INFORMATION
This is a widget not an app, when you place the widget on your screen you will be taken to a app like screen where you can type your note and save it.
Should you need to edit your note simple tap the existing note on the screen and edit then press save to save the changes.
Any one interested in trying it here is a link: Link
If there is anything wrong with my post please let me know so i can change it
Thanks for your times guys,Josh
"wrighting" should be spelled writing.
I'd like to know more: when you click the widget, does it open the main app or does the keyboard appear on the launcher screen?
Also, is there a main app in the first place (since you're just saying "widget")?
---------- Post added at 11:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:37 PM ----------
Ok, installed it. It's only a widget (make sure it's installed to the phone memory). Simple to use, simple interface, non existent loading times. Clicking the widget opens a screen where you can change the note. Some themes/transparency would be nice, other than that, it does what it says it does.

Different background/text colors, perhaps optional rounded corners, etc.

It's nothing fancy. Just a simple notepad application with added features that I think would be useful. It's still a work in progress and I'm mainly using it to learn more about android sdk and java. You can do a market search for pub: plb and it's called "extensive notes". Please give me feedback on features I should add, what I should change etc. Look forward to hearing from you!
Added some UI tweaks and added features in the latest version.

How do you import notes? Don't see an menu option for it, or export for that matter.
Like it though, simple and looks good.
Any chance of a widget?

Thanks, I actually just finished adding todo's but I renamed the app to extensive notes since the original (notes) is pretty common but search for pub : plb. Anyway export you long press a note and click export. Import create a new note and click import from menu and then just type the path to the file on the sd card e.g. /Notes/note.txt. I'm going to work on widget support next.
Homescreen widget/shortcut support added. You can also import text files from URL now.
Pro version with account & pw management added along with a bunch of other features. Still a WIP so more features coming soon.

Looking really good. Have bought the pro version more to support you as the free version seemed to have all I need.
Couple of things...
Would like to see a really widget with perhaps a summary of notes / to-dos like at the top of the main app
Ability to change the icon of a shortcut
Sticky the status bar notes/icons - after clearing from the notification drop down, the notes disappear.
A change log, as you seem to update daily!!
Good work.
Bryan
Is there a comparison table that shows the differences between pro and free versions?
I installed the free version of this and absolutely loved it. I then bought the pro and have since been trying to work out, how do I merge my old notes with the pro version and how come every time i upgrade my phone software or do a system reset the free version keeps all my notes but anything that I've done on the pro version all disappears?
Sorry wrong note app...I was going on about extensive notes.
Bluestacks landscape/portrait only tablet view mode. Where are others?
As soon as the bluestacks have been progressing it has been deleting most of the crucial elements from it. Now the appsettings app doesn't contain the phone and large phone view mode only the tablet and default mode. Because of this most of the apps doesn't work fine and creates problem unless fiddled with the registry. As appsettings is an app and previously built bluestacks had these options can someone post them here as most of the games do not work with the default and tablet mode resolutions. Also some apps automatically changes resolution too, it's okay to change the orientation but instead of changing the app's orientation the bluestacks orientation is changed which is mind wobbling.
Do anyone else is having this problem?
Hiiii ... when I use blue stack my first word for this app is blue sh!t ...!!! he never my any I download

Hey all,
Grapher is an application to visualize mathematical functions (2D or 3D) and other equations. It is my first published app so I'd love to hear your feedback!
Play store URL (free):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.grapher
Play store URL (pro, released 05/08/2016):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=be.grapher.pro
I'm currently an 18 year old student with an interest in writing math parsers. This app was made with other students in mind, but it should help out anyone else who's trying to graph functions as well
Please share with people who could use this app, it would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!
great work
GOOD job
Very nice , usefull yet minimalistic app keep up the good work :good:
Really nice that "live plotting" when modifing the functions :good:
Nicely done.
Quite powerful.
Great job OP
Nice app
Thanks for this awesome app. Will surely help me a lot.
Thanks again!
Simple but efficient. A nice tool !
fine
As mentioned above the "live plottiing" of the functions is a really nice and useful feature.
wow thas very good app.
fantastic!!!
Well thanks to you all! I appreciate the support very much

This is incredible. I have always had problems considering functions of many variables, while solving multiple integrals.
This app will make is easier, faster, yet educative.
5 star

As a next step in the development I`d strongly recommend bringing up support of multiple graphs on the same sheet(probably in different colors.
And also, please, consider making donate version without adds.

