Sports fans alert !!
Ever tried to sync your favorite teams sports schedule to your google calander? Now there is an easier way to do so .
1.Goto http://www.fixturebox.com
2.Now choose the teams you want to follow.(you can edit the teams whenever you want later)
3.Now you will be prompted register your gmail id with the site.
4.Once finished it will ask you to download a setup file(windows). Download it.
5.Now login with your gmail id in that app(in windows),select google calander and click update!!
6.And voila all the schedule will be synced with your google calander.
Highlights:
* This is the best possible method i have found to sync the sports schedule with your calander.
* There is a built in api for sports in google calander but it will show the schedule only in pc/browser not in your calander app in mobile.
* Running the windows app in pc auto updates the changed/rescheduled fixtures on the go.

Hello people!
This is my first app! I... unpublished it for a while for bug fixes.
It was out a while ago, and after the release, I started to work on my 2nd app.
during the 2nd app development, people who don't know how to use 1-kb (didn't know it's an IME and can't find the app icon cause... there was none...) or fail to connect to Appengine, had thumbed the app down without leaving me useful debugging information...
Here's the reboot of the app -> Google Play Link (now come with a network diagnosis button!! XD)
The main purpose of this app is to exchange texts between Android and PC. Android between Android would've work too... (will make this process much easier in the next release)
I've added an app shortcut, so, there's a main activity.
the IME (soft keyboard) is still there.
and the new features are:
■ without switching IME, via notification, you can now fetch messages directly into clipboard.
■ via Android's "SHARE", user can now share texts to PC through 1-kb.
the web app version is here. Sign in using you Google Account then start typing!
Here's the Chrome extension
and the Firefox Add-On, Ctrl+Shift+O is the shortcut key.
Windows native *.exe will be there one day.
PS: There's a "Diagnose" button in the main activity. Once clicked, it tries to sign in and talk to the server, and the actions will be logged. If anything goes wrong, please click on that and send me the log, appreciated!
■ Tested Devices
HTC Desire HD : 2.3.4 Gingerbread
HTC Desire HD : 4.0.4 ICS
■ Tested Browsers
 Chrome 17.0
 Firefox 16
 IE 8
Best Regards, Hiro

[APP][2.1+] Vacation Responder/Out of Office for Gmail

I've recently been dabbling with Android Application development, my first app Out of Office (Exchange) was developed to fill a real gap on the play store for Microsoft Exchange users. It also gave me the idea to knock up a quick shortcut to the Gmail Vacation Responder settings for Gmail users. It was primarily developed to improve my understanding of Webviews and the Admob service with the aim of improving my development skills.
Set your Gmail vacation/holiday responder (out of office) directly using this handy shortcut to the Gmail mobile site.
Note:-
When logging in for the first time you will be taken to your Gmail Inbox, just touch the refresh icon in the action bar to load your Gmail settings.
Disclaimer:-
This is only a shortcut to the Gmail mobile site, currently Google do not offer an API for changing these settings unless you have a Google Apps for Business account.
Tested & confirmed working on:-
Google Nexus 4 (UK)
Nexus 7 (UK)

Any way to schedule this?
I have the text for my out of office auto-reply already set up in the settings.
I want it to turn the vacation responder ON at 2:00pm on Friday automatically in case I forget.
I have tasker if that helps at all.

[APP][2.3+] WowTasks - To-do list with Google Drive Sync

I was deeply impressed with the Google Drive API demo by Google IO and always want to develop something with it.
To-do is a very good candidate for sync, and my ideal To-do app should be :
- Able to sync to Google Drive and multiple Android devices. No more backup, everything should be on cloud.
- Able switch multiple Google accounts
- Not only sync To-do, should also sync preference across different devices
- Provides different views such as Calendar, Folder and Agenda view for upcoming to-do
- Base on Holo UI. Easy to use but functionality should not be too simple.
- Should be highly configurable , use should be able to choose their date & time format, colors, notification sound, folder icons, sync time...etc.
- Albe to classify to-do int different folders, categories and importance.
- Provides different widgets such as folder, agenda and mini folder.
I try to develop an app "WowTasks" which base on my wish list. Please kindly try it out if you have time, and hope it won't let you down. And really want to have your comments.

If you manage to implement shared lists, you'll get 2 sales very quickly. Very professional job.

Look forward to trying it out, when you do.
Indeed, import/export opml files is a must have. Otherwise, it is difficult to migrate from our actual RSS feed reader.
