[Theme/MOD]--EYECANDY--CM10--SGT7-TWA_PRIVS--9-30--v1.5 - Kindle Fire Themes and Apps

YOUR ROM YOUR WAY!!!
Okay everyone here is my new Theme/mod for TWA_Privs SGT7 rom. As of right now it is only for his latest 9-5 rom. I am working with twa to see about getting a 1% battery mod into his source and that way this can easily be used on all versions. Until then I can easily update what needs to be done on each version.
You need roughly 100mb free on sdcard because the theme will place temporary files there, theme the system apps, and then removes those temp files.
Your orginal apps are backed up to /sdcard/vrtheme-backup, so if for some reason you want to revert, you can just move the .apk with your foavorite Root Browser file app.
What does my theme modify
Settings.apk- all png mods
SystemUI.apk- all png mods
framework-res.apk- png and xml mods. This will make all secondary text ICS blue and also system generated progress bars blue.
WHO WANTS SOME OPTIONS?
Battery Options....
By default it is my Multi color circle that I use in all my themes is no option is selected as "YES", but there are 7 more that you can choose from in Aroma. Aroma will also display the battery icon at a 70% display for each.
Wifi Icons
By default it is the colorful on that I always include, but there is an option to choose the stock wifi icons.
---Oijkn Wifi icons from A500
Nav Button Options
---Mirrored
---Graphical---DO NOT Change Color or these in system settings or they will just be a solid color.
---Metro
---Metallic
---Ballon
---Text
---Oijkn from A500
---Airbrush
Jelly Beans Gapps.
I include these so that users should only need to do two flashes, the rom...and my KICKASS Theme...HAHA!!

The eye candy ROM is quite dated. I would do a full wipe and install the latest from twa_private, 0905. Then, install the eye candy mod. This will give you a current sgt7 Linaro with all the glitz.

Is it better to use apex or trebuchet with the mods? If I install again will it overwrite the first backup?

I'm on the last eye candy rom but want to chance to this one with the eye candy mods
can you chance the buttons and the clock collor blue?(don't like green)

They start as ICS blue. You art looking at my color customization which fits my island background. Just install and leave the color alone.
I prefer Apex. My shot has the tray hidden, and I use swipe to hide the status bar.

Just curious as to whether you need to flash this again if Twa_priv updates the base ROM?

Yes you will because all Rom's will wipe out /system and replace with clean files. So when he updates I will update as soon as I possibly can, all I need to do is modify the new SystemUI.apk. But if there were no major changes to SystemUI.apk then you could easily flash without me updating. But that is something that will come from him and should be able to see in his change log. I am still looking for a source for a battery mod and then I would not need to update this theme just to match a newer rom version.
ON a side note would some one be willing to test v1.1 for me? I dont have my wifes Kindle today and have a large update ready for you guys as long as all goes well.
PLEASE PM ME IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

Updated latest twa_priv 9-12, wiped cache, dalvik, reinstalled. Works fine.

[Theme] Batman theme for CM7 Nightlies by Abu_Noah-Updated!

This is an addition to my other Super Hero themes. You know the drill...I am not responsible for your phone, you are. Do a back up before flashing. Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, let's talk about the theme. This is made for CM7 nightly build 14. I do not know if it will work for other builds. Included is the theme, Batman keyboard (HTC). A Batman splash screen and a Batman wallpaper pack. I did not create a boot animation, but Rujelus22 did, so all credit for that goes to him. Also included is a beautiful widgets clock skin I created.
Batman theme for CM7 nightly build 14
Flash through recovery.
Batman Keyboard
Download, unzip and install like you would any app through a file manager like Astro.
Batman Splash screen
Put the zip on your sd card and flash through the bootloader.
Batman wallpaper pack
Unzip and apply through the gallery.
Batman Beautiful widgets clock skin
Put on your sd card in data/beautiful widgets/skins folder and apply through Beautiful widgets app
Rujelus22's bootanimation
Push to system/media or create a folder on your desktop called media and put the bootanimation inside. Then right click on the theme zip and select open archive. double click system and drag the media folder into the system folder of your theme zip. flash as usual.
Picture of the custom Batman splash screen below in attachments;
rujelus22's custom Batman bootanimation seen below:
I suggest the thiner lookn bars in lock screen or even better transparent bars any ways cant wait.

it's in systemUI in the system apps, but it's a png.9, meaning that you have to set boundaries for how it will stretch. What i think i have to do is run the pic you gave me through drawpatch.9 and fill in the boundaries all the way around so it won't stretch and then compile it through eclipse.

