Hello, I am trying to create a rom with the kitchen, follow the guide of bangalorerohan, followed step by step, but when I try to flash it, I get an error that says:
assert failed: write_raw_image ("tmp / boot.img", "boot")
(status 7)
Nowhere find a solution, the updater-script is created by the kitchen, I use the recovery of tj_style, could anyone help?

Well, it's pretty clearly stated Your CWM doesn't support Amend, aka. CWM 3.x.x.x. If you want to use that .zip, you'll either need to make it compatible with CWM 3.x.x.x (if possible?), or downgrade CWM to 2.x.x.x.
PLEASE keep in mind, this is NOT a forum section for questions. It is for development.
Questions should go in Q&A.
You probably need to ask Lee about implementing ad-hoc in his gingerbread ROM, or go back to froyo and CWM 2.x
I tried to update the system, as seen in settings, and an update showed:
OTA_Chacha_Orange_ES_1.57.75.2-1.57.75.1_release_254246s3gb5rpbhjwgmu6g.zip
But I can't apply it. I think that is because of the modified recovery.
What does that update do?
Does it worth it to reflash the original recovery, and then apply it?
Thanks.
You need stock recovery for OTAs

when you extracted the files there should be a zip file by this name 'image-hammerhead-kot49h.zip'.
Check whether u have that file in the folder or not and if not re download the factory image.
And should look like this
