One of the things I like on my Note 5.3 is the S Memo widget that allows you to post the actual notes on your homescreen, so you can see with a glance what's written and you can just click to edit. Unfortunately, our Note 10.1 currently lacks this functionality. Sticky Notes HD Tablet Widget on the Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tremeric.stickynotes.plus) is a pretty good alternative. It allows you to have post-it like notes on your homescreen. You can open a note, or add our delete notes straight from the widget, and you can rotate through all your notes right there on the widget. The actual note taking has only basic functionality, but if you want to be able to jot down little notes and reminders and have quick access to them at a glance, this is a decent solution.

Just a quick notes app that i can easily put reminders and stuffs in. Better if it can be synced somewhere.

Catch Notes for me.
Mobisle Notes is the best notepad IMO. Try it out, free in the market.
I use the one preinstaled on my Fascinate.
Note Everything.
Tons of options, yet still simple. Great widgets, post-its, shortcuts.

Another vote for Catch notes (or AK Notepad same dev, but different UI - only text notes vs image/voice/text notes in Catch) which supports syncing to catch.com.
I use the very simple Epistle which is really great with it's dropbox sync
Mobilism notes, because:
- i can use checkboxes (with reminders)
- I can use indents or subnotes
- put notes on the homescreen as widgets (even edit checkboxes from the homescreen)
- automatically sync with google docs (so i can edit the notes on my computer in google docs).
Another good app that I use is: "QuickNote Notepad Notes"
AK notepad looks good. might try it out.
There's a built in text editor in explorer and root explorer. I used to use other apps but those can serve two functions so why not use it? I don't need anything fancy.
i dont really need one but i use jorte because it was the first one i saw and i think it syncs with this calendar im bout to start using
I use ColorNote, been using since. I got my android phone a few years back now. It backs up messages easy to work with and has a few nice features and its free. Check it out

Quick question... could you pull and post the apk for this? I just got my Galaxy Tab set up with Honeycomb, courtesy of Spacemoose1, and I'd really love to try this out (even if it is just a trial version). I'd really appreciate it, and thank you in advance.
*Edit: Of course, if you're planning on releasing this as a paid app, then please disregard my request. I've really enjoyed your work with Colorize Widget, and I wanted to give this a go, as a tablet-optimized app. Thanks again.
Thank you very much!! Downloading now!

awesome widgets. please make a widget for gmail. thanks!
I doubt a gmail widget will work now. After the gmail API change, all gmail-related counters and widgets are non-functional... :-(

Maybe I'm missing something but where do I go to add the widget to a screen? It doesn't appear where the otehr widgets are
You need Honeycomb in order to use Wizz. If you do have it, just long press the screen, and scroll over to the right, until you see the group of Wizz widgets.

Could you post the .apk file. For some reason I can not download it on my Gtablet. Love your work.

A Gmail widget would be really cool
A weather widget would also be cool
Thanks for your hard work

Gmail would be nice, but it won't work. With the recent API change in gmail, it's rendered all related widgets and unread count features completely useless. Google kinda blindsided devs with this, and there's not much any of them can do at the moment, besides hope that Google rolls out a more developer friendly API... :\

Widgets
I actually paid for the full version, and LOVE it. Awesome work, just what my Xoom needed and deserved.
I can't install a market, I simply get an install error, if I use the .apk from the first post I get a force close when I click theme settings. Any help?
EDIT: Using a Toshiba Tab AT100, Android 3.0.1
This is a great app/widget set. I agree that gmail would be an awesome addition.
I did notice on my DS7 (running Honeystreak) that if I add the reader widget I get sent into a FC loop.
Additionally, as philseven stated above, some of the stack widgets are not visually appearing on the screen. I can grab and remove them, but I'm only guessing at their location.
Great widget, love it!

then login > refresh

Nice
This is an awesome widget set but I don't understand why you can't scroll or even access the next month in the calendar / agenda.
OK I installed from the attached .apk file on my Asus Transformer. I then went to try and add the widget I tapped widgets and scrolled through entire list and no Wizz Widgets are listed do I need to do something else to get it working? Thanks in advance.
UPDATE: Belay this message I shutdown my Transformer and restarted it and they showed up. I love the calendar widget.
Is a useful feature on the note 2. Any way to get it on the note 10.1?
That would be a useful feature for sure! And as far as I can tell it wouldn't be any problem implementing considering the hardware spec. since the device doesn't actually track how far away the pen is but tells if the pen is out and the device is moving with the screen turned of. We know that the tablet feels when the pen is out and do have an accelerometer so it's just a matter of software implementation, if samsung doesn't give us the feature hopefully a third party app will.
any update on this?
Using tasker and note buddy (spen helper) you could set this up.
Setup a profile with note buddy plugin set as pen removed, and then add another condition such as gesture, and have the task be some kind of warning/vibration.

Hi, telling mathematics lesson with the GT-N8013. S note and the full screen when I use solution. Hide its toolbars. Hide Display settings section can be added? Thank you ...
I can't find any way of doing that on the SNote application, and exporting to some regular movie format isn't possible either as far as i can tell.
Your solution however, is spelled LectureNotes and the plugin lecture recording. But then you won't have the shape and math function, which might be a big minus for you.

Snot can be added to the setup menu button hide and show toolbars?
gt-N8005 model available. Thank you for your attention.
Has anybody been able to get the formula option in the snote app? I downloaded the extended features for snote but can't find it.

It's there. Have to transform it.
Still missing some stuff tho. I liked when I could draw a shape and take a picture in it.