[Discontinued][MOD][CM9]Multitasking mod / app switcher for cm9 Pico mdpi

Thanks to evilisto, I was able to mod and compile a multitasking/app switcher mod for cm9 HTC Explorer/pico (mdpi) that looks a lot more pretty. (see attachment)
v1 Features:
Dark grey backgroud.
Horizontal navigation between apps.
Swipe up or down to kill app.
Large, beautiful looking thumbnail.
v1a Features:
Same as v1 but changed background to give windows mobile look (looks much prettier).
v2 Features (Sense 4 Multitasking - what's different):
Added code to generate gradient in background.
Added title Recent Apps.
Added thumbnail Reflection.
Added display of icons above the app title.
Added tilt/rotate to thumbnail.
Note: Some people have asked me how to enable landscape view. Landscape view will work only if you are already in an app which is in landscape mode when launching app switcher or if in landscape mode in your launcher (if enabled). This will work for v1, v1a and v2 and all future versions as well.
Download:
v1 Mediafire Link.
v1a Mediafire Link
v2 Mediafire Link.
Installation instructions:
Download the zip file above.
Copy it to a folder on your SD card.
Reboot into recovery.
Toggle signature verification off if necessary.
Choose the option install zip from recovery.
Browse to the zip you downloaded and select install.
Reboot.
How to revert to original:

I am working on that sense 4 multitask for past few hours to incorporate it in v2 of multitasking mod. Might get it working soon. Various problems as its for aosp and ours is cm9, also its for hdpi and xhdpi while ours is mdpi. so taking time.
I downloaded the original framework zip from the server to check if it uploaded properly and flashed. it worked fine for me to revert. Your downloaded zip must have corrupted. Try re-downloading.
Meanwhile I have updated the post for v1a, windows mobile style (background change) looks much prettier now. Download and enjoy. (updating in few minutes)

Pls notice above first line, credits to evilisto? this mod itself was made based on that source. Complete sense 4 requires lots more advanced features which im trying to implement. The source is in diff format which has to aplied as a patch o the source code and not decompiled apk. It involves downloading the full repo source and the device tree and applying through linux terminal. Plus there is difficulty in changing values to mdpi and also the biggest challenge is smali codes.. But im working on it dont worry.
Edit: Sense 4 is now fully done. check first post.

Unfortunately it's because of the larger thumbnail size n mostly the extra effects such as the reflection n the 3d rotate. It's equal to running a 3d game n that doesn't go well with pico. Specially the reflections..

The difference is that when running a game, android reserves the required resources n kills background processes but for multitasking app switcher, not the case.

Looks promising. Is there a way to get sense 5 launcher dock ad well?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
That's my own font, you'll get whatever font is in your system. As for the dock, ill be getting around to it as well. I still have more stuff currently being worked on.

Your going to have to install them from sd,with a file explorer for now. Put unzipped folder on sd. Ill throw a flashable zip together tonight. Thanks to liamstears for fixing the battery percentage.New pack with battery coming soon.
Op updated new Lock Screen added now in flashable zip for easy install.
Is the lockscreen in with the rest of the icons? Or was the lockscreen specific .zip removed?

Not yet,I had a minor delete the wrong apk snafu. Once I'm back home I'll redo it. It was up,but I had to take it down. I will have it back up,with a better installer setup probably tomorrow.

Updated OP with new packs.
I realize that is, obviously, for a SENSE based rom but could this work on an AOSP rom? Perhaps just the icon pack? Fonts?
The displayed battery percentrage doesn't match up with the "Power" option in settings, so does this battery just do the "10s"? i.e. 90,80,70, etc. Right now the battery on the status bar says 100, but in the settings is only returns 98.
When charging there is no animation, the battery just shows a sliver of red and the charging lightening bolt.
If no one else sees these things that I most likely hosed something while copying over files.

did you install the old pack? new pack posted today has everything working.
i installed V3 sense5 pack complete, Sense5 Lock Screen, and Sense5 Fonts.
To install the first pack i pulled the items out and dropped them into my own flashable zip file.
I'll re-download and copy them over individually, set perms, and remove the odex version (I'm running cleanrom 6).

My zips will install them for you,all my stuff is deodexed. Im gonna fresh boot a rom and check again.I flashed everything fresh this morning when i put everything up,and all was good. They should work on odex, but you need to remove odex files.Ill see if i cant get my installer to remove .odex soon.
EDIT>>>Fresh boot everything's fine, battery matches system info<<<< I will be making pack for clean rom. Some things might possibly conflict with scrosler's build. As I have stuff going to bin/xbin/init'd. And my installer doesn't remove anything.

