This is the one I used, the problem is that Jelly Bean has a bug. So Leap connection is not working anymore.
People with galaxy s3 solved restoring an old verdion of the content of the folder /etc/wifi, so I wanted to know if someone had sol ed the problem in a Note 10. 1 this way or has used another way.

Hi OP
Do you mean 4.2.1 ?? as far as I know LEAP wifi stopped working since Jellybean 4.2.
4.1.x should be fine.

I can verify this....
I have the Galaxy s3 through At&t.....Just installed the cm10.1 nightly 20130103, and I can tell you, absolutley, that Leap isnt working.
This is a 4.2.1 build, and I went back to the PacDroid Rom, which is based off of 4.1.1, and it is fine.
Guess the nightlies will have to wait.
Hi,
I have the same issue while upgrading my GalaxyNote 5' N7000 from JB 4.1 LS7 to LSZ. I solved the problem by dumping system\etc\wifi and system\bin\wpa_supplicant from the old LS7 ROM to my new LSZ.

[Q] 4.2.2 Update?

Quick question, wasn't JB 4.2.2 released for the TF300T back in March? Or am I completely off base?
The reason I ask, I just noticed that my TF300 is still on 4.2.1...even though I know I had an OTA update a while back and I had just assumed it was the 4.2.2 update.
Thanks in advance for helping me out.

Asus very rarely issue the latest version of android. They always seem to be 0.0.1 behind. I.e, 4.0.3 vs 4.0.4, 4.1.1 vs 4.1.2, 4.2.1 vs 4.2.2

Yeah and I hate them for that because 4.2.2 quick settings have long press turn on wifi Bluetooth
Accidentally tapatalked from my TF300
The 4.2.1 appeared in late April or at the beginning of May. 4.2.2 is (MAYBE) a month old. I think 4.2.2 will be skipped, we will get 4.3 (I highly doubt that 5.0 will be released this year).

I updated to android 4.2.1 on 3/19. I can wait for android 4.3 instead of settling for 4.2.2.

The official update for the WW TF300TG came a lot later. My bet is also on 4.3, not 4.2.2, since it is a little broken and there will surely be a 4.2.3.
