does this have all the features as the HTC sense messenger? "pics,vid,calender,contact,slide".

That's just an ICS themed version of the GB keyboard, the one I posted is the actual keyboard pulled from ICS. Big difference.

I wonder if it would work for CM7?

Someone is that thread has it installed on CM7 so yes, it's AOSP, it will work fine. Just not sure about Sense since it's so screwy...

FOR THOSE WHO CANT GET IT TO WORK TRY THIS IT WORKED FOR ME IM TYPING THIS WITH THE ICS KEYBOARD
You have to use root explorer
Here is what you do first:
Download apk and move it to system/app and set permissions to rw-r-r
Then: click on the app and click on view then click on lib/armeabi-v7a then there is a file called libjni_latinime.so extract it then copy it to system/lib reboot and it should work

So does it just use the stock voice transcription or the new ICS version that dictates as you talk?

So what is different about this keyboard? It looks nearly the same...Is this the true ICS keyboard with the features that are to come with ICS?
Is it that much better than the stock one?

It is the true ICS keyboard with all the features, not sure yet if it had the voice transcription but it has the whole library and everything from ICS.

[ROM][4.1.2][TW][OTA] Verizon OTA De-Odexed and debloated (NEED BETA TESTERS)

This is my first rom or rom edit that i felt worthy to post so give me a break and point out where i could do better!

What is it?
its the OTA zip provided by Scott with some tweaks added
the first zip is just the plain deodexed OTA with the wifi toggle
the second zip is one with verizon bloat removed (NEEDS TESTING)​
i personally use the first zip because i use some of the bloat but both are here for download
DISCLAMER: i am not responsible for what happens to you or your device if you flash these zip files (examples being your wife leaving you for a cat or the world exploding)

How to get rid of the WiFi Notification (i think)
1. tap and hold on the wifi notification and tapp app info
that will bring up android system force close it it will keep the wifi notification away untill you togglr something
(IF SCOTT OR ANY OTHER DEVELOPER HAS ANY ISSUES WITH THIS THREAD OR THE ROMS IN IT PLEASE PM ME AND WE WILL TALK remember imm just winging this right now so give a first timer some opinions?)

Does the debloated version have the the WiFi toggle?
You said that it's stock with tweaks, what are the tweaks that this ROM has other than the WiFi toggle?

As long as you give proper credits to the base, such as you did, I dont care what you do.
You, or anyone else, can use any stock rooted ROM I post and or any mod I post.
Just cant use CleanROM though. I work too hard on that.

i didnt eather im at school so its hard to test. if you tap and hold the notif and click app info
you will go to its process (android system) and you force stop it it will get rid of it untill reboot

How is this different from the CM10 mms.apk? I've deleted the secmms.apk and loaded the CM10 mms.apk on my stock TW rom, seems to work with only a few glitches (lockscreen notification being stuck being one of them). I haven't tried MMS though.

This will soon host AOSP Messaging that you can theme yourself as well as AOSP Messaging that supports MMS. I'm working on it now.

Try deleting the KeyguardWidget.apk in /system/app and see if that does the trick.

It has been for me.. Few quirks that he describes in the OP of that thread - You just have to view the pic after you add it to the message or it won't send; also you have to uncheck group messaging before replying in a group message or it will force close. Everything else working normally. I'm using the inverted version on stock rooted MDL, btw

So I spoke too soon, here's another one that works:
LatinIME (Android AOSP keyboard)
It's similar to the current one and the Google Keyboard with the following differences:
Symbols menu is different (I don't see how, it just looks different)
Emoji section (Replaces enter in some apps, long press the bottom right key otherwise)
For emoji, I presume you need the font. If you don't have the font, I'm going to shamelessly plug my app

Renamed original apk to latinIME.apk.bak and pushed new latinIME.apk to system/app, changed permissions to rw-rw-r, and rebooted. Got a constant force close on the keyboard so i wiped the aosp keyboard data and force close still happens. any suggestions? running 4.3.1 Paranoid Android

This is likely a 4.4 only feature, they wouldn't input in colour on <4.4 anyway
