Bought my One S yesterday for $0 after the $50 rebate. Classic plan is still less expensive than AT&T considering T-Mobile's new unlimited data plan. On top of that get the corporate 15% discount on the $400 I will pay over the value plan and I have an insurable One S through T-Mobile and Wells Fargo credit card for $360. Not a bad deal and beats buying one on craigslist.
So, be carefull.... what you think is full price may not be exactly true. $450 comes to mind.

Sorry guys the email I obtained was incorrect I edit to avoid confusion

Wow. Lucky!
Off what?
Isnt there 3 of these threads now?
99.
-50 recycle rebate at RS
$49 dollars
I paid $79 with contract
BUT I am grandfathered on a very old unlimited data plan plus 200 SMS for $35.
Also I'm happy with AT&T so why not?

128.99 with contract extension from wal-mart. It was only 99.99 at ATT, but they didn't have any in stock and I wanted one right then
$80 on contract at Costco.
Swyped from my Desire HD using XDA App
My buddy just picked one up for free with a contract extension. The guy at att said he was a good customer.
$99 on contract (best buy)
Via the XDA app for the HTC Inspire
130 out of pocket in total 380 (sold my captivate on craiglist for 250)

$90 after taxes but before the $18 upgrade fee from Costco. Includes an accessories bag, which has a belt case, crappy headphones and a working car charger which I was very happy about. This is on contract by the way.
69.99 Amazon with contract.
I want eligible for upgrade, att gave me $249 but added few of accessories and bluetooth. Phone came to $179. I check best buy, best they could was sell me retail.
Note that another att store i went to say $299 for my situation. 2nd att store is $249 befire the extra acc i bought the same time. Didnt hesitate. Although my next upgrade date is 2 years from now. And i still kept the unlimited data plan.
Not bad of a deal afterall, considering that i shelled out $700 for the touch pro wgen it first came out (dumb move)
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
I paid 299 each for them with early upgrades on non data lines, but had them add the phones to the 2 data lines. My kids dont need data on thier lines.
I feel the phone is worth it and i have been waiting a long time for att to get something like this in. Im not sure if im going to keep using the inspire or the dell, yet. But my wife feels better now that she has a real replacement to the EDGE only hd2 she had before the crapdivate she just replaced.
$70 on contract with amazon and new contract but convinced ATT to give me a statement credit because my last phone's screen died three days ago after 10 months, so it was free
...except for the upgrade fee
I might just have to get one off Craigslist but its like 400 bucks.

$49.99 from AT$T , off contract but with a new commitment. It was a knife in my side to " re-up " with AT$T because they suck so bad.
Would have gone to T-mobile, but really wanted this phone. Here's hoping that AT$T bites the dust now that their cash cow ( iPhone ) has been spread a little thinner.

That means that my 2 year contract from my Tilt ended and I was free to take my number to another carrier with no early termination fees to AT$T.
After 18 months AT$T will allow you to upgrade your phone at a discounted price if you sign a new 2 year contract. But you cannot go to another carrier until your contract is up.
I had to sign another 2 year contract, so AT$T will easily make up the cost of the phone by taking everything I own and my first born child in outrageous service/data plans and obnoxious fees. There is a reason they are at the bottom of every customer satisfaction survey. They work hard to be there

Costco the way to go!!!

Walking into T-mo store, I was thinking the the Sensation is $199 with two year contract. Well it was $249 after mail in rebate. So I would have to pay $299 plus tax... Is that what they really are at every T-mo store? They were also telling me this deal where I pay $249 plus tax but I pay $10 a month for the phone for 20 months? That sounded ridiculous honestly.
That was just too much for me so I hit up my local costco and they have it for $129 after $50 mail in rebate.
They also give you a free bluetooth earpiece, leather case, and car charger on any new phone. Costco is the ****tt!!! BTW, their MT4Gs are 29.99. damn costco gots the hookup!!!
The $10 a month thing comes with a lower service plan cost.

There pricing is very similar to Costco. Is there a mail in rebate for that as well? If so, with no tax, Sams Club is offering one hell of deal as well!
I paid $179 + tax. $219.86 out the door. No activation fee and a $50 mail in rebate. I hate rebates but whatever, I'll take it. They also give you free accessories. bluetooth, car charger, and leather case. In the end, I've learned to never walk to into a T-mo store ever again. $299 - $50 rebate... JEEEZZZ

thats target online and you have to wait, costco they give you back your activation fee on your first bill. also you have a 90 return policy at costco... sams sucks, target sucks. if you want to buy a cell phone go to costco first. and the mytouch in my area is actually free
Sadly no mail in rebate. But still a heck of a deal.

Don't know if still is the same price but I got my sensation for $160, that includes tax, at walmart

Would you need a new 2 year contract with this deal they offer at costco or sams or can you get this deal if you already in a two year contract?? For the MT4G
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA Premium App
One benefit of costco is that you can return your phone within 90 days and get a full refund or use it as a credit for another phone.
I am holding on to the sensation until the galaxy S II comes out. If I dont like the galaxy SII i can always go back to the sensation.
Oh how the times have changed.
I paid 149.99 for mine at Virgin Mobile Canada, no contract, phone on tab.
costco has a different phone on special each week. last week here the costco had the mytouch for free the galaxy 4g for 30. if you just wait to see when the phone goes on special you get a hell of a deal and if you get it then next week your phone goes lower you can ask for the price difference back with in the first 30 days. the Only down fall is they have different pricing for new contracts and upgrades.
I wasn't fully upgrade eligible, so my only reasonable choice was to go through T-Mobile. My.tmobile.com and the T-Mobile retail location bother wanted $329 before rebate + tax + upgrade fee. It would have cost like $375 up front and I'd get $50 back in the mail. I called customer loyalty and they gave it to me for $199 + tax, no rebate necessary and waived the upgrade fee and shipping cost. Total I paid $136 up front and the other $100 split over my next 3 months bills. In all I saved about $150 by calling. I didn't have to complain or threaten to cancel or anything like that.

My sister and brother inlaw both got theirs at target for $99 actually my brother inlaw traded his rooted hd2 in got a 105 back for it so he pretty much walked out with a free sensation.. in total they paid about 100 something for both phones.. I was shocked.. no rebates no nothing just a family 2 year contract
thanks for the heads up on target,, confirmed im picking one up tomorro in the store for 99....no extra fees just the "upgrade" fee (which i will try to get tmo to waive bc its ridiculous)... they also have a trade in option... I have an old blackberry 8900 curve they are going to give me $40 for.. In all, I will walk out with a new sensation for $60 !!!! crazy deal
by the way, the deal is only thru the 30th
Bought mine from Costco too for all the same reasons mentioned in this post....great price ($249 + $30 tax = $279 - $50 mail-in rebate for a grand total of $229), free accessories and 90 day return policy. Sweet! Right? Well, I went to Walmart a few weeks later and saw the phone advertised for $149 w/ the same 2-year contract renewal...and NO mail-in rebate needed to get this price. Seeing how I don't use the free bluetooth or leather case that Costco packaged w/ the phone, I would have much preferred to walk out of Walmart w/ the phone for $80 less. (boo-hoo) Oh well, you live and learn to shop around 1st.

$249+ 30 tax is a bit high for Costco... You must have bought yours right when it came out?
I hope I'm not off topic here but, I purchased mine through Walmart.com (aka let's talk) for $139, no activation fees and no shipping fees.

If you guy SGII then the SGII Skyrocket.... I got great news

I called them and argued that my "NEW" phone was old and I shouldnt have to pay a restocking fee so i got my $35 dollars refunded to my credit card bill.
Also ( I asked for 100 dollars off at the point of my SGII purchase)
so I ended up getting the phone for 250-100-35= 115

I purchased the SGII October 20th online for $199 because they didn't have it in my att store and then on Nov 7th I went into the att store and exchanged it for the skyrocket, not only did I not have to pay the $35 restocking fee but they are offering the skyrocket for $149, so I got a $50 refund
The $150 price is only in certain markets. It's still $250 here

Samsung Galaxy S4 for $574..?

I'm curious of what you guys/gals think about this:
Currently I'm an AT&T subscriber and I'm planning to switch to T-Mobile.
If I buy the phone from AT&T, it'll equate to: $199 + $14.88 (tax) + $36 (activation fee) = $249
The ETF for AT&T is $325.
$249 +$325 = $574.
Is this something I should pursuit? I know AT&T will unlock the phone if you pay the ETF. Are there any hidden fees or anything else that should stop be from this?
Tax will not be of the 200, that is the subsidized price but taxes have nothing to do with subsidization.
Taxes are applied to the full price of the phone.
Also I don't think Lte will work. I would not pursue it.

I think taxes on the full price only apply in California and Rhode Island.
2 other people confirmed their states did too although I don't remember their states.
I would still not recommend it. To save a few bucks you might sacrifice network compatability.

If you renew your contract online, they either do by billing address and/or shipping address. I'm pretty sure they go by your billing address that is listed on your carrier contract.
I bypassed the CA taxes with my iPhone 4 by just going to Reno NV and buying the iPhone 4 from the Apple store. Taxed on $199.

You will have to pay the first month of service as well which will be around $90+ taxes. If you return it too soon (14 days I believe) they will just take back the phone with a 10% restocking fee and not charge the ETF so you must keep it AT LEAST 2 weeks.

are you really surprised though? they're already losing money at $199, now its just getting as many people on their networks / extending their contracts. They could give this away for free, but then that would set a precedent for all top-line android devices.
The sale has been going on for about a week now. I got price matched last week, thankfully.

They were giving it for free when it launched. $199 buy one get one free and $100 per line bill credit equals free for 2 new lines.
Add in the ISIS activation credit and they were actually paying you to take 2 new HTC One M8 phones out the door at Verizon. I took them up on it and promptly sold one of the new phones for $700 to cover my ETFs.

We have three lines. One for me, my wife, and transferring upgrades.
So, I transferred the upgrade from my unlimited line to my dumb phone line and bought my wife an S5. It's been a few weeks, and I noticed my unlimited line is still eligible for an upgrade. So I transfer the upgrade to the dumb phone line, and order myself the M8 for $99.
Did I just unlock unlimited discounted upgrades?
