I would like to start a camo centered compilation of themes for the theme chooser for cm based roms but not sure where to start. Used to theme way back when on the og droid but those were .zip flash type themes so any help would be appreciated.

Someone asked to port these icons over from the Evo. Thanks to Konikub for the theme. I ported them over along with fixing some of the other icons. I am still having problems with some of the icons and will update the link when I am done. This is a flashable zip and I will also try to get it into a metamorph theme. I did not include Rosie.apk, framework-res.apk, or com.htc.resources.apk
EDIT: I am working on porting the whole theme over and will have it uploaded today
Download Now-------> Minimalistic Port
It looks fantastic
thank you very much!
Does anyone know of a way to use a .mtz theme on the Droid Charge ?
Like a MIUI based theme or a theme that you would apply using theme chooser.
If not how would I go about editing my current theme to make it look like another theme from a previous rom version ?
I am pretty sure the answer is no, you cannot.
As far as porting you would either have to learn to do it yourself or try to get one of the themers around here to do it...

cant we install theme chooser if it is not within the rom??
Is there any way to make a theme i downloaded as default..so when the rom is flashed the theme would be the theme i downloaded instead of the system theme..:silly:
if you are talking about theme chooser themes then you can't
as the rom do not uses any theme as default it uses the framework images
but miui rom does use theme package and you can make your theme the default one
I am using S3 on 4.4.4 CyanogenMod M8 and I would like to browse more and install themes. Where do I start? Can someone point me to the step -by-step guide?
Thanks in advance
Well it looks like you have CyangenMod so you have Theme Chooser built in.
There is a dedicated section here at XDA which provides a huge variety of custom themes.

Guide on how to change/install themes.
Find a theme you like, download the apk. Then install the theme .apk.
Once installed, simply go to Settings, and open Theme Chooser. From there select the theme you wish to use.
Reboot your phone to apply any changes that haven't been made.
Enjoy your new look.
