In terms of best tablet, i think i would have to go with the new toshiba 10 incher or the Galaxy Tab 7.7
In terms of best value, transformer. No other 10" IPS panel based tablet can come close
I'm definitely getting the 7.7 or the note

Although the hardware it similar I would say no.
And because we still have a locked bootloader there is no chance.
You'd end up bricking your device!

Disappointment with android dev

Recently i moved from iphone 4 to samsung galaxy s3 and from ipad2 to asus transformer tf300 and ive been disappointed with certain things mainly lack of development of apps. The ones which stick out to me are SkyGo and the gambling apps. I cant decide if its ICS they arent working on or just my devices.
Does anyone else have this issue?
I hope this is right place for this

Really depends on what kind of apps you are looking for. But yes tablet apps are generally few and sparse.

Note from Korea

My sister is bringing me back a 32gb grey Note 10.1 from Korea. Is anyone aware of any issues I could have, besides needing a new power adaptor. I'm guessing I can localise it using some tool or other to get UK updates?

The SHW-M480W is a different device - the exact differences are unknown, but there are possible hardware differences that may prevent using firmware packages designed for N80xx series devices.
Seriously?
Owwwwww so sad.
