I flashed the latest CM10 build and I'm having an issue with my signal. It constantly keeps going out. I tried going back to stock and reflashing and I'm still having this problem. Is there any other solution to this?

Has anyone tried installing a custom rom and kernel? If so, does the issue still persist? Just trying to see if this is an issue with stock rom or kernel, or just radio.
I have cataclysm and Franco r11 and today out of nowhere I lost phone signal all day, but when I switched off wifi, it's back. not sure if I have messed something up, I'm currently searching for posts with help.
I basically have no signal ever since I flashed the roms. It says no service. The signal will go when I wake the device and sometimes it comes back when i connect to wifi. It is acting really weird. I dont remember exactly when this happened but I have been overlooking it for a month now since it wasn't as frequent, but now this is a permanent issue, I can't make any calls. I even just flashed CM12.1 in hopes of solving the issue with an update but it didn't work. Please help me out :crying::crying:
Can someone guide me on how to flash the modem, I read somewhere that it would fix the issue. The rom i am on right now is cm12.1 please help me out here
Hello all, it all started on 5.1.1. I flashed a new build of carbon and suddenly it was searching for WiFi constantly and not finding it at all. So I did a clean install of exodus and then cm 12.1. So I went back to stock locked my boot loader on 6.0.1. The WiFi issue still persist. Twrp 2.8.7
1 and radio/modem for mmb29k. So my question is what is going on. Any hope for me or is device done for.
It is possible that the wifi chip is defective. I would try flashing a stock LP build to rule out mm as being the cause.
I had two nexus 5 phones that also suddenly failed to connect to any networks the wifi was stuck at "turning on". I could only solve the problem by swapping in a new motherboard.
Oh that sucks. Thanks for the reply. Will try your suggestion and will look further into this issue.
I recently rooted and flashed Sultan's MM ROM. I began to have network issues and this morning I saw No SIM Card error. Rebooting fixes it for a while, before it returns. I also see that the signal indicator drops to no bars a lot (used to have this on Lollipop too). I tried resetting APN settings. That didn't help much.
I flashed using TWRP 3.0.1. Could that be an issue? I see many threads saying that 2.8.6 was stable.
In this thread, the person said they had flashed CM Snapshot to address a similar error. Is that something I have to do? If so where can I find it? I am on TMo USA.
Or is there another fix?
Have you flashed latest modem?

Just received the qe1 update on my 920t a few days ago and now I'm losing 4g constantly. The only way to reconnect is to turn airplane mode on and off. I have seen this is a problem with the nougat update. Is anyone else having this problem and does anyone have a solution? I've tried everything I can think of to help and nothing works.
I have not noticed any change after the update...
4G stable as ever!

How did you flash? Did you update over the last update? Did you use smart switch?
When ever I hear of people (or myself) runs into problems after an update I usually suggest a full wipe with TWRP. (this includes the system partition)
Starting fresh and Odining the latest firmware is the best way to go.
Not sure how this could have happened. If anything the QE1 update was supposed to have fixed some call issues. You can always try reflashing the QE1 modem from HERE though and see if that fixes it. If not you can try reflashing the firmware with Odin from the "Sammobile" site. If that doesn't fix the issue either then you always can always try goung back to QC6 either from Sammobile or, if you happen to be rooted, then simply by flashing my QC6 Lite Rom.
