Heres to hoping its supporting Xperia PLAY.

Looks like a great game and with the simple one action type control scheme, no reason why they can't add xperia play support.
WTF,why doesn't this game published by Gameloft but ubi? Is that a sarcasm? Ubi totally had enough of GL's sucking games maybe.

iOS was yesterday, like always, before Android....No problem, one day, but where the h*ll is version for Android right now? Delayed or something? No info etc.... -.-
I am also awaiting the release.

Delayed -
Ubisoft twitter message =
Ubisoft @Ubisoft
#RaymanJungleRun will be out on Google Play Sept 27 @10am CET. Sorry for the unexpected delay, we needed more time for optimization!
I knew that - Ubisoft is like their mobile section - Gameloft. Nearly always iOS before Android. It's everytime the same thing....Hope waiting will bring Xperia Play full support. For now, let's download The Bard's Tale, 74% .

I've got a feeling they are optimizing it for the PLAY. Guess we'll find out next week
This just got leaked (search Google) it has no what so ever xperia play support at all. No launcher icon and no buttons work in game. Not to bad looking and gameplay is nice but not really liking games which only need 1 tap (where is the challenge). Really surprised has no play support as co produced by Dotemu (metalslug, r-type) but guess they sore no point in mapping 1 button. Oh well it's a shame but always have proper rayman on the good old emulators

I just got sent an email from a friend and he had it attached. Yup, no xperia play support.... nice graphics though but I wont touch it unless its optimized. Oh well... time to go back to playing the awesome 'Bard's Tale"..

But we can still using gamekeyboard and joistick center For me with the Last one works awesome For me is xperia play optimized =p
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
So not worth it, if they can't optimize/map on button like X for jump...Maybe updated version will have it. If not - I can always play it on my X10 without pain, but on Play I wanted something more....
Guys, I still the chances are strong that there will be an optimized version released formally next week. I can see the hardware working for a variety of functions in the game. My fingers are crossed :fingers-crossed:
No there is no chance. No way any dev will want to map one screen touch (because that's what it is the whole game)
Xplay support is not necessary in a game like this, and your just being petty if you won't touch it because of that
But, actually guys....If you really want have it "Xperia Play optimized unofficial" - please do like me - map one button (which you like best for jump, I like X like in PlayStation), and fell free to call it optimized (except icon i Play's launcher, but I don't care much about it always). There is no unusefull touchscreen buttons, so no way to say that "there is too much things on screen when playing" - this minimalistic form of that game is sure advantage. But it's quite short, but still worth playing ^^.
Err guys is it leaked? My friend showed me download links for the apk and SD data from a warez site.

thats just too bad that they didn't optimized this game for Xperia PLAY..

Yeq,but its been cracked / modded for other phones , its illegal to download it I believe and yea it won't be play optimised until they officially release it onto the market or onto the play , currently only available for the lg nitro HD
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
It's a 3 month exclusive to LG, so not long now, and it's not optimised as it stands, it still runs like **** on the phones it's supposed to work on.
It will also benefit with buttons to play with, not crappy touch screen gaming, so roll on the Play version.
not optimized
i have downloaded it and installed on my play,, and yes, it is not optimized.

Tried this game and dont think much of the android version buggy and too big sd file.
I would rather play the onlive version which is millon times better and has online vs instead of just bluetooth.
Or if have no internet accses would rather use tiger mame and run streetfighter alpha3 or streetfighter the third.
Is the game better than the 3ds game?

It can't be, the 3ds version is gold.(especially if you turn off 3d in the menu. Its smoother than butter)

The 3DS version is a 100% port of the arcade/console release. Graphics pretty much identical and 100% of the content and characters available and even more added.
The phone version is quite literally bollocks in comparison.

Why would they give a touch pad phone exclusivity for so long... You need control pads to play street fighter... There is no way anyone can enjoy it on touchpad.

I've got the same issue and just after restoring my phone, and using the stock version of xperia play .69, and rooted, did you find out how to fix it please help if you know the solution as it works on my nexus 7, but not on the xperia play, im thinking it may be a ram, and processor issue, is it possible the game is too powerful for the xperia play.
I've some such as Stardash, INC, Cordy, Roboto and they need to be fed. I have emulators as well.
I was wodering if there were anymore apart from those.
Have to say platformerts are lacking on the Xperia Play and they should be releasing more because the Xperia Play has physical buttons
I want originality like Mario style Platformers. So can anyone recommend me some ?

