i am surprised to see there are no threads or active threads discussing the mods that can be done to the transition animations.
i have found few threads in XDA which actually works on Xperia X10.

i have attached the one which has all the effects together used (also which worked on my device)

these are some great animations thanks man but if you want to keep your themed framwork just replace the folder called anim in framework.apk using winrar

I created a folder "X10" the root of my hard drive, and I have pull file 3: adb , AdbWinApi.dll , AdbWinUsbApi.dll
then I launched the command prompt and typed

adb push-res.apk framework / system / framework / framework-res.apk
but after he wrote:

Copy and replace with the animations in framevork res / using. rar / and install new framevork using Chewitt installer

Please help me i dont know how to do it. I copy the framework-res.apk from system/framework to SD and renamre it from apk to rar and open with rar and replace the anim Folder from your Transistion.zip with the one in framework is this right? Where do i need to copy Transition.xml then and when im finished can i just rename it back tu apk and copy it to system/framework with Root Explorer or do i need to do something special?

Transition.xml is not used. It is for if you use this with Ninjamorph or something similar.

Can you post the edited file (Source)
because i have already edited the framework file so i cant replace it
i just pull framework-res.apk and extract it,
edit bool.xml in framework-res\res\values\bool.xml
and change value config_animateScreenLights to false
and compile again
that's it bro

you must extract it using apk manager
and you will find many files extracted into folder
if you are using XXKP9, then just use my file, i've do it for you bro

i can see many files in that
but i cant find the file you have specified
tell me the correct location
i cant use your file because i have ported the overscroll effect to my phone by editing both framework.jar & framework-res.apk

you are using apk manager aren't you?
when extracting done, in your apk manager folder, you will find a folder named projects. in this projects folder you will find framework-res\res\values\bool.xml

yes i noticed that too
don't know why because i only edit one file
maybe apk manager (which compiling files into .apk) is the cause.

i think framework.jar and framework-res.apk are independent
i've use vivek file and my file, it can work together
you can use vivek mod and my mod together, without interrupting each other

Some said, this effect is hardcoded into the gingerbread itself.I don't think it will be easy to port Electron Beam Effect(this is how it named by android).

Hi,
Unzip the ROM you are going to use.
Navigate to system/framework/framework-res
Copy it to your desktop.
Choose the mod you want in the kitchen.
Go to upload files/system
Navigate to your desktop and select framework-res.
Upload the file.
Should work.

i did it!
i have copy it to my computer from my sensation at first.
but when i want to upload the file "framework-res.apk" to the kitchen,it takes sometime ,but in the end kitchen says "security error"!
it can't be uploaded sucessful.
so i don't konw why it can't......

The uot kitchen has been down for a couple of days throwing these errors out.
It is now back online and working.

Same here too,also when ever i try to enter uot, the kitchen will be full,i think the developers instead of cooking android,they sleep as if it is bed room.
All guys leave us place to do something in androi kitchen(for disgusting people who time pass in kitchen)

I feel the same in wanting to climb
framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk Security Error, as I can help solve
same error here 2 not able to upload my files its shows security error
Things you will need: 7ZIP (or other compression tool), An unzipped rom and Notepad++
1. Download the Mod or Theme you wish to add and open it with 7ZIP.
2. Drag all of the folders/files EXCEPT Meta-INF into your rom's folder (copy and replace all of the files that have the same name)
3. In your Mod/Theme, open the updater script with Notepad++ (located in META-INF/com/google/android)
4. Copy all of the text in the Mods updater script and then paste it at the bottom of your rom's updater scipt (they're both in the same location).
5. Save it.
6. Done
I hope this guide will help save some time and enhance your roms (Also, please make sure to ask permission for the work you use!) :good:

There's many guides on the subject but I've never done it personally...have you tried flashing it to see if it works without the need to port? The phones are similar so you may not have too. I have downloaded the batman theme apk (from GS7 Edge) from the link below, change the .apk to .zip and open with winrar or 7zip/. There are sound files in the Sound folder inside the assets folder, might be the ones you are looking for.
