No one knows when Samsung is releasing the update's and you can ask this question in any other ICS forums no need to create the New thread...
If you want to Flash ICS just follow this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748825

I ask Samsung Polska on FB and they just said "Its not avi yet in Poland". It will be announced on another polish Samsung FB page when update will out. Ask ask them is it gonna be just copy/paste of other releases or we can expect any patch for this thing that can brick our phone. What was the answer? "Its not avi yet in Poland"
/facepalm

Duplicate thread. Please discuss ICS in the thread Vikesh showed you mate :good:

Latest HTC Schubert (HD7) release?

Hi,
First of all I a new to this forum so I can't post in the development section. I have also tried to find an answer to this question and been unable to do so, so I apologise if I have missed it.
I own a HD7 with NoDo and have never flashed it previously. I would like to use the latest release but I wondering if the RUU will backup my device or will I need to do that myself?
Also if I do update my phone with this release, will I need to revert back to NoDo when the update officially comes or with this being a HTC release, can I keep this update?
Thank you
Chris
Im.sorry if this is the wrong forum for a new member. If it is could someone move it to the correct one please.
Hey there, head over to the WP7 D&H forum and do lots of reading, all the info you need to get to Mango is there

You should only post in the dev forum stuff you made/developed
There are a lot of questions already on the Q&A forum about this. Which no one knows for sure yet. So be patient.

Guys guys cool it ..!!
Google said all devices <1 year and Gs and Gs II are eligile for the update and CyanogenMod team said they would release CyanogenModv9 sooner after the ICS source release somewhere in mid of november....!
So, hold your fingers crossed and have a hope that we will get hands on ICS for sure ..!
I don't know if this site is well-known, but...

You could find the answer by searching for it. Or reading in the SGS2 forum.
Yes, it's true. There is not only 4.0.1 but also 4.0.3. But they're both Alpha (or maybe Beta) and not really bug-free.
We don't need the video link, you'll find it in a thread in the SGS2 forum already (it was posted about 3 days ago when the story broke).
You can also google it.
I'd make a friendly suggestion of reading in the forums before posting a question, you'll get much more information that way.

Bro he's already posted the link.. And also use the search bar next time if u r looking for something.. Please don't create new threads unnecessarily..
Requesting the MOD to delete this thread..
Check the thread once.. you will be surprised.. there you will find the solutions for all your queries..
First flash clockworkmod recovery, and after that you can flash ardatdat's kernel v4 or above and it will automatically root the phone for you..
Sent from my GT-I9103
If you are unsure of rooting methods for the indian ics rom then you'll be glad to know that the rooting method for all ics roms is common.. Its not region specific..
And use the Q&A section next time..
Just follow what the others have mentioned..
From my CM10.1 powered galaxy R

[Q] Custom ROM & Future OTA updates

Hello All,
I havent been on XDA for quite some time, I used to flash Cyanogen ROMs pretty much daily a few years ago (on my HTC Hero!).
I now have a Nexus 5 and am frustratingly waiting for an Android Lollipop OTA update which hasn't arrived yet! I am tempted to flash a 5.0 ROM, but wanted to ask if by doing so I will stop receiving future OTA updates from google i.e 5.1 whenever its released. Apologies if this is a dumb question... I've been out of the customisation game for a long time!
Thanks
Calico
wrong forum. you posted in development section. this belongs in q/a section. but yes, if you flash a custom rom you will not get otas.

Sorry, hopefully a mod can move it to the correct section
Ahh... that does complicate things. I don't have as much free time as I used to so I may just stick it out and wait for the official OTA.
Thanks for the reply!
