(Xoom 2me) Xoom 2 me or Nexus 7 16 gb - Xoom Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello
The Xoom 2 ME, just had a prize drop where i live. So its about 34 USD or 27 EUR cheaper than the Nexus 7 16 gb estimated prize, when it comes for sale in a month. (Where i live). Most of the opinions i have read about the Xoom 2 ME, was with old fw, before the ics was released.
Has anyone had booth and actually prefered the zoom 2.

I'd definitely get the Nexus 7 - I've had a Xoom 2 ME for about a year, and Motorola's support of it has been shockingly poor.
The wifi is flakey, software updates are non-existant (ICS still not on it, Jelly bean unlikely to ever arrive), and the location of the power and volume buttons is just stupid.
The Nexus 7 has none of those issues that I can see.

Thanks
The part about lacking fw opgrades and missing support, was what i was fearing abot purchasing the Motorola.

Hardware wise xoom 2 look and feel more premium. The cpu power is more than enough for most android programs but if you are a fan of those silly mobile games nexus 7 is better. The only real advantage of nexus 7 is the software support. When i am at home i pick up the tablet that is closer to me. When the tablets are equally near by me , most of the times i pick up xoom2 me because of the largest screen. When i leave home i will take with me nexus 7. I am not using tablets for lots of reasons... Most of the times i use them for rss or book reading and to quickly check my emails... In that price are not a bad purchase so choose with in mind what you need the tablet for

I wouldn't really say silly mobile games, considering we have games like GTA3, Dead Space, NOVA 3, Modern Combat 3 and other "premium" games that are pretty amazing graphically and whose touch controls are quite well implemented.

@ OP:
Don't get a Xoom 2 anything if you value software updates/support even a little bit.

Nexus 7 - why? Because it is a development device, so it's more common you receive better and sooner updates, than on Xoom 2, that has a real poor support from both Motorola Developers or XDA Developers, because of it's complicated bootloader and Hardware. More than that: Nexus 7 is Tegra 3, while Xoom 2 is Tegra 2, yea, both run really good, but if you want to play the newest games, consider a Tegra 3. And at last, but not least, I'd buy a Xoom 2 if I was going to use for like watching movies, playing games with a bigger screen, watch YT videos, and that kind of stuff, because of the bigger screen, I already have a Xoom, and sometimes I watch movies with it and looks good, but I will buy a Nexus 7 too, because for internet browsing, reading books and gaming (more performance) it's really good. Now go for your needs good luck

Maybe i just me but i haven't spent more than 20 minutes in all those premium games. I consider myself a hard core gamer. I played or tried almost all major pc games for the last 25 years. Any how nexus 7 have better software support and a great community, is far more hack friendly and better cpu. Xoom 2 cheaper bigger screen rear camera hdmi and premium materials made....

Its just you. I got NOVA 3 just this week on the summer sale and have easily spent >5 hours playing it and have only gotten through the first 3 parts. There is also multiplayer online or over wifi available. Same story for Modern Combat 3. Asphalt 6 is another great one with multiplayer support and I believe cross platform support. GTA III.....easily countless hours, given that its a GTA game. I also have Mass Effect: Infiltrator that is fairly difficult and I haven't completed yet and Max Payne, also got on sale when it launched I think, which should provide similar game time to GTA III.
So yeah, the tech is finally there where we can have "premium" mobile games, and not just silly, time killing ones like Angry Birds.

Nexus S and iPad best combo?

I came from an iphone 4 and I'm now loving the nexus and android operating system. I'm looking for a tablet to compliment my phone and can't decide on the iPad or Xoom. I love certain aspects of iOS including speed of browser and the large number of apps and I've already purchased a bunch. Honeycomb also doesn't seem fully developed yet. I figure with nexus and iPad I get the best of both worlds. Thoughts?

Welcome to android. When it comes to tablets I'd advise against either of the two at the moment. The ipad is basically a giant iphone and the xoom is too new. If you want a tablet this month I'd suggest the asus Eee pad transformer, but the market for tablets is catching fire and come august you'll be able to get kalel powered quad cores and ice cream sandwiches.

I have an ipad. Id say go with that because honeycomb doesn't have many apps and although the ipad seems like a giant iPod, its not. I tether the phone with it and its great for browsing and viewing documents and emails and watching movies. Plus I like having one ios device because there are so many apps for it. so i say get the ipad. I love the Combo.