So we've always known that it showed up in the Xperia PLAY Game Launcher... but it was always an unanswered "why?" because the game certainly wasn't Xperia PLAY Optimized for any firmware.
Just got a tip from a user on my site that it is, and should be added to my database. As always, I like to test myself before adding anything, but I've tried to install it three times to get to a situation where it FC's every time I get past the intro video.
Can anyone confirm if RR2's updates made it work with Xperia PLAY controls?

Hmm... having trouble finding that version. I found a lot of Reckless Racing v1.0.2, but Real Racing 2's version numbering scheme makes it hard to pinpoint that one. Mind sharing your apk for Real Racing 2? I so want to play this game with the gamepad. Any idea if we can get the devolopers to make it optimized for the Xperia Play ?
Are you guys @ jgregoryj1, TLRtheory talking about the paid version or the free version? Because the free version is not optimized. Plays just like it does on my ipod lol.
I was playing this a few weeks ago on my skiing trip and I can confirm it is Xperia Play Optimised. I was using the left and right directional buttons to steer my car and I was using the L button to brake just like on the first game.

The buttons only work when racing though as the menus are made for the touch screen.

Please, confirm this.
I want to buy this game but only if is optimized for our devices.
Its not optimized.
look at the market comments from other xplay users.
they are still begging for gamepad support.
So the good news is that Heroes Call is no longer a Tegra exclusive. It's out for free on the Google Play store, with a revamped IAP system that doesn't brake the game, on the contrary, critics say that it's great and not intrusive.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...EsImNvbS5EZWZpYW50RGV2Lmhlcm9lc2NhbGwuVEhEIl0.
The big question is: Is this game Play optimized, will we be able to play it on our gamepad?
I'm not at home so I don't have a good internet connection, if someone finds out please report here. Cheers!
Nope. It's just like Runescape lol.

Thank you very much for telling! The e downloaded free from Play Store and works fine on Xperia Play!
I can confirm there's no gamepad support. That's a bummer, the game runs soooo smooth, and looks so great it would be a pity if we never get support.
So now let's pester the dev for that shall we Let them see how many XPlay users are out there, and that we need to be heard!

More people should download and rate with comments to bring attention to the problem. Ever since I first played a game that was Play optimized I can't even imagine gaming on a touchscreen, it seems wrong.

This game is perfectly playable with touch screen, you basically do everything with 1 (ONE!) finger. No need for XP controls.
IMHO not everything needs physical buttons, let me list some of my games I can play on touch screen perfectly fine: Mini Motor Racing, Mass Effect Infiltrator, Jetpack Joyride, Temple Run...
I send them an email yesterday asking for controls, they said I was the second person that asked for them.
so start sending those emails!

True, the controls are fine, but I still have to cover the screen with a finger, and that's bad. Using the control scheme from Dungeon Hunter would make this game perfect for our phones.
We could try to ask the devs, and if they are willing to optimize it will be a huge new addition to the Play library. And if not, well, we might learn to live with the touchscreen controls.
I join the request. I sent an email to developers. The more the merrier.

My 2 cents - Sorry to say this but doubt this is coming to Xperia Play (At least stock Gingerbread ones) and defo wont have controls if playable on ICS (If even runs on the hardware).
To be honest any big games this year will be a god send if they are playable on Xperia Play (2nd birthday coming up soon). I don't doubt we will see Xperia Play Optimized games this year but they will be from the indie developers more so then the big boys like EA etc etc.
Don't get me wrong i support the Xperia Play (Much more then others, i have a Xperia Play Fan site ) and still think its the best Mobile/Portable Games Unit available to date. But it wont live forever with the ever growing market and new innovations out there.
I agree, the sun is setting on our little friend, but I have yet to see the Play be ignored by big dev's, suprisingly. Wild Blood, MC4, and several other AAA titles, JUST launched with full Play support. We aren't completely forgotten about yet!

I am also optimistic about Dead trigger 2 working on tegra 3 devices. One example why I think so is that in the Tegra zone shadowgun has 2 versions for tegra 2 and 3. Shadow gun came out in the transition period between these 2 chips so they made the people happy if I might say ? Dead trigger is also from madfinger games.. ok it can be seen where I am going with this.
