Hi i am new here. I wanted to know how can i root my Samsung Galaxy Y Duos ( GT-S6102 ) so that i can transfer applications from Phone memory to SD Card. Also are there any side effects of rooting your phone?

As I'm new person in the android world and I'm using Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. I'm not at all aware of how to root the Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos 19082; neither I'm aware of the types of rooting and what all to be done done to root the phone. My phone runs extreme slow and hangs out soo many times; I've recently crossed the one year of use of the phone and heard about rooting the phone and changing its internal memory , RAM, ROM and etc.
Can I get the exact knowledge about how to do this and all?