I'm leaning towards an iPad because then I can have apps for either OS. Also have a MacBook Pro at home that integrates with it perfectly.

I'm planning on buying a tablet any day now, and the Xoom was my plan. I want to see why you think an ipad is better based on your description of what you do. Browsing: android 3.0 essentially has chrome on it=win. Viewing documents: I'm not sure of the honeycomb support, but in terms of pdfs adobe is there, and for basic docs google docs has that down. The email/gmail applications on the ipad and xoom are basically identical, and watching movies would seem better since the xoom has a higher res screen (although the ipad is brighter). Yes there are many iOS apps, but what does that matter if you don't use them. Could you name some that the the Xoom doesn't have? I can't see what else you would want that android doesn't have. If you have any in mind let me know, I can still be swayed towards an ipad.
I don't mean to rub anyone the wrong way......or the right way, but I just don't see how that argument is very good.
If you have an android phone I think iPad its nice complement for some games not available on android like asphalt, field runners, plants vs zombies as well as others for your kids and adults.

I couldn't imagine paying for the same apps twice.
I have a gTablet running Vegan 5.1.1, overclocking the Tegra2 to 1.4 ghz. It's really fast, runs the apps I need/want...think LogMeIn Ignition, Quick Office, Need For Speed, Netflix (with a little hack). The gTab cost me $285 with no more need to spend on apps. I don't feel like I need a $50 case for it. An old netbook sleeve works fine. I sync it with iTunes via iSyncr WiFi on my HTPC Mac Mini. the battery lasts for over 8 hours. When I need to get real work done on the go, I take my 11" Macbook Air w/BootCamp Win7 with me instead of the gTab.
I like the iPad/2, but just really don't want to fragment my mobile apps...just doesn't make sense.
...oh, and the Gtab has Honey Comb. Not quite 100%, but rapidly getting there.
I would also say ipad you can purchase/rent movies plus all the apps. I love Google but I'm not a Motorola fan and the Xoom is in my opinion the only viable Android option now. Not to mention there are not that many dedicated 3.1 apps yet.

I wouldn't pay for the same apps twice. I have apps I already paid for with my iPhone. I would buy apps for the iPad that android doesn't offer.

I also have the Gtablet running vegan 7 ginger edition, while a decent tablet at a great price, the iPad has a much better screen both visually and functionally (better touch response). I suspect the screen on the xoom is equal or better than iPad

I have the Nexus S, an iPad and an Apple TV 2 which i use for Xbmc. I plan to get an android tablet because so far there's nothing major that I have on iOS that Android doesn't have. Splashtop, RTM, Pandora, Netflix, Lastpass, XBMC remote, Tweetdeck are all available on Android. You may have to wait a few months for them to be optimized for tablets, but the same thing happened when I got the iPad

Ahh...then go for what you like the best....sounding like the iPad2. It's the best tablet out right now, depending on your budget.
I have a Nexus S and an ipad 2. I think for now it is a good combo. I am loving Android, but I find the honeycomb tablets with tegra 2 chips a little disappointing. I suggest waiting for the hc hardware to mature before buying.

I wasn't really doing a comparison. I was just saying that I have an ipad and nexus s like the op is thinking about doing. The things I use it for the ipad does perfectly. apps like keynote and penultimate are hard to beat, as is the fluid browsing on the ipad. It just gets the job done for me and I prefer having one ios device since both OS's are nice. Plus the 8-10 hour battery life is nearly impossible to beat. I was just talking about my experience and how I'm satisfied. That's what she said.

Get the Xoom or wait for another Android tablet then.
How can you have flash support on your phone but not on your tablet where you require a full web experience?
The only thing I reckon that's better about the iPad is the fluidity but that that has been countered well in later versions of Android. I used the Xoom for a whole day and I didn't notice any lag or problems like that. Some apps are not tablet optimised but Honeycomb is brand new and Google are really on top of their mobile game these days it seems, so development will come soon.
Most good apps are available on Android or they have their own (sometimes better) counterparts and alternatives to the iOS apps.
Apple has good technology, I just can't understand why they don't want to implement it in their mobile iOS devices.
I never missed flash on my iPhone and after using the Nexus S for two weeks I think I used it once to view a menu at a local restaurant. That's def not a deciding factor for me. Still on the fence just seems redundant to have two Android devices for me. If I get an iPad I can ensure I can access any mobile apps released.

