Which resolution might be for wallpapers on my tf101 and which app to use for set wallpappers?
Stock wallpapers are 960x800 so that or anything bigger than that will look fine

Whats the best screen resolution to set a pic as a wallpaper? My first wallpaper was 533x800 in pixels that I uploaded and set as my wallpaper and it came out perfect. It was stretched to fit the entire screen. Anyway I tried to change my wallpaper which is now smaller and when I click on the start menu its got it all in tiles so I have heaps and heaps of them it looks bad. What is the ideal size to crop it too so that it "stretches" to fit the entire screen?
The screen is VGA, so the best resolution would be 640*480 (native VGA). Obvisously if the same images are going to be used elsewhere too then a higher or lower res might be in order (to prevent them looking terrible on the other device).
Give 640x640 a shot, that way you have a good wallp even when you go to landscape.
can anyone explain to me how I made a live wallpaper with qHD resolution or can anyone create one?
I want try run a live wallpaper without strech the size, and see if the probleme of lag persist on my atrix without strech the new LWP
I think I have lag, because all LWP have HD resolution and not qHD resolution
What is resolution wallpaper for ics so it will look match on screen like stock wallpaper?

As you can look on my screen i am using one wallpaper from above on my phone and this is how it looks in landscape on 4 seperate screens
well i know that is for portrait exact size is 1080x1920
and 1920x1080 is for Landscape mode
which is what i always use with Apex Launcher
it has options to set wallpaper in landscape mode.
i donot use touchwizard launcher. but will post portrait wallpaper as well in future
besides with help of wanam xposed framework you can use scrolling landscape walllpaper even in TW launcher
another way which i have always used to set a perfect landscape wallpaper is with help of this free app

Just switched from Note 4 to S6. So problem is i have some great high-res wallpapers and when i set it as wallpaper it's not showing in high quality, I didn't had that problem on Note.
When i look at the same image in gallery it's stunning, but when it's set up as a wallpaper its not that sharp as it should be. Same probelm in TW and in Nova Launcher.
This is how it looks in gallery. Sharp and no problems.

This is how it looks as wallpaper, blurred and not sharp. Notice red eye sharpness. Not that visible on PC but problem is there.

I noticed this problem too. I download 4k wallpapers to retain as much detail as possible.

But if i have 1440x2560 image and in gallery its showing in full res, why is resolution lowered when setted up as a wallpaper, looks like 720p.

Try going to settings > Display and Wallpaper > Screen Mode.
Found a solution. By using app SB Wallpaper Changer i can set up any image as wallpaper and it's finally showing in its full QHD glory. Can't believe no one else noticed that or reported problem.

Steps
} Uninstall "styles and wallpapers " app using root
} Now download "wallpapers" app by Google llc
For this method to work your android must be above 7.0
If you don't want to uninstall styles and wallpapers or you don't have root access just download any wallpaper applier application and change wallpapers from that app .