Thank you for the rating
A useful tip could be: you can also differentiate functions, e.g. type: sin(x)', this will plot the derivative of sin(x), which is mathematically equal to cos(x).
Likewise, you can plot the derivative of multi-variable functions, e.g. diff(xy^2,y). This will draw a 3D-graph of the partial derivative of xy^2 with respect to the variable y, which is mathematically equal to 2xy.
I may implement numerical integration soon, but it still needs some work at this moment.

This is already possible, just press the "Add" button in the action bar (or in the options menu for older Android versions). And you can change the color of each graph by clicking the '...' button
Then, I`d say it`s awesome-awesome.
By the way,if I were you, I wouldn`t go for implementing integration, because it`s won`t pay off time you`re likely to spend on it. Considering, that Riemann integral exists if [a,b](where function is defined) has a measure of Jordan equal to 0. I don`t believe such things would be easy to implement in grapher. And implementing integration for only continuous functions is pretty sad.
LOVE it! Really fantastic app, better than many others on Play Store.
Installed and currently using it, really satisfied.
Integration would be useful. Please continue development
Looking good. I've been looking for a calculator like this for a while now. If you'd like some suggestions, a few I can think of are:
-Use some gesture (like a 2-finger or 3-finger swipe) to be able to move the center of viewing/rotation elsewhere. For example, to zoom in on a two intersecting graphs, not at the origin, but at x=50 for example.
-Support advanced features in 3D graphs. Like finding intersection line equations (i.e. circular line equation of cone and flat plane intersecting). Or finding the vertexes of a 3D plot.
-Multiple keyboard layout option. I'd like a layout that looks like an actual graphical calculator. Meaning, number 0-9, +-*/, sin, cos, tan, and their inverse,^ (power), (square or higher) root, pi, log10, natural log, e, and brackets ().
_These are one of the most common buttons used, and it would be quicker to use the calculator for "everyday" engineering calculations with these buttons.
It's not that I think it's easy to include all this, but maybe for your far-into-the-future to-do list.

The 3D graph is indeed fixed on the origin. I will include a 'set center' option in a future update.
As for intersections: I'm afraid the app won't simply find new equations. For example the 1-variable root finding is achieved through Newton's method. This algorithm is also applicable to 2-variable functions, but it would just give you the circle and not its equation. Soon you will be able to manually plot curves in 3D though! (such as your circle, via parametric equations)
There's some interest for an actual calculator keyboard, thus it will get implemented sometime as well.
So, thanks for the suggestions and giving me some new ideas!
Thanks! App is great. I need to use it more to find an error, but at this moment is perfect. Very useful, i think the first app to plot 2 variables. Keep it up!:good:
@dev_graph: Your Grapher define its own level. It is so small, quick, clever, fresh, streamlined and focused. It is pure delight to work with it. I am breathless.
Aren't you from another galaxy?

Take a look for example for another good calculator Calculator ++ with 2D and 3D plotting.
@dev_graph: My only wish is colormap option for 3D lines, like in mentioned Calculator ++:

One suggestion. Use Suru Icons, that will give better look and feel https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.snwh.suru&hl=en

Haha thanks! I'm working hard to get the new update done, the icons are a good idea, if time permits I hope to create my own icon pack for the launcher.
Thanks for the input and support!!
I really like the ubuntu touch user interface, waiting for almost fully ubuntu touch ui

Hey guys sorry about the absence, I had a new baby a couple of months ago and had very little development time.
But I am back and working on the launcher, I've got a few new things going and a couple of ideas!
I'll have a new APK soon to test out and hopefully we can get it to beta stages soon!
Thanks for the patience and support

Yes if you asking the settings( gear icon next to edit button/pencil,) toggle from notification bar swipe down,it's dark when pulled down in dark theme, the gear is white/grey but all is dark in background

Try and use any simple dark wallpaper ,set the theme to dark ,restart the phone and see, don't use the wallpaper from the wallpaper app that is downloaded when you select them, just for checking purpose ,on my set all is well
This Phone has VERY SERIOUS SCREEN Problem ,
Mine got cracked in under 10 Hrs from 1 feet fall .,.This is not even Corning glass 1 ,,
I have used CG3 devices and all or them are way stronger than this ... Logged the call for replacment
Ut doesn't even have gorrila glass. And huge notch. Every other thing is looking perfect

It has NEG (Nipon Electronic Glass) protection which is good enough. And you should know that even GG is not almighty and it can break easily if the phone falls in "the right way". I've broken a GG3 by pushing my phone from a coffee table on tiles without any protection. It hit the corner and two long lines appeared.
You were just unlucky.
