For some reason since the update I've been wanting to use google chrome for my browser as default. I've gone into settings, application, all, the found internet (stock browser) and cleared it as default. I pressed back and immediately click on the stock browser again and come to find out it automatically made it the default again. I have no idea what I need to do to make google chrome my default browser. Anyone else having this problem with any other apps since the update? Even before when I would make dolphin my default browser, I would choose it in settings, and it would pop up on the screen to make one of my browsers the default. Did that method and still didn't work.
I fixed it, but for some reason it made me have to clear the data and cache for it to clear the default settings for the stock browser. Never had to do that before.

Here is my experience and suggestion
Before I update to JB, I do a factory reset and then let system pick up the JB firmware and update
I notice there is a huge difference on browsing. The scrolling on default browser and Chrome was laggy on ICS and I had to use boat browser, but now both JB browser and Chrome browsing become very smooth.
After the JB update, I noticed I no longer had the stock browser installed, only Google Chrome. I though ASUS had decided to remove the stock browser; however, Iá·°ve seen some threads about the stock browser. I do not have mine anymore! Am I the only one?
Still there for me...
Check if it's not accidentally disabled by scrolling to the bottom of your All Apps list. (settings --> Apps --> All)
I pressed something and now google chrome opens as a window on my one plus one running the pac man rom. How do I get chrome to run full screen again?
The new update changed. So when you open a new tab it opens as a new activity. So you will see it in recent menu.
It's a bug in version 39. It has already been reported in Chrome Beta, now they rolled it out to everyone:

Guess there is a bug in the system.
When tapping on a FB icon on a page in the chrome webbrowser it's not going to ask you if you want to launch with the FB app.
Instead it's just opening FB in the browser. Very annoying.
Other U11 users with this issue?
No one?
