Hey guys,
I want to downgrade from 2.3.4 to 2.3.3 on a Samsung Galaxy Plus.
Where can I find the I9001 XXKF8 firmware, because someone told me that this is the original, and please tell me wich tutorial to use.

The link for the ROM is posted above, download that. Extract that, the password is linked to the post.
-Download ODIN Multidownloader 4.43. Link: http://www.google.fi/url?sa=t&rct=j...n4WHBA&usg=AFQjCNEnkhKjmSRxlKLFcVNdXh8nnFxU1A
-After it has downloaded, extract it anywhere u want (i suggest desktop, easier)
-RUN ODIN.
-Power off your phone.
-Put your phone into downloading mode. Hold together: Power+Volume Down+Home (phone boots to Downloading mode)
-Connect your phone to PC via USB cable.
-Wait for the drivers to install. After that, in ODIN, one of the top line "bars" should turn yellow and some text should appear there.
-Download the AriesVE.ops file and check it as OPS. Then check one package from the top left. Link to download: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=770410&d=1320332631
-The ROM you've downloaded, check it as one package. Then click flash.
-Flashing will take about 9 minutes.
-Enjoy!

Wich part must load, because when I extracted the firmware I founded 2 files:
SMD_CSC_GT-I9001-MULTI-CSC-OXAKF1_EMMC.smd 539MB
and
SMD_I9001XXKF8_I9001XXKF8_CL310526_REV00_user_low_ ship_EMMC.smd 50MB
Or I don`t extract and loar the archive ?

Because there is no official update for your region or carrier. Just use odin to update

Right now if you want to. Theres already a thread on how to flash roms with odin. Reading strongly recommended

All the ROMs in this forum are stock roms from different carriers.
Edit: except Cranium RC3
Just read the guide. There's damn step by step instructions.

But I want it original from Kies ... understand ?

then connect ur device with kies and wait for an update

The ROMs here are similar to those updated via Kies. Maybe some applications can be different. I mean it can take quite long to get a regional update. If you're worried about your warranty, just take a backup of your current system.

This Tinji I9300 looks similar to the Star GT-i9300 MT6577 from cect-shop.com. I bought the CECT version and rootet it with a modified boot.img.
I attached a screenshot of my system-info. If you think we have the same phones i can upload my boot.img.

i used a modified boot.img to root the phone.
I did it on my own for the phone i've bought at cect-shop.com (see above) so i'm not sure that it will work on other i9300s too.
I recommend to save your own boot.img first using the readback function from the flashtool with startadress:0x0000000000f88000 and lenght 0x00600000.
You are using this file on your own risk, good luck !

Take a look into ColonelZaps blog : http://colonelzap.blogspot.de/2012/07/star-note-ii-n9770-mt6577-dual-core.html
It's the same way, just use the i9300 boot.img instead of the one from the blog.
How to read your boot.img per readback should be clear if you play around a bit with the flashtool.

n9770root.zip includes all what you need, drivers (maybe the most difficult part), flashtool and a boot.img. This boot.img must be swapped with my file. You can do this by doubleclicking the boot.img in the flashttool after loading the scatterfile. Try it out, you can't harm anything as long as the phone is not connected.
When you opend the flastool you will find a button labeled with 'readback'. Click it, than press 'add' and enter the adresse and length. if you finished that press readback and the tool will read your boot.img to your harddisc.

i can't arrieved to download, i clik on yes and after the download don't begining.
and for save my boot.img, i don't understand, i can't connect my phone ? i make just the adress and leght you have post ? and sure it is the same like my phone ?

You have to load the scatterfile, change the boot.img,then first press 'download' before you connect your phone which have to be off.
The download should start automaticly, if not or if an error-window appears the driver is not installed correctly.
I wasn't able to install the driver on 2 Windows 7 PCs. I reactivated my old Windows XP PC and was succesfull. It seems to be a bit difficult to install the driver.
The adresse and length should be the same on every MTK6577 phone, you had to connect your phone as the last step. Doesn't matter if you want to download or readback.
I know no other way to root a MTK6577 phone than flashing a rootet boot.img, it was easier on MTK6575 phones.