[CM11 Themes][Color Theme Mod v1.0.0][CROMBi-kk][15/04/14]

Color Theme Mod
CM11 Theme Chooser Themes
For CROMBi-kk
What's Themed:
framework-res
SystemUI
Settings
Browser
Nova launcher
Apex launcher
These are my first CM theme chooser themes and are still a work in progress, so more will be themed as I go but thought I'd share what I've got done so far.
There are also some apps/icons that theme chooser does not seem to want to theme: - Still working these out
Trebuchet launcher
Google calendar?
Mouse cursor
Lockscreen
Instructions:
Download desired theme apk to internal or extenal storage and install.
Note: CM themes won't install by clicking on the "Download Complete" notification - Just install from a file manager or other preferred method of installing apps
Go to Settings, under Personalization select "Themes"
Select the theme you want and hit Apply.
After hitting apply you will see a popup: "Theme error - This theme was improperly compiled", not sure why this happens but it does with every CM theme I've tried. Just ignore and hit apply anyway.
Also some parts of the theme will not be applied until after a reboot.
Downloads:
CTM_Blue
CTM_Green
CTM_Orange
CTM_Pink
CTM_Purple
CTM_Red
CTM_Yellow
What will/should be themed in next few versions:
Calculator
Contacts
Email
Gmail
ES File Explorer
Play Store
Stock Calendar - maybe
Please hit thanks if you like my themes.
Thanks! You just fulfilled my one and only RFF for CrOMBi-kk
Excellent! CMT has been missed. Thanks. [emoji106][emoji3]
Wonderful! Thanks Paul! :victory:
No rom is complete without CTM. Thanks![emoji122]
After installing green and red they did not show up in themes.

That's strange, not sure what's going on there.
So they install fine and show under apps as installed? but just don't show in themes.
Maybe try uninstall theme app, select system theme, reboot and then reinstall and see.
Can you try other CM11 themes from the play store, like cobalt or betterkat and see if they show up under themes and let me know.
Is anyone else having this issue.
Theme app? Don't have that. Is it a stand alone app not included in the ROM? I don't see your themes as separate apps in my drawer.

Themes from the play store install and implement fine. Among those tested are cobalt themes.

No sorry by theme app I meant CTM_Green/CTM_Red theme apps
They won't show in the app drawer but check in Settings under Device - Apps - Downloaded and see if they are in the list of apps there.
If not maybe a bad download or install.
Nothing under Settings-Apps-Downloaded or -All.

I do get this when I go to install your theme…

Still haven't figgered out screenshot on this ROM.

So I started fresh, downloading each CTMx.apk to my PC, moved them to my PC's DropBox folder. Opened DropBox on the Tf700 and selected the apk and did the install. Didn't get the Nova launcher popup. Install complete. Went to Settings>Apps>Theme and found the theme I just installed. Success with red (which had issues earlier) and purple. I shall uninstall and do an over the shoulder video of the way that failed. I will send you a DropBox link to that video. Maybe you will see something. Try to do that today.
Thanks for your work on this
Got it to fail by downloading and the clicking on the ’download complete’ notification to start install.

I use the nova launcher, I never had a problem installing the themes. What version of nova do you have?

Ok just done some testing and have the same results as you (restore backup nova popup and app didn't install). I also backed up one of the cobolt themes, uploaded it and downloaded it and then tried to install from the "download complete" notification with the same results.
Of course it does not happen when getting themes from the play store because they auto install after download.
So I'm thinking it must be either an bug/issue with CM or theme chooser itself, not really sure. I'll make a note in op that CM themes won't install by clicking on the "download complete" notification and to just install from a file manager or other preferred method of installing apps.
Thanks for picking up this issue.
Paul
Edit:
I have also noticed some other strange behaviour with CM themes:
If you have mulitable themes installed that start with the same name, ie CTM... BetterKat...
Lets say you have all CTM & BetterKat themes installed and you apply CTM_Red, after a reboot if you have a look under Settings - Apps - Downloaded all of the CTM & BetterKat apps with have the same name (CTM_Red) and all CTM apps will have the same colored icon, same go's for the Betterkat themes - weird
I think I'll change the names around in next version to fix this, so Red_CTM, Green_CTM
Another thing I've noticed very occasionally is after downloading or copying a theme to device the theme apk icon will not be the correct one, in fact it will not even be a icon from the theme apk but from somewhere else.
Would it be possible to make a blue CMT apk that is not so dark?
