I just tested the ICS update of SU760 but I really don't like the korean version. I hope that ICS for p920 will be released soon.
I have a problem downgrading my phone back to gingerbread V20F but I am stuck in LG logo on start up.
Does anyone here have tried downgrading.? how.?
I used LGFlashtool.

Does anybody plan on posting the new baseband/radio or do we have to use that dangereous LG tool? Thanks in advance peeps!
as of right now, the only way to get it is through lg updater or flashing the kdz file.
Wheres kdz file?

here's the kdz file

and here's the kdz flasher
http://www.mediafire.com/?3hd4ao113lx8gq4
Given how smoothly this went for me I have to wonder about the "dangerous" LG tool. Really think this might be user error in most cases.
Flashing kdz will update only baseband? so no need to restore back to stock?
that's what im trying to figure out... is that just for baseband? lose root?
I will be pumped if it is just this easy!
Sent from my butt using XDA Premium App
The kdz updater will put the entire gingerbread update, including the new baseband on your phone. So yes, you will want to be reverted to stock, unrooted, with stock recovery.
At that point, you can nvflash cwm and flash either of the pre-rooted 2.3.3 roms, or from what other's have reported, you could even flash either a froyo based rom like EB froyo 1.05, or a CM7 rom. I suppose you could nandroid your existing configuration right back over the updated baseband, and have the features you're used to using right now, with the added benefit of the new baseband.
But I'm not sure if the instant GPS lock is a function of the new baseband, or if it's rom-specific...anyone know?

I would be very grateful if someone could explain me how do I flash the KDZ file? Do I need to revert first to stock or can I do it right from my EB1.05 Froyo? I suppose I need to install first this KDZ flasher? I have never done this, so I don't know...
Much appreciated.

It seems to be the new baseband. I'm running a cm7 based rom with the new baseband and I'm still getting the instant GPS locks.
XDA Mobile
i used lg update tool to update last night... in under 10 minutes.. easy and painless... i got the new baseband now... i instantly put cm7 back on using nvflash flashing cwm... so do it if your rooted.. i wouldnt if i wasnt.. possible brick... rooted u can fix anything...
Do I need to go to unrooted stock before I flash this kdz? If so how do I root again as I have read that you cannot root with superoneclick

Follow these instructions step by step and you can update the baseband and then flash/nandroid any rom you like:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=15949846&postcount=37
And the directions for using the KDZ tool is provided by the OP of that thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183168
Hope this helps.
edit: Of course, you realize that flashing roms is at your own risk, and although many of us have found froyo and CM7 based roms to be compatible with the new baseband, our evidence is anecdotal at best.
I updated using the lg update tool with no issues. Took about 10 min.

You can use the kdz tool for either. You will have to download the tool, follow the directions, and download the actual update in kdz format... All in the links provided.

Hi,I would like to flash my P920 from ICS back to the GB since I have no reception at ICS no matter what baseband I install.
Is there somewhere a comprehensive manual and the tools need?

You are not developing something here this belongs to general section.
haha love auto correct on your phone look at the thread title instead of typing GB for Gingerbread your phone thought you meant GB for great Britain and has corrected it to UK hahaha
on topic:
search for "downgrade ICS to GB" maybe you will get something

not to be mean or anything but please say what kind of problem you are having in the header it makes it easyer for people to help you and get a hind of what problem you have whitout having to klick the link (some people are lazy)
That is the issue related to ghost calls, the typical syndrome.
Update to either 21E or 21F or you will continue having ghost calls.

hi all
anyone know when LG gonna release official ics??
i read about custom ics roms but some have BUGS and i am waiting for official version but it is taking too long
LG said it will be in the third quarter of 2012 ,, the third quarter is ended and now we are in 2013 .
LG released ICS for the korean optimus 3D then "xbsall" ported it to all Optimus 3D .
About bugs , I think all of them are solved .
I used ICS for mounths and for me it is OK and working fine with performance and battery life .

AW: [Q] official ics for LG O3D????
If you want a rom without bugs you have to flash ics. Om using darkroom v2 no bugs. If you are new the best way to flash is with OS_Hacking all in one tool. But you have first to read xbsas ported ics. You find it in the board. With the all in ne tool you can flash everything you need.
Good luck

if you never try then you'll never know how far you can reach
