Same situation than you ...

Did you try any of the Motorola specific root methods. Motofail works on multiple Motorola devices running GB, it may be worth a try:

.

ahh..none of them worked. any other suggestions?
is there a way to manually root it?
hi EKsandcake, I am also owing a YP GB1 too, I have not rooted it yet and still waiting for the method!!
haha, just wondering. have you found any method to root it yet? superoneclick and so many others never work..do you have any experience with other android devices? or is this your first one?
Nope, i am using stock room now,
This is my first Android device. I just switched from Symbian
Have you tried searching YouTube. That's where I find alot of info on rooting. Good luck
I'm afraid we'll really have to wait until the 4.0 and the 5.0 get released in the US. Hopefully then we'll get the pros developing these devices, if they become popular enough. And Apple won't interfere with sales as they did with the galaxy tab 10 and 7 in Germany...
When rooting: have you tried rooting from a mac or a pc? I understand that there are some differences.
Hey guys, the YB G70 (5 inch version) has been rooted successfully.
You can see here for more details

I am still waiting for one of the YP GB1 )

[Q] Rooting galaxy s 2

Hey and sorry if this is a old question, but I have a problem...
I'm having troubles when I'm trying to root my galaxy s II, but my problems are these:
I can't use superoneclick, cause the program it crashes everytime I try.. Someone says that u can't root gingerbread's with that.. (why youtube is full of rooting videos?)
And now I'm thinking should I try rooting with gingerbreak?
(people says that u can't root galaxy s2's newest model with gingerbreak?)
and if I can root it with gingerbreak, what folder I should put that .apk file etc?
I've read lots of forums, but I never get answers to my problems, so I'm hoping that u guys can here help me out.. THANKS!!
You should probably check the subforums for your device. Check the stickies, there's probably a guide to rooting there.
Manufacturer and phone model have more to do with root methods than Android versions. Instead of searching for how to root Gingerbread, search for how to root your specific model.

[Completed] [Q] Please give attention because I super duper need help for my HTC Wildfire.

Hey guys Im new so here it is.
Hey, i just have a veeeeery big problem downgrading my HTC Wildfire. I believe that it is so old and yes it is 2015 and i have this phone. I want to root this phone so bad yet rooting it seems so complicated where in fact took me sleepless days finding out a way to downgrade my phone.
My HTC Wildfire is unfortunately still in HBOOT 1.01.002.
The unRevoked method for Wildfire does not work since the website seems to be off.
It is still S-On. Need for it to be S-Off
Ive searched so many methods of downgrading yet still nothing works. I have tried rooting my HTC Explorer which was the best yet I sold it to my father. I also rooted the phone of my mom which is ASUS Zen2.
Btw, I wanted to downgrade it because i need to update its android version so that i could possibly download apps and run it better. Please give attention to my new thread. I hope someone could help me. :crying: :crying: :crying:
