signature verification fail - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

hello friends,
i have purchased a new iphone from china which have android.
now the problem is that i want to install another android in this phone.
this phone is made by spreadtrum company of china, and this is some basic detail about the phone
model number: SPHS on Hsdroid
Android version: 2.3.6
baseband version: MAUI.11AMDW1150.SP.V6,2012/03/14 17:53
KERNAL VERSION:2.6.35.7
build number: MK_CM_GC_SY301E_2012.06.13
so i have rooted this device and tried a lot to update from debugging mode with update.zip but it says signature verification failed.
i know this is china , but from the list of this much androids any of atleast one android can b supported in this phone , bcoz this phone has lots of issues.
no network coverage in sim cards, some time comes some time not in the same sim card(so i think this is software problem.).
no internet connecting.
market app not responding.
google play also not working.
i tried vendor.apk
it allowes me to regiester to gmail acc, & then market app starts it opens :angel: but when i click on the app to download it it stop responding.
this phone was having a himarket app before this market. i removed it coz it has all the chinese apps that we cant understand.
so if there is any solution so tell me and help me.

First off that's not an iPhone. Second try Googling the actual device name, it seems like a less supported device though.

[Q] Galaxy beam, unable to install google market apz

Hi i just bought a galaxy beam from a shop in singapore.
Everytime i try to install an appz from google market, it doesn t even start to download, just get a message "download unsuccessfull".
this happend either i am in wifi or 3g
never experienced such a prob with any of my android phones.
here is the version:
firmware 2.1-update 1 <-- is there a newer update?

it seems that it s an unlock starhub phone, was new.
i am in france using another operator, i ve seen in the language only english is available for this phone.

when i took off my sim card and sd card , market was working over wifi
i ve put the sim card, market works
i put the sd card i had in my nexus, market doesn t work :'(

I have an International Quad-core version of the GS3 handset.
The problems that I am experiencing are as follows:
1- I am unable to access my apps from Google Play Store. I have to access the Play Store via the internet, and it displays all my apps, but when I try to download them I get a message that they are "already installed on my phone"
I am attempting to download ROM Manager so that I can return to the stock ROM.
2- Since installing the above ROM, my device does not recognize my SD card, which I have been using for the past 6 months in this device.

unlock Android box with restricted use to one IPTV app

Hi All
I have my android box that is very restricted, I cant add any apk, I cant even add a google account it just crashes, File browser is not available EVEN internet browser, only four applications showing: ATN iptv, Dev Tools, Music, Download (which is empty), and Settings. I can reset the device to factory but it will come back exactly the same. I can use toothpick button but it will give an image of (Android with error sign) then will continue as normal to home screen. it run jelly bean firmware. 4.2.2 build number ATN-1.0.6 2016-09-26 242441.
What can I do now? I need to be able to add any apk package I like, when I connect USB stick nothing happens...

Does debug usb work? Or something like Fastboot/ADB?
I connected the box to the computer with USB cable (both ends the same) but nothing happened. I wish it was as simple as PC, formating and re install Android OS lol.
not sure about Fastboot or ADB.
Unknown source option is ticked, but like I said nothing happens when I insert a USB. cant even download from net or open any browser.

I have samme ATNbox, (and others called atn gold/platinum) have you tried to use another android version on the box? I am facing same issue, can´t add any app or change Android version.
Could you please tell me what you did to make it work?

Need help please
I have an Androide box named ISatPlus, I was subscribed to iptv in 2015 but not anymore.
The box has received an update from ATN and now am not able to install KODI or any other application. The system keep deleting all new application I install.
I cant even install new firmware it fails after few sconds. Anyone can help or suggest a solution?
The CPU is a dual core ARM Cortex-A7, and the platform is BIGFISH???

this is an old thread, however, if anyone still interested in reprogramming "most" of the ATN boxes, there is a way to customize it and make it a basic android box which you can use normally with any app, however most ATN receivers are very old and not compatible with newer versions of android, only android 4.x.x depending on the box you have

Samsung 10.1 Tablet - software on device is outdated

Hello, I have an older Samsung tablet #GT-N8013. I tried to open a SONOS app I used to use to play music, and it said "software on device is outdated, update operating system." Also, I'm unable to download some game apps from Google Play store. Says "my device is not compatible with this version." Searching info on Google, this site was recommended. I am NOT tech savvy. It appears my device is up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Additional info: Android ver. 4.1.2; Kernal 3.0.31-813049
That is the latest software for that model .
No further updates released nor will the N8013 be updated .
Try to update Googgle services and
Play store, that solved the same issue I had. Then wait a couple of days ...

Need help downloading compatible working rom for kocaso tablet M1062

Hello XDA Community. I could use a little help. I'm trying to root a Kocaso Tablet model# M1062 which is using Android operating system. My question is which Firmware can I use to upgrade the current rom that is in this tablet. I am unable to use the old web brower on this tablet to activate google playstore or any apps it says out of date browser and I says I need to use use a different browser. I can't even download any apks off my sd card either since I can't find the right Rom that will work for this tablet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