No one can solve this dilemma but you. It's comparing apples to pears: the screen's resolution is different, the underlying hardware is to a large extent different, the available storage solutions are different, the charging keyboard dock (which I find great) is obviously a definite plus.
Resolution is one area where these two are comparable due to pixel density. Both are at the top of their respective size classes and will have very crisp, clear text. The Nexus 7 is pretty much a mini infinity minus the dock, hdmi and sd.
But the problem is you don't seem to know what you want. If your interest in the infinity is based on it being the 'it' tab, not on any particular feature, it probably isn't a good buy. Think about what you want to do with a tablet, and think about which tablet meets those criteria.
PS Asus is a massive company, perfectly capable of juggling many different product lines.
What the hell,
Just order TF700 from Amazon...3 to 4 weeks wait. Damn......................
I just ordered a TF700T about an hour ago on Newegg, it's shipping out tomorrow, should have it in 2 days.
They seem to be out of stock again though. Glad I was able to grab one because of Newegg's notifications!
damn bro im in the same situation especially with the asus hybrid tablet ultra books coming out later with windows 8 and dual booting into android. but i need a tablet now and especially in the fall for school. but for 199$ the nexus is so temping damn
Had the same issue myself and could not decide until i really thought about what i needed it for....just like the person said in a couple of posts above.
Since i really want it for business first (I'm in sales) i realized i really needed the bigger screen and the ability too add removable storage.
i went to my local TMobile store and checked out both screen sizes in other tablets and it seemed that the 7" was a little too small for me.
While, i don't need a camera (since i have one on my phone) it is nice that will be able to take photos of documents and sales orders and email them directly from the tablet.
So I agree, think about what your needs are, and go somewhere to check out the sizes if you are not sure.
However....that said, i bought my wife one instead of an Amazon kindle, and it shipped already, and i ordered it after my 700

All the reviews out there say otherwise. There's a reason they went with a faster version of the Tegra 3.
When Jelly Bean arrives, the screen will be the last of the issues we will be concerned about. Asus just released both devices but you can be sure we will likely see jelly bean in the not so distant future seeing how long they likely had the source code

Asus never announced a tablet that dual-boots into Android. It was a full size All in One desktop computer, that thing could never be carried around as a tablet it's three times the size of the largest Android tablet...

We will see Jelly Bean from someone soon. I think the CyanogenMod team might start developing CM10 for the Infinity, they just sent out a preview build of mostly everything running on the TF101 and TF201.
There were rumors before Jelly Bean came out that JB itself would be equipped (maybe parallels-esque) to dual boot windows for those manufacturers who wanted to put both on a system. Didn't pan out, though back then we though JB = 5.0. Maybe the real 5.0 will come ready to dual boot. But a number of Asus windows systems licensed bluestacks for android app emulation, perhaps that was what he was thinking of.
I am thinking about picking up a Nexus 7 for my son so he wont want to play games on my infinity. I still go back and forth between a 7 or a 10 inch tablet. Not being able to expand the memory on the Nexus 7 I think is a deal breaker for me.
My infinity TF700 should be here today..(UPS)
Why I,m i still thinking about buying the Nexus 7?
I believe that each tablet has different use cases. The Infinity allows for a little more productivity with the keyboard attachment as well as a incredible screen for viewing HD movies. The Nexus 7 lends itself to portability, reading (love reading Pocket on my Kindle Fire), and streaming content. To me the Infinity is better for me as I want productivity and all day battery life when I'm at school and/or work and the screen is going to be great for watching video on it.

i own both nex7 and infinity they are both great, i use infinity for all my tegra 3 games since it has a much better screen imo and faster gpu, plus has longer battery life with the dock, but on the other hand i take my nex7 everywhere because of the size and with the tab talk app i rarely pull out my gnex i just do it all on the nex7, so i would say infinity if your at home alot or sitting at a desk often and the nex7 if your always on the go and need portability.

