This is not flashable, you will have to manually place it in the data/local or /system/media yourself.
Sorry about the download link guys, its back up. Hit thanks button if you like it.

I couldn't put it on the post as an attachment because it wouldn't let me. That's why I put the link In, shouldn't be too much hassle

[BOOTANIMATION] XoomNexus

This is the Xoom boot animation ported for the Nexus One. All credits go to tntdroid over at the androidcentral forums for his DroidX port.
Instructions
Place in tools folder, open a cmd prompt and:
Code:
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local
Link.
Link2
Alternatively, flash the Xoom-signed file in your recovery of choice:
Link
Note: The little honeycomb bee is not part of the bootanimation but rather seems to be a splash screen, which as of yet N1 users can't change.
Do these instructions apply to the HD Desire port also...like MM's 1.7 build? Or is there some other location to push it to?
Thanks...looks cool.

Edit: was able to dl from the xda app, thanks for adding to post!!
The video doesn't do it justice.
I was hesitance because honestly it didn't look all that with the video.
I tried it and in person it's awesome looking. Thank you.
Also: I used Root Explorer to move the file to data/local
Will this work on MIUI ROMs?

Yep, all N1 ROMs should be compatible, in fact unless I missed something all 800x480 devices should be compatible.
Good news every! This works perfectly!
This would be a sick live wallpaper...anyone? Anyone?

+1 to this. I have rebooted twice in a row just to watch it!
Any possibility of this being made to a flashable zip? If anyone could be kind enough to do so for the more less experienced users it would be greatly appreciated.......thnx.

It is really simple. Use root explorer to place the zip file in data/local. Reboot and enjoy.

I'll have a look into making one tomorrow. I've been meaning to try my hand at making an update-script so I'll have a crack at it then. Oh and baseballfanz is correct, Android Mate also has a root file explorer.

Cool man , appreciate it if you could, not just for me but for others as well. I fully understand all the help and advice thats being givin and will try my hand at all of it, i have no problem with learning more as i go.
i guess my whole point with a flashable zip is just providing more options, i mean i always thought that was the whole concept of open source, providing options....ya know? Again thnx for the responses and all the work everyone puts into the android world, its a fun experience...really is..

There's no stock bootanimation.zip if that's what your looking for because it's just a file imbedded into the rom
Here's the one from the Rogers Jellybean. Looks like the Galaxy S3 but with "Samsung Galaxy S2 LTE" added to the bottom. Unpack to /system/media set permissions to rw/r/r and delete any bootanimation.zip. http://d-h.st/mHi
I'm told you're supposed to use the Samsung Theme Designer to open the QMG files if you want to make a bootanimation.zip instead but the QMGs should work just as well.

It's not working for me either on custom ROMs. I don't know what the problem is yet, but it seems that OnePlus made some patch to allow this bootanimation to be viable on OxygenOS but the patch doesn't exist on Custom ROMs /AOSP/LineageOS so it doesn't work... I'll have a look.
