My email to both Dev groups above:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I wanted to first thank you for your efforts in bringing this to the android market. I have fond memories of my teens playing these games. I would like to ask if there is any wayyou can add Xperia PLAY support to this? I feel that this game would benefit greatly from having a real gamepad to play them with rather then just a touchscreen. Thank you for your time and I look forward to a reply. Thank you.
Reply from Dev for Commander Genius (somehow I must have missed this in the game, oh well.)
From Dev:
You can set gamepad keys from Commander Genius options to the game actions.
Alternatively, when the game stars - click "Change device config" button, then select "Remap physical keys", you can remap keycodes to the keys that CommanderGenius uses, although you'll need to know key names beforehand.
Hmm... I'm using gamrb for a year. I'm end BG1 and play a lot in BG2 and I'm always used gamepad... I don't know why You send him an email...

I hear y'all. I stand corrected. As I mentioned I guess I zoned out when looking at this game. But yes you both are right it is key mapped. I stand corrected.

Been playing this on my HD2, while it takes time getting used to, it makes so many of my friends drool. Hehe.
I hope they keep making changes on it. Anyone else play or have other rts that work great on the leo?
Would love to see more games come over and play well. =)
Anyone seen the warcraft one? Age of Empires?
Tho these games are a port like and not so much the orig, its rather run still and close enough. =)
Thanks awesome site ^^
great link, thanks.
Did you install to device or sdcard? I tried sd install and it installs fine but freezes in game after selecting single player. Gonna try device install
**Edit** Dang still freezing up on me, wonder why...
can't play campaign mode?
i know this isn't the troubleshooting spot.
but anyone else unable to play campaign mode?
Thanks! Great links!!
Sorry for my stupid question, but its my first ported game on my HD2. How to control the units?

I am not able to play campaign mode either Might be removed so that the game didn't take up too much space on the device
I tried it some time ago on my HD2, but it's not so easy to play this game without a resistive touch and stylus pen.
On my old Samsung Omnia I played also warcraft II and PalmHeroes, great games but unplayable on a capacitive screen for me...
I can only get Starcraft working. I also been just playing Custom maps. (Top vs Bottom) when I played.
Warcraft the resolution is off... and Age of empires went back to home screen. So meh.. Unless anyone else got it working?
Tho seems the site has some more games on it. But I want some good RTS!
Starcraft to control units.. sadly you gotta tap and hold to draw a box, or click the unit then click the action icon then where. Its not like click unit and click screen and it auto does it. Scrolling the map is meh too but HEY! Its Starcraft on the leo and it works!
Oh and I installed to SD card. (Rem Not that I think it matters, but I am on energy rom)
yeah, itsa bit tricky to get use to the controls.
but why complain, amirite? its a good game
even if we can only play custom matches...
So I've been interested in this for a while -- What exactly is it? Is it custom games, with custom maps, or is it just one map, or what part of the full game is it?
FYI i just discovered that the site you are linking to is a warez site. They have a game called tower defence, which you are able to download for free, I payed 15 dollars for the exact same game. If these games are warez too then you are breaking a pretty serious rule on XDA.
Is it? If a mod has a issue on the site, then let the link be removed. I know the starcraft one is a project, just in russian, so thats why I gave the other site that I had found for a easier download for people.
Also that tower defense game.. I tried... didnt work. Alot of things I saw on the site are useless for the HD2..
But basically I just wanted to give you all the starcraft and so.
I play Warcraft 2 alot (dug my old cd out to give it a bash, what do you know, it worked!)
Its awsome!
Realy shouldnt be posting Warez on the site tho, no matter what the reason but im sure a moderator will check and sort it out.
I must actualy thank you, didnt realise Age of Empires was also available!
Off I go to dig out AOE! Lol
Happy times!
where are the links? I can't see em :O
Just got my HD2 (USA) yesterday
Links got removed, but if you google it you can find the ru site easy enough that does the project =)
Great! Job
Does anyone know if any of our OS' amazing developers are working on an Intellivision emulator?
From a quick Google search it appears people think it should be relatively simple.. Perhaps someone in contact with the main guys could send an email over?
The .EMU developer seems to enjoy breaking new ground so fingers crossed
Sent from my 64gb Xperia Play
Has anyone emailed the emulator developers? I know many of you are in contact with them.
Came across this game:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...yLDEsImNvbS5yb2Rlby5odW50ZXJzZXBpc29kZW9uZSJd
And think it would run great on our phone. So I have emailed the dev and requested that they look into if they are interested. Here is what I wrote:

Hello,
I would like to know if its possible to have this game optimized to work with the Sony Ericcson Xperia PLAY phone? I feel this would make this game even better as the phone has built in hardware game controls. As I would like to help if you would consider it here are the details on how to optimize this game for the Xperia PLAY.
Taken from this link: http://xperiaplaygamer.net/main.php (under the "Optimize your game" tab.
Thank you for your time and let me know if this is something possible as I know there would be many Xperia PLAY users who would welcome this type of game on our phone over at the XDA thread. Thank you.
Sincerely,
blah blah blah

I also gave them the link to TLRtheory's website and the information on how to optimize this game. I would like to ask that if anyone else is interested to please email the devs at this address:

Hi, really nice to have you here. Grab your seat belt. because we're going for a ride! I am here to teach you something that will change your life! Aren't you excited? Let's begin!
So today we will be talking about a company called ''Google''. It was founded by two Stanford students, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Had they ever imagined the consequence their invention would have? The easy overview and good search results made it the best Search Engine out there. Soon AltaVista was forgotten, and Google was the ****. This day, Google is a multibillion dollar company, and they put a lot of money in developing new stuff. But still, everybody knows Google of their search engine.
Have you ever heard of this magical company and their search engine? Well, at least now you have!
I send you on a mysterious quest to explore the depths of Google. It all starts with typing in ''google.com'' in your browser. Then you type the desired search request(in this situation ''xperia z1 walkman/album/movies''. And you hit that blue button called ''search''.
Magical, isn't it? In a nice list the results will be shown.
This lesson is finished. Homework: search 10 things on Google, and write down what you found. Thank you.
Oh, and you wanted to delete some system apps? Luckily all people are blessed with something called a ''brain''. This organ offers us the ability to think(still hard for some people). Use it to logically think of what apps can be deleted without any consequence.
Did I help you?
Remember to click the ''thanks'' button for this amazing advice and life lesson!

Well, I thought asking here is the best option, I searched the Forums in the Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Themes and Apps , Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E Android Development and Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E General but I can't find anything. However if I search in Google, well I don't trust Google now because of the recent PRISM Data Mining program of the US NSA, Google might redirect me to some site that doesn't even what I am looking for.
Guess WHAT! Buy A BETTER DEVICE to get those APPS because our devices are slow and cant handle Z2 apps
Hello everybody. Just released my first app to the Playstore and want to share it with you guys. I'm not able to post pictures or links, because i'm new to this forum. I would be pleased if you check out my game on the Playstore.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=whostudio.linerivals&hl=en
It's called "Line Rivals". It's a simple and tricky multiplayer-game - you can play with your friends Offline, Online or via Bluetooth. Since the game principle is not that easy to describe in words, i recommend to check out the screenshots in the Playstore.
Thank you for reading .. Have a nice day everybody.
Marc
Hello, Marc! The idea is really interesting, but I think it's hard to play without small hints. Anyway, good luck!
Thanks for your feedback! I really appreciate it. Can you explain what you exactly mean with hints?
Bluetooth problem
Hi Marc,
I recently got your app and I had a problem. I had two 3gen Moto gs with Line Rivals installed on both. The problem was with the bluetooth multiplayer. They connected easily, but after the the first person drew the track and drew their line, it wouldn't let the other player do their turn. I am pretty sure it's nothing wrong with my phone. It looks like a great game to play with another person on bluetooth. How can I get the bluetooth multiplayer to work?
Thanks,
Trevor
