Iam finding a lot of threads on flashing ICS over GB..Now iam confused to what to go for?..Please guide me from where should i start.
I now have NEOROM v3 by pankaj.
I also find lots of ICS stock rom , don't know which to use .
I read through http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1841219 deodoxed rom of ICS by pankaj. He has said to download
1) Flash ICS 4.0.4 stock ODEXED (CWM backup by Machram or CWM flashable zip by ardatdat)
I can't find ardatdat rom.
is it this

Don't u see any button named as SEARCH in this forum.
This comman question was repeated here for many times that how to flash ICS safely. Even there is dedicated sticky guide for this. Use search before posting.

I have the samsung skyrocket for att and was wondering how i can flash the stock rom and will i be able to get the official ota update? i currently have the skyics update from sean. and i did not make a backup because i didnt know much about rooting when i first flashed a rom

you gotta read and search my friend. Questions go in Q&A btw. XDA isn't going to spoon feed you, the info to get back to stock is all over the place. if you got to a custom rom, I'm confident you can flash odin back to stock
Moved to Q&A. I'm almost sure this might be covered somewhere else but at least have it in the correct forum

This is your actual question. By now you may know Xda organizes those answers in the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket Android Development forum section. Look for the pushpin icons at the top of the list of threads. they are your "stickies", like an FAQ.
Remember OTA updates, when offered, do not mix with custom recoveries like CWM. You will need to flash a stock recovery.

read, read more, read the stickies, i read alot b4 i even attempted to flash, at least a few hundred posts and using the search button.
all problems and solutions have been posted, as u r a n00b all u have todo is invest time into reading alot of posts, because of ur post we all know u havent even bothered to read the stickies, espicially read the one w/n00b's in the title, thats y they r there. .
once u know what ur r doing and r stumped at a certain problem, believe me we can tell by how u post a question, post in the q&a forum

hi guys....currently i m on nordic official ics rom
and befor flashing this i have taken the backup of my GB (india) rom by CWM and now i want to go to back to GB
so my question is can i use that backup that i have taken before flashing ics to restore/go back to gingerbread as currently i m on ics adarat kernel.....plz help me guys

Use the search Button and find it out on your self Buddy, Its answered many times in our Forum...
From next time please search before creating new thread, This question is answered many time so this is like creating Duplicate thread......

I used to install CWM version 4 for backup/wipe purpose of Gingerbread.
Its heard that CWM will brick galaxy note.
Which version of CWM should I install for ICS ?

All right. of course I read that thread, or I wont know CWM
That thread is kind of old, and no one mention ICS.
Besides, I always try avoiding "development" section.
Anyway, I got your message, stick to the old version
i am currently using cm9 rom by sakindia123 and i want to flash cm10 by sakindia. but i have S2E installed on my phne with a 1gb partition.
What shall i do so that i can flash a new rom>>>???
you have to forget the apps you have! ;(
make a clean install of cm10
can sumbdy please tell me,whats the proper procedure for installing cm9 rom.
is this different from installing any jaggy rom?
You can check at the respected Rom page, and installing Rom is generally same via recovery

Please give me some more details, i can try help you.
below are some things that i have done on beganing,
I have flashed rooted Carbon ROM directly that also included CWM.
to flash that rom, i do not correctly remember, but iguess on XDA i have gone through one Thread step by step to root and flash the carbon ROM.
you can find the Carbon ROM OP Thread very easily, just search on Google "Carbon ROm for infuse 4g" and the search result with XDA developers site link -you must click.
This is the ROM that allow you to directly flash the Jellybean 4.2.2 ROM to GB ROM, no need to flash ICS.
and there on the main thread they have given the details step by step to go into CWM recovery mode.

Hi naveen,
I suggest that search for thread naming " return to stock working PIT" and follow the instructions, your phone will start at stock rom......
hope this works....

it was working on stock rom when i try to install avatar rom on cwm recovery it shows dont forget gapps suddenly the color was changed after that i try to restore backup wont switch on
