hboot 1.20.0000 problemi

I need to downgrade program for sensation hboot
i was using my phone since 4 months wht s-off and root and there are no problems. just 2 days before i rooted one of the ics roms and got an error message and phone went ofline so i made a restorewhit cwm and phone came back online. after this steps i did supercid and s-on to my phone. now telephone works correctly but i cant get any updates or even i cant make my phone s-off again because of it says hboot version is older than 1.20.xxxxxx
short for long about phone
- its working
-no problem whit general usage
-i cant do s-off
- cant get any updates
- sometimes when i open close actions it opens whit bootloader.
question how can i get my hboot to 1.17xxxx or 1.18.xxx again please help me

1- phone : s-on
2- bootloader : htcdev bootloader unlock
3- root : unlockroot21 using the program, to be root
4- htc update does not install
5- hboot 1.20.0000
6- rom: 1.45.468.1 ( orj. turkey ruu ) ( new rom 1.45.468.2. 9,6mb update)
7- I would like to s-off.

Dude please ask stuff like this in q and a this is development for devs. Have a look at Mike's hboot op.

Not sure i understand your post 100%, but as i understand it, you can install a standard RUU from here with a older HBoot
I did that and it solved my problem.

standart ruu installed
error mesage : you want to install version, that version does not match the moment.
loaded : 1.45.468.2 standart turkey ruu ( current)
phone version : 1.45.468.1 standart turkey ruu

Are you still working on the problem you have mentioned or have you get over with it ? PM me in case you would like to get a Turkish help..

The problem is this:
He tried some Ics roms and restored the original Turkish rom from Cwm after he triad to S-on back.
Finally his device is S-on with Hboot 1.20
He achived to root and custom recovery with open bootloader, but couldn't downgrade hboot for S-Off
I adviced to dreamnej this method for downgrade:

But He gets ''Hboot older'' fail.
He has vey strange problem.

go to fastboot and SUPERCID
then find PD58ING.zip for hboot 1.17 and you should be able to go back down and run Revo again
do at your own risk make sure you read all directions on how to downgrade your hboot, and SUPERCID

I wanted to return to the original state.
ics for the original HTC update.
hboot 1.20.0000. this cause will not come with the update. I want to fix.
There was no warning about hboot s-on process. writes may be brick. but hboot "1.18.xxxx 1.17.xxxx or" no warning. "hboot 1.20.0000" problem does not write.
send to the service, but out of the warranty agreement. service asks a lot of money.

Guys i have s-off and rooted htc sensation for some reason i need to make it s-on back for warranty first of all i just followed the steps from big post at xda devoleper section when i was using custom ics rom made it back to gb so at the moment i am using gb 2.3.5 rom and i did super cid also just i need flash the corret ruu for my phone but i dont know which will do it i am living in turkey and in turkish forums people saying there is a ruu whit 1.45 .... code number and its works for turkish vodafone htc sensation devices but when i tried to install it it detects my phone but saying my image version 2.08.401.1 and ru version is 1.45...... and gives me error 155 guessing its because my version of ruu is newest from that stock ruu i got hboot 1.17 at the moment using 2.3.5 gb rom how can i find correct ruu for me is there an any slotion to fix my problem ??

error 155 is not because of RUU mismatch or anything
if you are SOFF and supercid then you can run any RUU
you should run the RUU..connecting the phone in fastboot (phone reads "fastboot usb" when connected ) not from normal boot
if you followed the above way for flashing the RUU..then you wont have any problems

Hi everyone,
I am trying to revert my phone to stock rom.
I dont know which RUU to flash and I have tried the Asian version. It didnt work and pop out error says I had the wrong version of RUU.
I am now stuck in the HBOOT. It seems the only solution is to find the correct version of RUU.
I have the following information on my phone:
HBOOT-2.09.0001
RADIO-16.05.20.16_M2
Hoping someone could give me some advice such that I could at least use my phone.

use command: fastboot getvar cid --> u will get the CID of your phone which will tell u which RUU u actually need.

You need ruu_villec2 2.15

can't get S-OFF, would a gold card work?

kind of in a sticky spot.
have a vodafone nz z710e ... tried flashing a stock ics RUU .. and i just ended up with a htc sceen rebooting over and over ..
should have read a bit more about the intricacies of upgrading ..re cid and sw version etc
so i found a custom 2.34 and managed to flash that, so at least i can get the phone running.
i've unlocked the bootloader, and have a custome recovery on there now.
but i just can't get the reolutionary s-off app to work ... just gets stuck at the zerg boot thing ..and the same issue with the wire trick, the app hangs ..
i can adb flash stuff to the phone no problem ...
but yeh seems i'm stuck on 2.34 , 152.720.3 , hboot 1.18.000
do gold cards work on a sensation with a unlocked bootloader? maybe i could flash a stock RUU from another region ?