No-one else can answer this question except you. That means you need to do your own research.
Everyone has a different opinion - why do you value their opinion more than your own? What they consider important may not matter to you.
For example, I use my Tab when travelling so for me it is important to have plenty of storage for music, videos, films etc. Therefore the lack of an external SD card slot on the Nexus 7 is the deal breaker for me.
However, if expandable storage is not an issue for you then why would you take my advice? The Nexus 7 has better specs than the Tab 2 7.0 and reportedly runs smoother. Maybe that matters more to you than it does me.
Everything you buy is a compromise one way or another - nothing is perfect. The balance of compromises differs from person to person.
Don't be a sheep, make up your own mind. If you are simply going to follow others blindly without researching the options first then why not get an iPad mini?
I've bought the P3100 back in july, on a 2 year contract from Orange, thinking i'd use it a lot outside the home and needing the 3G. That was not the case and I almost never use the mobile data. I also tought I'd need expandable memory for games, buying a 32gb card, but I don't really need it since you can't install apps on the SD card(without rooting) and I'm not so much into media. So I ended up using it daily, for 30 min or so, surfing on the web plus evernote, mail, checking weather, stuff like this. But it's not a very confortable device for internet browsing, due to the 16:9 small display and the not-so-smooth scrolling. Putting on top of this the fact that it's a bit laggy when simply scrolling through the app drawer or the home screens (4.0.3 ICS), my first tablet is not how I want it. And I've waited Jelly Bean for ever. SO yeah, get a Nexus device.
I have tried both on some games and apps, they both perform really well. On one side GT2 7.0 is only single core processor, but can play games and apps on the same level as nexus 7, and it also have an external sd card that can hold your game data file. On the other Nexus 7 screen is more nice and clearer, and also asus ussually is fast in releasing new updates for their tab. But it's really up to you do some more research, and choose the best for your money.

*Galaxy tab 2 have dual core processor
I say it all depends on what you need it for. The biggest drawback with that Nexus 7 is the lack of a mini sd slot. I was originally going to pick up a Nexus 7 but went with the Tab instead. Just being able to throw a 64 gig card on it and load it up with a bunch of comics, music, and movies, I mean that alone was enough for me. My biggest complaint about the Tab, is that, it's just not as well built as the Nexus 7 and I feel like it chugs here and there, I like touchwiz on my Galaxy s3 but not on the Tab. If you feel like you're going to download a lot of games, apps, etc. then go with the Tab, if you're only going to use it as a web browser, email, streaming movies, etc. go with the Nexus.

There's nothing wrong with picking up an iPad mini. I was going to pick one up, but that's because I had invested so much money in buying apps on iOS since I own an iPad and felt it wouldn't make sense to rebuy all those apps again on Android. To each their own and yeah, I did a lot of research on the Tab2 and youtubed a lot of videos reviews :good:

Apologies, my tongue was firmly in my cheek and no insult was intended.
iPads have their place, and there are sectors of the market where people are served best by Apple's products. I can respect anyone who buys an iPad having first done their research and having reached a reasoned decision based on sound knowledge and logic.
However, I cannot understand those who buy blindly simply because others are doing so. The badge should not be that important (in my opinion).

Buying the note a mistake?

I got my 16 gb wifi note a few days back. I had the option of choosing between the asus infinity and the note and I chose the note. I'm a student so I mainly use the note for education and gaming.
So here are my question:
1.)Should I have bought the asus tab instead as it has a better display or does it not make that much of a difference.
2.) In how many years do you think the note will be outdated. i.e. Not be able to run any of the high end games?
3.) Is the Note or the Infinity better for gaming?
Please telI me I made the right choice.
Thanks.

I am also a student and I absolutely love my note 10.1. If I want to watch media on a high end display, then I don't turn to my tablet. I can't tell you the Note 10.1 is amazing for gaming, watching movies, etc. I can tell you it's amazing for getting things done. The spen, and apps such as lecture notes, have completely changed my life. I spend hours taking notes, doping assignments, and pulling together material from sources and texts. All of that is faster and easier on the Note. I'm at the point where I don't know what I'd do without the S-pen. It's saved me countless hours of rewriting notes, scanning them, searching for previous work, and editing the notes/work I have done.
Look, if you just want to watch videos and play games, there are better options.
If you are trying to get work done, then you want the note.

Yes you should wait in the PC Mobile Smartphone Tablet world their is always something new . But it is a constant redeveloping circle and the only decision you can make is based on when you want to buy and the price for a product that does what you want .

