I downloaded lots of images from google but it does not appear on stock gallery app but i can open via es file explorer, anyone know why this happen?
The images is .jpg does stock gallery support that format?

I'm using a ROM and it doesn't have the standard wallpapers that come stock with the D-Inc. I've tried installing the apk file but it already exists. Does anyone have the image files extracted?
Flashed the note2 gallery and I'm having a bunch of issues. I forgot to backup before doing it. Anyone have a link to the stock gallery that I can flash? I don't think just an apk will work.
So I tooka version of MIUI music that worked on this thing, opened it up in an apk editor, and changed some PNG images to make it look like the galaxy s3 music player. I signed the file, installed it, and all went well, but once I tried to open it it immediately crashed. The current file (unsigned) has been attached. Fixes would be appreciated because I really want this

I've Google searched, and searched my phone for all png, bmp and jpg files. I can't find anything.
If I want to view or replace certain Android images, where would I find them?
For example, the wifi icon picture that shows in the status bar.
(Android 4.4.2 Note 3, rooted with Cyanogenmod.)
These images are packaged into .apk files. These apk files are then stored in /system/app or /system/priv-app
For this you will need to learn Android device themeing. The images aren't standalone and they are present in specific files. The file or files you are looking for is the framework-res.apk or systemUI.apk.

I have a Nvidia Shield and I found an app to use 4k images on the Daydream (screen saver) versus the horrible default.
I found someone that made this app 9 months ago but the creator has been unresponsive.
Attached is the zip file I found and the APK file.
I found how to change the images in the .zip file but I can not get it load like the original .apk file he has.
I tried just chaning .zip to .apk but the Shield installer did not reconize it (it installed the original .apk file fine).
If I change the .apk file to .zip, it is not the same as the original .zip file so I cannot find how to change the backgrounds.