A gold card should work fine pal I will post back when I am home a link to a goldcard making website. just remember the smaller the sdcard the better in my opinion (size in gigabyte) , you will need to flash a "upgrade" to the phone so make sure its a software upgrade but not a Hboot upgrade (try get a WWE Rom ) and you will need to relock your bootloader again before you can run the ruu. if you find one that needs to be Downgraded just say and I will try to help you downgrade your misc partition

I would try mmc0 first, and if that fails try mmc1. Its been a long time since ive used a goldcard for a emmc device :/

thanks mate ... so umm ..do i have to do anything to runn the ruu?
i mean, do i just boot up the phone with the gold card and run the ruu on my pc .... problem is if i relock the bootloader the custome rom i have currently loaded will cause the phone not to boot up, only to fastboot.
so i guess i have to find a zip version and do it via PG58IMG?
but if i do it that way do i have to flash a firmware that supports that rom first?? :/

i really think i'm screwed unless i can get s-off
is there any manual way to get s-off on a hboot 1.18.000 device via adb ...ie not using these revolution or the wire trick ...just pure adb ?

Hi,
In order to s-off you need Revolutionary for 1.18 and wire trick for 1.2x
Your problem is you unlocked via HTC DEV.
Relock .
What area are you in?
Would Asia work?

With the goldcard in the phone and your bootloader locked connect to the pc in fastboot mode and run the ruu iy should run without issue. Just make sure its a gingerbread rom your trying to flash and not a ics one and you shouldn't have any firmware issues

and it goes through upuntil updating signature ...... ERROR[131]:customer ID ERROR ...
so i guess that goldcard didn't work...i'll try making another based on mmc1 .... does any one know for sure which one it should be?
feel like i'm getting closer ....new aim is just to get back to stock ...any stock version ...

other way is to change the cid to the european unbranded one and install that ruu again
it might work
fastboot oem writecid HTC__001
fastboot getvar cid (to check if cid has changed)

I'm pretty confident it will work, as long as its an update. It won't downgrade unless you have a misc partition downgrade done. If mmc1 fails then an upgrade will be needed to get ics firmware and then s-off via jupuntobear.

i think it is unecessary but you must have stock rom

ok i've having issues editing android-info.txt of any zip i extract or download.
can anyone with a stock ics zip please add VODAP022cidnum: and upload it somewhere?
i figure if i can get that, i should be fine as my hboot is 1.18.000 and my sw is 1.52.720.3 .... so any ics zip with my cid in it should work ....

do not extract the android-info.txt
just open it from the zip with notepad
then edit and save

yeh it's after the save that i have the problem, it's like i dont have permission to edit the zip :/ .... i must be doing some thing wrong....

[Q] !Help! - HTC Ville is stuck in bootloader bootloop

Hi,
I had the HTC Ville (S4) with o2 (DE) branding running on Cyanogenmod 10.0. Because the new stable version of CM 10.1.3 came out, I decided to flash the newer ROM.
To do this, I had to upgrade my HBOOT (Which currently still is 1.13.0000) with the help of this post:

Sadly I've overread that this "How To" is only for unbranded devices and got the message: ( FAILED (remote: 41 model id check fail)).
Now my Phone has this Problems:
-Can't boot into my ROM (CM10)
-Bootloader is relocked
-When trying to boot into the recovery, I end up back in the bootloader.
-Unlocking the bootloader doesn't work. (Everytime I order a "Identifier Token" via "fastboot oem get_identifier_token", I get a different token (?!)).
Some details to my Phone:
HTC Ville (S4) with o2(DE) branding (CID = O2___102)
S-ON
HBoot = 1.13.0000
Radio = 0.16.31501S.17_2
What can I do ? - Please Help :crying:

Since there isn't a jelly bean ruu for your cid, run the ice cream sandwich ruu and get the OTA through settings.
Then you can go about unlocking and flashing a new Rom.

I tried to flash this RUU (RUU_Ville_U_ICS_40_S_O2_UK_2.38.206.2_Radio_1.08es.50.02.16_10.09b.50.04L_release_278818_signed).
But I got this error: ERROR[131]: CUSTOMER ID ERROR
Think it's because the ruu is an UK version and I have a DE (German) device...
What now ? :/

That stinks that we don't have a RUU for you to use.
With your cid, maybe you should think about supercid/s-off.

Thought about that too. But how can I do this with a un-unlockable bootloader and no running OS ? Sounds hard to me.

Ya need to get that unlocked.

resubmitting to get a new Unlock_code.bin
or using your old one you probably have on your pc.

I've tried to unlock that bootloader thousend times...
But every time I request the Token ID from my phone, I'll get a different one.. :/ (since the failed hboot-flash attempt)