Your phone is rootet ? What phone do you have ? Tinji i9300 ?
I just would like to know for which phones the modified boot.img can be used.

Yes, connecting the phone should be the last step. Take the battery out for a second to reset the phone and put it back before connecting it.
As you say you are an android noob i would urgently recommend to make a backup first.
Start the flash-tool -> load the scatter-file -> click on 'Read back' -> click on 'Add' -> doubleclick the new entry -> give a name for your backup -> enter start-adress and length -> click ok -> click on readback button -> connect your phone.
If the driver is correctly installed the tool starts automaticly. The result should be a file with a bit more than 6MB.

No, found no rom yet. Here is someone saying that he have a rom for the i9300 but i got no response so far.

can anybody please make a readback from the recovery-file (0x0000000001588000 / 0x00600000) ?
I damaged mine while playing around, even though i'm not sure that the phone had a working recovery before.

the solution!! go to google and type in alcatel one touch and then go to their website look for your phone download the upgrade tool and bam your phone will be unbricked...it happened to me countless times

you have to make sure your phone is fully charged and the drivers are installed for the phone....the drivers part is tricky...this comes after the upgrade tool has already downloaded the necessary files, what you have to do is when it says disconnect phone and then reconnect and it says failed...you should leave it in the computer then and only then can the drivers be installed then you should reinsert it and try again. It's really easy to do once you follow the instructions http://www.alcatelonetouch.com/global-en/products/smartphones/one_touch_mpop.html#.VBNuiFcXMsU go to that site and download the one touch upgrade S 2.8.0. Install it and then do what it says :good: hope this helps

I have OneTouchUpgrade 2.8.0 installed but can't get the package to recognize the phone.
"Read Terminal Information Failed, remove battery from phone... ..."
...message is what I get after repeated attempts to connect, to get it to download the update package. What driver did you use for the installation, do you remember the name? I know I have a couple installed but may be missing the one you are talking about. Maybe I need to install yours now, before I connect to get the package downloading...

After all the research I've done it seems that the only way is to flash the phone using third party software if OneTouchUpdater S 2.8.0 doesn't work. So far the only company that claims to be able to do this is Furious Gold and their OTSmart module for this phone which is in their Pack 6 Module set.
Am going to purchase and see if the claims are true. Will let you know of the results.

i really need the help with this issue
i have a galaxy s6 .. it was normal and all things was right till suddenly when i was trying to charge it .. and left it about 30 minutes ... it was only 2% of charge ... i've tried to change the usb cable and the charger ..but didn't solve the problem ...although tried to wipe the data but ,,same issue .
so what i have to do?? please!!

Have you tried an hard reset? Try to flash twice the latest firmware for your device, it helped me to calibrate the battery. If it's not working this way I think it could be the port on the device itself

I suggest you to use the programm because it's faster, with the sammobile site you have a download speed limit

From the dialer enter the code *#0228#
BatteryStats window should appear
Press quick start button
screen will turn off
wait seconds
After screen turned on unlock your phone battery percentage should be changed.

trouble in finding ".auth" file to flash phone using SP Tools

Hello
I got a redmi 6, but it was is Chinese version. so I unlocked the bootloader (it took 720 hours to unlock)
after that, I tried Xiaomi official flash tool to flash global rom, but it didn't go well. seems the device is bricked now.
the device just reboots and just shows:
"The system has been destroyed
Press power button to shutdown"
and it reboot, and reboots, .... until it has power in it's battery!
and I have no access to recovery and no fastboot mode.
It seems my last chance is to use SP tools to flash my phone.
but the problem is I can't find .auth file for this device. how can i find it?

I found a Russian forum that seems they have "Download-Agent and Authentication File" for this "redmi 6" device. But I can't register to that forum, so i can't download attachment.
Could somebody who knows Russian language, plz help me with this?