I've seen the note as low as 300 usd so the price has dropped a lot. I bought mine for 550 and I still think it was worth it. If you can find one for that low I'd pick it up.

I made the wrong choice the first time around when I was in your position. Despite my initial feeling on the s-pen. I come to find it to be the greatest pointing device ive ever used. Im not an artist either. It provides mouse over function on the web and a degree of pointer precision that is to die for. Copy paste is a f'n breeze. Im also addicted to s-note.
But the real deal breaker for the asus was the ram. 2gb is what your going to want if your looking for extended usefull life. Some might disagree..but they are wrong...lol. plenty of speed tweaks eatup ram. Opera browser has some bad ass options that eat up ram but make the browser faster than any other ive used. So when you only got 1gb....you probably shy away from these options.
I didnt see the display difference. Sure I like how solid and cool the asus looks ans feels. Not a fan of the softer toyish artsy feel of the note 10.1. But IMO the note 10.1 is a better device with better longevity.

Thanks.

1.) No.
2.) Get an Xbox
3.) You said you use the Note for education and gaming, so even if Infinity might be better for gaming (no idea), Note >>> Infinity when it comes to education, so it definitely was the right choice

I've been using the note for a few days now. I currently have asphalt 7, real racing 3, gta 3 and dead trigger installed and I must say the gaming performance is pretty awesome! No lag at all on any of these games. The graphics are pretty good as well. So I think the gaming is as good as it's gonna get on Android. Yeah I think I made the right choice.!:thumbup:

It doesn't matter what you buy today, in 3 months, something better faster and cheaper will be out. The main thing is that you are using the device now instead of just thinking about it. The Note can definitely help more with your education, which is a lot more likely to affect what devices you can afford in a few more years. You made a good decision. Now quit playing games and do your schoolwork!

Get that new Note out and take notes on what this guy says!
Seriously though, if you want to game, get a gaming console. While the Note 10.1 runs most mobile games quite well, I really only see these games for filling time between class, killing time while traveling or procrastinating some homework, not extended play time.
The Note will change your life as a student. I am so much more organized than I ever thought I could be with the Note. Having all my course work with me all the time and even past courses makes it easy to find what I need when I need it.
The transition in is different, just embrace it! Once you start to really use the Note to your advantage you'll wonder what you ever did without it.

I'm a student, too. I own the Note for about a week and it's great. The resolution is big enough for any practical purpose and 2 gigs of RAM are definitely better than one. There is an annoying little problem with making hardware keyboards work properly, but it hopefully is solvable. I also fell in love with the SPen almost instantly. Actually, now it seems to me that a tablet without a stylus isn't even half as useful as it could have had been.

[Q] I'm buying a tablet... what are your thoughts on your device now?

I am in the market for a tablet. I have had plenty of Android phones so I'm very familiar. I have no desire to get an iPad(let's get that out of the way up front) but I've been debating an Android tablet or a Windows 8 tablet. I'm currently contemplating a Note 10.1 but am a little nervous about it's age. We all now that a device that's a almost a year old (gulp) is almost ancient (I'm not knocking it because I'm still considering buying it). So...my question is this:
Given the current options, would you buy a Note 10.1 again? If not, what would you buy instead? Thanks everyone!

Its a great tablet and givin it's age it's still the best one available that runs on android, that's my opinion. I haven't used a windows tablet so I can't say anything about them

I would say the Note 10.1 is still the best out there, besides which the S Pen really sets it apart from the competition.
As for Windows 8 tablet vs Android tablet you just have to look at the relative sales for each format to see Android is way out in front and has a comprehensive eco system to match. Microsoft are very much like Apple in that they like to lock their customers in to their own proprietary eco systems, being primarily open source, you don't have to suffer this major limitation with Android.
I've had several Android tablets now and my favourite before the Note 10.1 was the original Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Note 10.1 is a great leap forward.
Still using it everyday, with browsing, drawing and even watching TV with a dvbt-receiver This thing is effectivity and entertainment in its profoundest sense...

