I too sent my TF700T out for repair to RMA and it came back with the same app, (TF300T Touch). Haven't figured out what it does, I'am a NooBie and don't want to mess up my tablet. But I'am very curious to find out what this program does and if I need to keep it. For now I will leave it alone....
Look in /system/app or /data/app
Its gotta be in either one of those two locations.

All of my study is in the city so my tab could get stolen one day and at home i have a younger brother who loves to play with settings etc
Is the encyption worth the hassle?
Does it break anything?
Do i have to decrypt re-encrypt every boot is it slow?
I have never had this option before but it seems like a good idea i just want to know how it plays in real world use before i do it.

The problem with having an encrypted partition is that CWM at moment can't really do anything useful to those partitions. You cannot flash, backup, or restore via CWM. This means your ability to work with custom ROMs is effectively crippled. In fact, to undo the encryption (or if you forget your password), I had to nvflash back to stock. Factory reset via CWM cannot be done since, again, the partitions are still encrypted.
If in the future, CWM is able to access the partitions like the stock recovery can, then you'd be fine.

I wouldn't touch it for now. If/When CWM allows for it (possibly ICS, as I might guess that the closed nature of HC is limiting development around encryption support?) then maybe..
Thats a good point ae hopefully with icys than can also make abit more headway with the more advanced recoverys to
Never thought about that before thanks

Hi guys I am in a pickle.... I am coming to you because I have no other options.
As the title says I have a Wondermedia tablet and I was looking into replacing the stock software because its bull****. Anyway I got the honeycomb ROM UBEROID setup but I can never make it by the bootscreen. I have tried several different devices in the changer.bat but no luck... atm it is laying bricked because I have no way of restoring stock software... Any help with this will be apreciated! PLEASE HELP!
Anyone? Please?
Guys I need help!
I can not help you with your tablet, but what I can recommend is posting this in the Q&A section. You are more likely to get a response there.
heres what I used
I used a file called tabatronics which is a Verizon uberoid except no configuration settings just extract to card and power on worked like a charm including touch screen which is what I kept having issues I think I uploaded this file if not let me know. I have two of these called a boss 7in tablet I got on base but took almost 2 months to find a file that worked.
There are two files u extract one is a command the other a folder with the system remove these from your card.or zip when done or will install on each boot and took lose everything also made mine alot faster hope this helps.

Hello,
I'm in a pickle (I think) concerning my MEID and IMEISV, they're both equaling zero.
My other thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2517621
There's a program out there called "Samsung MEID Repair.exe"
A link to it is located at: adbtoolkit [dot] com. The link to the page it's on is: [[[[http]]]] ://adbtoolkit [[[[dot]]]] com/misc/device/samsung/galaxys3/sch-i535/#.UnyEufk_smk
(sorry, I couldn't post an outside link)
Google couldn't find much about the tool.
Has anybody used it before, or know how it works?
Thanks,
Adrian

the exe is a windows executiable file i havent used windows in quite some time being a chromebook and mac owner
I'm not sure if I would run that exe. There was a topic somewhere here that can help you recover your imei. Can't locate it atm but I know it exists

I have used that particular exe file. Works like a charm. Some quick notes about it
1) you must downgrade the modem/radio on your phone to LG7 or older. K1 is the one I used, but the older, the better
2) if your ERI on your phone reads 0 you will need to use the eri repair button in the lower right hand side of the windows application.
3) when you use the eri repair it will ask you to reboot. DO NOT REBOOT until both eri and imei is fixed.
Also there is an in depth walk through by a dude on RootzWiki but I don't have the link. Its on my home computer. There's a couple of other walkthroughs out there. Just Google search Samsung GS3 IMEI repair tool

Hello. I just wanted to restore my nexus 5 and i used NRT for it. I pressed restore and after that it startet booting. Now the phone turned on and it wrote: optimalizing (starting apps) 2 of 2. After that it restarted again. I know i was stuck in bootlomp. My pc is not working properly and 90% of images i downloaded were corrupted. In flashing in hashcheck it wrote missmatch. There is photo that i dont know if it is ok but i will post it anyway.

There is a guide to how install the drivers in NRT. Idk where exactly. Just have look. As I remember it right it should work without have your N5 connected.

Don't use a tool kit. Just flash the factory image using fastboot. See the general forum for the sticky on how to flash a factory image.
