This is asked a lot. I'm sure others will elaborate, but at this time there is no ICS, I'm not aware of anyone with it working, but things change.

Thank you very much even though it was a disapointment you still helped. May I ask though, what rom and kernal are you running and how great and smooth is it? Im running something I flashed to get 2.3.something I dont remember and a kj1 kernal. Its not very smooth and I have to restart my phone atleast 4 times a day.

I tend to bounce between VB Final and MIUI using the included kernal.
Just about everything I flash is good stuff. I'm downloading unnamed now. Try the one click gremlin remover posted in the dev section. Right now I'm using VB final and it's as smooth as I need it to be.
That said, none of this relates to ICS. Lol

Is anyone using a custom kernel with CM10? If so, what is your experience and opinion?

I am currently using a Sprint kernel and not having any issues at all. Its the 747 kernel sorry I don't have a link handy but it works well lots of schedulers and governors to choose from
Does it support call recording?

I noticed that to switch kernels the OP of that post suggests that the user flash a stock kernel (which is at&t in his post). Would this work for us now that we are unlocked? Or do we need a Verizon version to restore wifi/blue tooth drivers?

Have you suffered any wake lock issues on the Sprint kernel? Many of us on CM10 have been having this issue on both the stock CM kernel as well as Imo's. I would certainly give this kernel a shot if you haven't had that particular issue. Thanks!

Check the PA thread. It now has overclock kernel too
I think that this threw need to be relocated to the Q&A section
Egads...no Q&A threads in the Development section.
what rom are you running? what would you like to run? the kernel and rom need to be compatible.

Understandable but the sections have titles. When you have to move as many threads that are in wrong sections as we do, it can be a bit frustrating. The main culprits are Q&A threads in Development sections. This type of thing happens in many forums, not just this one.

Your English is great. I only wish that I had an answer for you. I do not want to tell you something incorrect. Scott has been offline since you asked the question. He is very good to help. Check back maybe in the morning , he is usually on then, Regards.
EDIT: I don't know if this answers your question but I just read that someone who has a different rom (AOKP JB) flashed Scott's OC kernel and it is working.

Post your questions, inquires, and whatever is on your mind here to minimize the clutter in the main thread.
Gmillz is currently working on building slim bean from source. He has a test build, which you need to PM him if interested. This may lead to him adding more features and making it look pretty.
2.6.0 may come out soon as per manuelscout4life's thread. As soon as that happens, it will be epic. Just wait and see.

Sorry for the issue, I though it could help some others so they will not have to start new thread asking for each different kernel.
Seem this forum is not friendly at all, Really nice first impressions!!

In all seriousness, it's actually not a friendly forum at all. The devs are great for providing us with their work, but that's where the greatness ends. You have overzealous mods, people who take this **** way too seriously, trolls, and then idiots.