If i were u I would narrow it down between the nexus 10 and the note 10.1
The nexus 10 has better specs abviously and it will allways has the updated software and the screen is fantastic
I own a note 10.1 so I'll tell u some features on the note 10.1 that I cant live without
1) the multi-window multitasking believe me its very handy and I use it all the time
2) s-pen I actually only use it in some Web pages as a cursor on the menus of that site
3) sd card I dont have to point the advantage here
And if ur worried about the speed of this device I find it rarely ever lagging
But if it was my choice I would pick non of that list I would wait for the next generation of note 10.1 that device will have the display of the nexus 10 and even better specs and more features
If you are doing a lot of writing S Pen is something you just need to have. If not - get Nexus 10, it's also made by Samsung so component quality should be similar.

What DVDT receiver are you using? Would be cool to get...
A simple guide to tablets today: Are you going to use the tablet for work, or studies? Then the Note 10.1 is without competition in the Android section and there won't be another similar this year since Samsung recently released their 8 inch version. Depending on what you're using it for and your budget the relatively new Samsung Series 7 Slate (or something) is worth checking out, it's a bit larger with 11.6 inch but it got a full windows which of course makes it more of a working machine for obvious reasons (MS Office, Matlab and other full version app to mention a few). It's not as handheld though, but I've not seen it irl so I'm not sure how heavy and bulky it really is and it's about twice as expensive.
If you're typing alot the Asus transformer series is of course something to consider, especially if you like building quality.
But if you just want a tablet for surf, maybe games and movies/pictures I believe the best one out there is Nexus 10.

I bought a note 10.1 today after thinking hard Nexus10 vs. I have and like a Nexus7. But I wanted larger, and felt the rear camera and sd card capability made the important decision parts for me. Costco was $479 today. Couple days ago it was $429. 《Sigh》
WIsh I could get rid of the Samsung embedded apps. That is a disadvantage, the Nexus is clean. Almost like I bought it from Verizon. Wonder how clogged up a vz note is《g》
Thought hard about ASUS transformer and the dock. But saw too much griping online. And no local knowledgeable vendor. Though I likes asus mobos and their nexus 7, I couldn't afford to buy a dud. Besides there are so many variation of the tf700 out there that it is hard to know what you are looking at.
Different direction....
I realize you guys may all laugh at my indecisiveness but this tablet was for work. I went to Best Buy to look at a Note 10.1 in person and for close to the same price I noticed I could get a pretty decent laptop. I'm probably gonna get this :
http://www.amazon.com/ASUS-K55N-DS81-15-6-Inch-Laptop-Black/dp/B00B7K11MI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
It has ridiculously good specs for a cheap price which I can't argue with. I appreciate all of your help!!

Thats all good but the purpose of a tablet is the size and weight which makes it so portable. I rarely use my laptop. It pretty much just sits there collecting dust. I only use it for photoshop and a couple other programs once in a blue.

Yeah I hear you completely but the more I compared a laptop vs a tablet I realized that I'd be limited on several programs I use on a desktop. A laptop would allow me to still use music creation software, vector manipulation and a few others that I wouldn't really be able to do on a tablet without sacrificing performance. I have come to agree that the note 10.1 would currently be the best tablet choice for what I was hoping to do but a laptop is the way to go for me at this point. Thanks everybody!

I got my Note 10.1 about a month ago after struggling with Note 8.0 quality issues (more than 10 checked and all just poor). I have used a lot of tablets and while it got some time to get used to the low res screen of Note 10.1, after a while it won't bother you anymore. This tablet is really wihtout competiton if thinking of something you can really use daily for work and fun. Also the battery life is excellent. As I have said before, I have no use for a tablet without "S Pen" anymore

I've had both the 10.1 and TF700, and the TF700 is a beauty. If your into rooting and tweaking, the TF700 can be made completely smooth, lagfree, and with no problems. Out of the box, its pretty silly, with some work its the same if not for sure better in real world performance than any other tablet on Android.
The battery in the dock, full usb slot, micro sd, full sd card slot, and most of all the far superior screen is what sold me on it. It really depends on what your going to be using it for, I use it for class and the dock is invaluable as well as all of the extended memory. I also watch plenty of HD movies and they are crystal clear which is a plus. But I definitely see the appeal of the Spen, but I'd never use it.

Full circle haha
So... I bought that laptop. The DVD drive didn't line up to open or close properly. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I returned it for a replacement. The second one came and the mousepad didn't left click properly. Long story short, a returned that one for a refund... (I guess that's what happens when you try to buy a $380 laptop).
I ordered this tablet this morning and I'll just stick to my desktop for anything that requires more processing power: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10440897&PID=2923696&SID=
